Brain dead...Coma...WTF?

😲 Did Rohit really say that during Raima's surgery, a clot went to her brain and she was brain DEAD...and THEN slipped into COMA????

Ohhhhh bhayeee writers! Please research ker lia kerien thodi! 🤔 Brain death means all the brain activity stops...and theres no life left. Its an irreversible process...While coma is a state in which there are brain stem responses, breathing and other motor functioning systems are also intact. The person is alive and can come out of coma too...

The last time my inner doctor got really angry was at the bakwas and fairly wrong medical cases shown in a korean drama named, Descendants of the Sun. While the show was good, the half-baked and ill-researched medical cases made me pretty mad and I quit that show.

Why do writers do this to audience? Why why whyyyyy? 😭 Why cant they do proper research yaaaar! Ya in loagon ne audience ko bilkul hi pagal samjha hua hai!

Anyway... what I have deduced so far about Raima's case is:

-She had a spinal injury

-Kaanch pierced her heart- Rohit operated on her heart (😕) anyway... So he operated and clots formed----> thromboembolism---> clot went to the brain---> Now here, I dont think BRAIN DEATH occurred... I believe, Raima got a cerebral stroke---> that plus her spinal injuries led her to coma.

* Cursing myself for always investing so much emotion in these shows* 😭

It’s alright. I am not a doctor, but did find something amiss when he said she was brain dead. Knew for sure that being in coma and brain dead are not the same.

Reading your post reminded me of Doctor Surgeon - when he saw Parvati operating on her husband 🤣🤣🤣

Dis Raima surgery thing is bogging me ever since Rohit d heart surgeon did her operation... Okkies, as per d recent promo she fell off from a building top nd her anterior part facing d ground nd this making sense that her heart was traumatised nd Rohit did d operation on.... But d reasoning for her slipping into COMA was so lame...I mean brain dead is irreversible nd no way return from coma to normal lyf in such cases if not any divine interventions played in such conditions... They could have unravelled wid substantial reasons like low oxygen depriviation of the brain tissues, swelling, internal bleeding, or stroke...dis brain dead thingy is too much for any person to survive in comatose 🤔

I was expecting doc ppl to respond to the crazy reasoning of Raima's comatose and here u came up with the spot on post pointing out it 😆 Chalo, koi baath nai, as our key focus is on RoNakshi;😳 😆🙈

These people haven't made effort of correcting Dr Rohit's name plate till date then brain death and coma me difference samajhna to door ki baat h 😉😉...dt CVTS... lol 😎

I do get your point dear as my brother happens to be a dentist and he is familiar with the medical profession as well. So I get this must be annoying for you. Even I wondered as to how can a person be in coma if they are brain dead? Having said that I will stay say this is better than other shows where they portray doctors shabbily and to think they are shows centered around that very profession. I am no med student but when DMG was on air I wondered if no one from the medical fraternity complained against this show. Interns used to wear ripped jeans, unbuttoned shirts, girls were wearing transparent kurtis that showed off their midriff. Other than doing what they are supposed to do they do everything else.

That stupid show DMG was the dark spot on Indian medical fraternity... didn't follow it ever but have seen the rushes so yeah well aware of all crap they used to serve to innocent ppl 😡😡
