TRP Confusion

What should the TRP be to keep the show running?

Is it's current TRP that bad?

No it’s in the top5 shows of SP so nothing to worry

It depends on the Channel... Sony, sab considers online popularity of the show too... So they won't end up any so easily even if it has 0.7-1.2 on the average..

SP, Zee, colors etc...are purely for marketing alone, as per me..Any well liked lead pairs or actors of their shows can't impede the show from pulling off air if TRP is low/stable, I mean below 1.5 compared to the rival shows on same time slot...

In rare cases dese channels consider d time slot (too early or late night) of the show to give it a chance to improve...These are the raw facts I hv drawn from my perspective on trps, actual statistics can vary wid persons regarding the show's long run...

As it's above 1.5 which means we have chance?

I hope that’s the case coz the last show I fell in love with was ruined bcoz of the TRP game 😡 and it aired on Colors. The first 30 episodes were pure gold but in a bid to get more TRPs the show was ruined but still the lead actors and the ensemble cast made it worth watching. But towards the end they decided to pull it off air all of a sudden and the show was ruined even further. KHKT is going good for now but who knows? I know SP is not Colors but if the TRPs get too low in the future then there is every possibility SP will pull off KHKT too. SP has axed shows in the past too. Because let’s not forget Dipika is a big star and am sure she is paid well. How can the makers afford to have her in the show? Is if the show does well on the TRP charts. 1.8 is decent and I hope the rating remains consistent if not higher. This will ensure makers stick to the original plot and the show will run to completion.
