At the Blind School
Karun is out of the car and sees Sunaina outside, but she is only wearing her dark glasses, the walking stick is in her hand where Karun cant see it. Shamit is talking to Sunaina and saying that he feels very bad for his behavior. He says that if she could see, then she would see his tears! (Liar, no tears whatsoever). Karun gets upset seeing Shamit with Sunaina, but Rakshet tells him to get back in the car. They continue to watch. Sunaina says that she does not know what Shamit is up to but everyone is watching. Karun gets impatient and goes closer to Shamit and Sunaina in order to hear their conversation. Shamit tells Sunaina that if she really forgives him then she will let him drop her home. Sunaina is hesitant and gets scared. She says that she will take an auto rickshaw. Shamit starts blabbing that she doesn't trust him, etc. Meanwhile he takes the walking stick from her hand and folds it up saying it doesn't look good in her hands. Shamit then grabs Sunaina's hand to lead her to his car. Karun gets angry and thinks that he can not take watching Shamit behave like this.
Shamit is opening the door of his car when Aarthi, a student at the school, accidently bumps into his car! Sunaina asks Aarthi if she is going home? Aarthi says yes so Sunaina asks Shamit if Aarthi can go along with them since Aarthi lives very close to Sunaina. Shamit gets upset but pretends like he is happy and agrees. Karun keeps getting closer to them in order to hear them better. Shamit, Sunaina, and Aarthi get in the car and drive off. Karun tells Rakshet that they have to follow Sunaina.
In the car, Karun's cell rings and he sees that its his house number. Rakshet forces him to pick it up. Its Leher!! Karun tells her that he cant talk, but Leher goes on about how she is missing him and when he will come home! She is rolling around the bed rubbing the covers-- really gross! Karun hangs up on her. 👏
Karun then realizes that he missed where Sunaina went because of the phone call. Rakshet asks who Leher is? Karun says some stupid girl. Rakshet asks if maybe Don Dad is arranging Karun's marriage with Leher??
Divan House in Mumbai
Grandmother and Radha are sitting together. Radha does not feel that Leher and Karun should be married. Grandmother says that Pratap (Mr. Divan's first name) will decide who Karun marries and he has decided. She adds that Pratap will follow through with his promise to Chopra (Leher's Dad) because he is the one who has always been with Pratap and helped him start a business. Grandmother advises Radha to keep her feelings against the marriage hidden from Pratap. Just then, Pratap walks into the room.
Back in Delhi- Shamit, Sunaina, and Aarthi getting out of car
Sunaina thanks Shamit for dropping them off. Shamit says, "I have not done anything yet....I mean in the way of friendship. There is a lot left to do...I mean now that we are friends- right?" He grabs Sunaina's hand and she is jerked forward. Sunaina gets uncomfortable and says bye to him. She and Aarthi walk away towards the house. Sunaina says that Saloni will drop Aarthi off. Shamit watches and smiles evilly.
Karun's place
Karun is on the phone with Saloni and says that he can't live without Sunaina. Karun begs for help saying he will die without Sunaina. Saloni says sorry but there is nothing she can do anymore. Saloni tells him that they have lost and he needs to accept this. She adds that he should leave and never call them again. She hangs up.
Divan house
Radha is trying to explain her feelings to Pratap but he just walks away from her saying his usual big talk that he has decided and his word is law- not even death can change his plan for Leher to marry Karun. Radha gets dissappointed. He adds that she should call Karun because tomorrow is his engagement to Leher!
Karun's place
Karun is remembering everything Saloni said when his phone rings. Its Radha! Before she has a chance to speak, he tells her that he has listened to his heart but Sunaina still does not care for him. Radha tells him to come back to Mumbai and forget that he ever met Sunaina, because his marriage has been arranged to Leher! Radha is sad and Karun is shocked.
Next Day- Mathur House
Soman is praying saying that she is sure Karun is made for Sunaina, but Sunaina....
Sunaina is at her pottery wheel and Saloni with tears in her eyes goes to her. Saloni tells her that Karun called. Sunaina gets angry and says that Saloni should tell him not to call again. Saloni says that Karun will never call again because he is going home. Sunaina says that that is good. Saloni gets upset and begins yelling that Sunaina is wrong and poor Karun who really loves her is not being treated fairly. Soman is standing by the door and is listening. Sunaina tells Saloni to be quiet. Saloni says that Sunaina is in love with her darkness and she can't love anyone- poor Karun can't have her love because Sunaina loves only her self and her darkness! Sunaina says yes she doesnt know how to love, because she is blind and cant see other people's love. She adds that yes she is selfish and cares about her self only! Sunaina yells at Saloni to leave. All are crying and Soman silently watches- eyes filled with pain every time Sunaina says the word blind. Saloni runs off.
Sunaina begins talking to herself as Soman listens. She says that she knows Saloni is angry because of her love for Sunaina and desire to see her happy. Sunaina adds however that the boy who loves her so much today, might stop loving her as much and then her blindness will become too much for him- what will happen then? Sunaina cries saying that she can not be a burden on anyone. Soman cries quietly listening to Sunaina.
Karun's place
Rakshet is packing and tells Karun to get up and pack as well since it is getting late. Karun begins to cry and says that Sunaina is his life but she hates him. Rakshet get sad but repeats that they should leave now. Karun gives in and heads towards the door, but Soman appears! Karun and Rakshet are surprised.
