Just a thought:

Anu will melt DK’s anger after they both vent. When all is well, they will notice Apu not there and wonder where she is. That is when they may find a letter from her as she has left?

Perhaps Vasaikar is inserting the letter and her leaving part here?

I think that is where it is headed. I watched the you tube interview that Ankita posted seems it is 2-3 days old. Means by our Thursday avantika will come home. In that video appu is missing.
