Yess! And I thought it was really nice that he put it in the box and just deep in the cupboard instead of throwing it out. It clearly means a lot to him, and even Sonakshi knows that by now. But he has come to terms with it and accepted his present, which is Sonakshi!

Yes, exactly because throwing it is out of question because it would look way illogical! And Sona accepting him along with the baggage would be amazing!

Hearing her words irked him and he threw the tee-shirt and trouser over the other side of bed and sat on the bed near his phone!
R:Do you really think that it was just a scene? It was a cliche stupid scene where only the kissing part was left! Thank god it was tv only so they can't show such scenes or else I would have murdered that Namit..
S: Rohit it's Sumit!
R: whatever it is! I don't care!
S: accha ok calm down change clothes, have a nice sleep and we will talk tomorrow!
R: don't try to act so smart Miss. Sonakshi Rastogi! We are not done on this topic yet!
He said removing his watch and looking at it he realized something!
From the time him and Sona had started dating, he was casually treating this watch as a normal one when it wasn't! This watch once had so much importance to him that he stayed in front of Sona's apartment all night!
A small smile flicked on his face as he remembered how they behaved like kids at that time! Though they still do but that was just next level!
Looking at the watch, he remembered his bitter past too! He definitely needs to choose one, either his past or his present!
S: Rohit hello.. Are you there?
Her voice echoed making him come out his land!
And he finally decided what to choose!
R: haan haan i am here only!
He said putting the phone near his ear as he turned off the speaker mode!
S: aap kaha khoye huye the?
R: mai bas apne kapde nikaal raha tha..
S: oh accha but there was pin drop silence! Dr. Rohit can never do anything without making noise! So ye miracle hua kaise?
R: very funny! Ab maine tease kiya toh mat kehna!
He warned her but she continued laughing!
Meanwhile Vimmi came with his night time coffee and he signalled her to put it on the table!
Vimmi knew he was talking to sonakshi so she was slowly going away taking all the time on earth!
And ofcourse Rohit noticed it!
R: accha Sonakshi aaj kal kya shoot kar rahe ho tum log? What!! Don't tell me Parvati dayan bangayi kyuki uske pati ko villain ne....
Vimmi ran out of the room because ardent fans and spoilers just don't go hand in hand..
Rohit too ran chasing her!
R: arey vimmi pura toh sunti jayo!
V: nhi bhaiya mai sone ja rahi hu!
Rohit laughed at her and again went to the room! While Sona was clueless about what happened!
S: Rohit kya bol rahe hai aap mai aur dayan..
R: arey mazaak tha Vimmi ko bhagane ke liye warna tumhari yeh bhakt mera room chod ke jaati nhi..
S: oh Accha i will talk to you later! Shoot ka time ho gaya hai! Happy sleeping!
R: and happy shooting to you too!
With that the call got disconnected and Rohit went to change his clothes! As he came out the first thing he noticed was the watch!
He sighed and took out the box in which it was originally kept safely in his cupboard!
He sat on his bed and held the watch!
R: it's not that ki ab is watch ki value kam hogayi hai! It's just that I don't want to live in my past anymore! Aur agar mai apne past ko peeche nhi chodunga toh yeh dhoka hoga Sonakshi ke saath jo mai use sapne mei bhi dene ka nhi soch sakta! I hope you will understand!
He put the watch in the box and put it deep inside the cupboard and closed it!
His past once again flashed in front of his eyes and a lone tear escaped his eye!
The next moment his room filled with the ringing sound of his phone! He got out of his trance and reached out for his phone only to know that it was her calling!
A small smile crept on his face as he attended the call!
R: I thought you were shooting!
S: woh actually kucch technical problem hogayi so now we have to wait! Maine disturb toh nhi kiya na!
R: ofcourse not! Parvati ji bhala kisi ko disturb kar sakti hai?
He said smirking while taking a sip of his coffee!
S: very funny!
And there banter continued!
