I think Raima family is being unfair.

Just exactly what did Rohit do to deserve this kinda treatment, that they do not even let him meet raima, that too when she is not in a state to make that decision for herself. Imagine she really loved rohit and would actually want him to be near her when she is this sick.

I feel irrespective of his mistake , this punishment is too cruel, especially him being a doctor , he could have helped her with all the means.

Well they haven't shown the entire story yet. What exactly happened, how and why...but yes from whatever they have shown, if it's just about an unsuccessful operation then it does feel a little harsh. Rohit is just a doctor afterall and he didn't fail the operation purposely so all this hate does seem unfair from just that angle.

But we still don't know what lead to her accident. Maybe the accident also happened because of Rohit's mistake.

Max they can show rohit being a dedicated dr ignored raima and she met with an accident, even under this circumstance rohit cannot be blamed for the accident that she might have got into. He cannot be shown as a cheater. So for me this punishment seems a bit harsh.

Like you said a failed operation also could not be the reason as he would not have under performed on purpose.
