Sunaina's house- Demant has just arrived
Demant looks angrily at Karun and asks him why he is there, but all are distracted as relatives arrive! I think it's Dev's sisters who come- they go to help Sunaina get ready, so Demant, Karun, and Dev are left alone again. Dev tells Demant that the two buas are opposites. Ranu Bua is loud and Kantu Bua is quiet. (Sorry if I messed up the names.) Just then, Rakshet enters the room and sees Demant. Dev introduces Rakshet and Karun to Demant- he tells Demant that Rakshet (Karun) saved Soman's life and so she invited him to the house. Dev then approaches Karun and says, "Didn't you want to tell me something?" Rakshet steps in and says that they wanted to know if they could help at all. Dev tells them to ask Demant as he is now in charge of everything! Dev leaves.
Demant tells Karun and Rakshet that he thought they would be in Mumbai by now. He adds that their parents are worried about them and it seems they have switched off their cell phones! Demant tells them that he doesn't want anything ruining Sunaina's engagement and walks off.
Rakshet and Karun have gone outside the house and Rakshet is trying to convince Karun to give up. Karun says that he can't and if he could just meet Sunaina once he would tell her how much he loved her. He says that if they could just look into each other's eyes he would say, "I love you."
Inside her room, Sunaina (who is looking very pretty in a purple lehenga) is remembering everything Karun was saying to her when the lights went out. Just then Saloni walks in with Demant and asks Sunaina to guess who it is. Sunaina worries that it might be Rakshet (Karun) but she says Demant! He is happy that she recognized him, but Sunaina acts angry saying that Demant has come so late and without flowers!😆 Saloni leaves and Demant sits down beside Sunaina. He tells her that he hopes that Sunaina made this decision about her marriage after lots of thinking. Sunaina says that he knows very well she doesn't make any decision under pressure. Demant says he knows that and thats why he wants to know why she is agreeing to marry a man who has already lived half of his life- is something going on? Sunaina gets upset and says that those who don't see the truth of the situation think something is wrong- why don't you understand that girls like me should be happy about getting married at all? Demant gets confused and asks her since when her style of thinking changed- she never thought like this before? Before she can reply, the two Buas come into the room. They get quiet seeing Demant. But continue with their stupid talk saying that Shamit will give Sunaina a palace to live in and she can leave her dumpy house. Sunaina gets sad and Saloni walks in. She senses how Sunaina feels and distracts the Buas and takes them to Soman to look at the jewelry.
Everyone is finishing last minute prepartions and Rakshet is helping decorate. Karun gets angry at him saying he is acting like his enemy by helping with engagement preparations because he is not the one getting engaged to Sunaina! Someone yells that the Dulha (groom) has arrived and all rush out to meet him. Everyone gets out of the cars, but Karun and Rakshet don't see the groom- they don't realize Shamit is marrying Sunaina!!
Shamit's mom introduces Nikhil- who is Shamit's son to everyone. The Buas, Rakshet, and Karun are all confused hearing about the son. As Soman puts the tikka on Shamit, Karun realizes that Shamit is the bridegroom. Everyone walks inside and Rakshet comments that Sunaina is marrying this Uncle!😆 Karun gets angry and says this is not a marriage- but a forced agreement- she is under pressure!😡👏
Inside the house- Ceremony has begun
The Pandit says to call Sunaina as the engagement preparations are finished. Soman sends someone to get Saloni and bring Sunaina.
Inside Sunaina's room- Sunaina asks Saloni how she is looking. Saloni says, "Does the moon ever ask anyone how it looks?" 😳Saloni looks at Sunaina's reflection in the mirror and sees Karun!😲
Sunaina asks Saloni why she is quiet- Saloni says that Rakshet (Karun) is there. Sunaina says that they should go then. Saloni says that maybe he has come to ask for her forgiveness. Sunaina insists that they go, but Saloni says its ok and says that its not like they are in a hurry anyway- there is time to talk to Rakshet. Saloni goes saying she has to get something anyway. Sunaina is left alone with Karun.
Karun tells Sunaina that he is sorry for everything and that he has to tell her....Sunaina says that she doesn't want to hear anything. She tells him to leave. Karun says, "No- you will have to listen to me this time!"
Outside, Rakshet is watching everyone anxiously wait for Sunaina. He prays that God help Karun. Demant sees Rakshet and gets suspicious.
In the room- Karun is saying that he doesn't understand why Sunaina is marrying that man who is 40+ years old with a kid! Sunaina is angry and yells that its none of his business- why does he care- what point is he trying to make with all of his talk!!!???- What is your relationship to me?? What difference does it make to you??
Karun is quiet, but finally says, "Because I....." He stops seeing Demant in the room. Demant asks Sunaina if the guy is bothering her again. She doesn't respond. Demant takes her out of the room saying that everyone is waiting for her.
Downstairs- Sunaina is sitting next to Shamit- the engagement ceremony is going on. Sunaina keeps remembering Karun's words and her reason for agreeing to marry Shamit. Rakshet and Karun stand at the stairs watching. Demant sees them and gestures for them to go angrily. Rakshet gets scared and tells Karun to leave. They walk away.
Outside- Rakshet is telling Karun that its all over now. Karun insists that he cant understand why Sunaina is marrying the old guy. Rakshet says that Sunaina said herself its her own choice.
Inside- Sunaina is close to tears as the ceremony proceeds. Outside- Karun is thinking that he can't let Sunaina's life be ruined, he has to go to her and help her.
Shamit is getting ready to put the ring on Sunaina's finger. Shamit takes the ring out of the box and the Pandit tells Sunaina to put her hand out. Sunaina doesn't move. The Pandit repeats his request for her to put her hand out. She still doesn't move. Soman gets up and goes to Sunaina. Soman takes Sunaina's hand and moves it towards Shamit, but Sunaina pulls her hand back. The Pandit asks her what's wrong. Shamit's mom gets up and goes to Sunaina. She asks Sunaina if she is ok- is she marrying Shamit of her own will?
Sunaina remembers Shamit's threat and hurriedly replies, "Yes I am."
BUT- from above at the stairs Karun screams, "Thats a lie!!! A lie! Sunaina is lying!" All are shocked and Dev tells him to stop his bakwas. Shamit asks who the guy is? Demant says that they are nobody and he will deal with them. Karun yells, "NO!! There will be no more talking now! No more interruptions! I am going to tell all of you everything otherwise Sunaina's life will be ruined!" Dev tells Karun to watch his tounge and if it weren't for that fact that he is a guest.... Karun says, "What- what will you do- kill me? Then kill me, but don't kill your daughter while she is alive!"
Sunaina thinks that Rakshet (Karun) might know the truth about Shamit- if he speaks out what will happen? She gets worried!
Karun goes on that Sunaina is getting married not by choice but under pressure! Dev gets furious and says that they will find out the truth right now. Dev goes to Sunaina and asks her to tell the truth to everyone. Karun says, "No- she will not say anything. She will not say anything even if she has to die, because she wants to punish me! Sunaina loves me and I love her!!"
Sunaina is astonished! All are shocked!
