Yes it is! He went totally blind in jealousy and rage and ended up hurting GG. He cannot even fathom the fact of GG with someone else. He doesn't even see the hypocrisy that he married Akriti! After Dr. Riddhesh's death he had realised that even GG loves him. That is why when GG decided to leave Lucknow he said "Mere bina reh paogi?" And then later "Jao Rahi ho toh jao. All he needed was assurance that indeed GG loved him. That came when she said "Maine tumhe dhokha nahi diya Chant Chashmish. Tumhare alawa mujhe koi aur chhu bhi nahi sakta". But again his insecurity crept in when RV hugged her in hospital!

It is only when they consummated he realised that GG truly belongs to him and he to hers! That is why even when he got kidnapped he didn't doubt GG when she said those hurtful words to him in hotel. He was hurt but never doubted her love for him!

Loved the analysis … and so want the crazy jealous anu back and him going mad at his family for hurting his gg

Nice writeup and title. Yep, Gungun is a storm that freed Anu who was caged in a life bound by discipline, family and traditions.

i really hope that Anubhav becomes COLD.. doesnt discuss anything with his family , just comes and throws the divorce papers on akriti face.. he doesnt give in to GG dhamki that she will go away .. etc .. he should have the strenght to stand alone.. he wants gg.. and doesnt want akriti.. they are mutually exclusive!! him staying with akriti because GG says so is STUPID .. and shows him as a spineless guy

He should NOT argue or defend.. specially now after seeing how much the girl did for him.. and how she is being humiliated..He should be COLD ..give divorce and be alone if GG doesnt be there with him.. she will come around he knows that.. but he should man up and take a decision now

Yes initially for Anubhav Gungun was no match and I 100% agree with him, why a scientist will marry a girl who failed in BA exam?

Not only that. He comes from a conservative family and Gungun was a party animal with spoilt friends and spoilt boyfriend.

It was very odd when Kfamily especially BP wanted Gungun as bahu

I mean how can BP allow his bahu to wear western outfits now that we know how conservative he is.

Was Dr Riddhesh enough for BP? Or he actually wanted a relationship with a renowned doctor?

Anyway coming back to Anubhav’s love

As I said before in my posts though Anubhav looked chashmish scientist his heart is always immature as a child and sometimes he is much more immature and childish than Gungun.

That’s why I think his character when he first met Gungun and his character who did suhagdin with Gungun or had a makeover for Gungun is same. Anubhav didn’t change a bit.

Just listen to his each and every dialogue he had with Gungun from “papa ki pari” to “I hate you too” when he thought he made a nice deal with Gungun.

He did bring chocolate for her right?

And from day one Golu chacha wanted Gungun as Anubhav’s better half because he knew the hidden kid inside Anubhav who is under BP’s strict pressure.

If you watch the scene when Gungun is ill and Anubhav tends her, or the ice cream date or when he says I am the first one to wish her on her birthday.

Anubhav WAS falling for Gungun much before the pre wedding drama happened.

Anyway as you said Anubhav was slowly climbing down the stairs but on pre wedding party the stair was crashed, demolished to the ground.

And then Anubhav fell, directly landed on Gungun.

Instead of slowly falling in love (climbing down the stairs), his love for Gungun took a fast forward turn (stair crashing down).

Then we see the injured Anubhav trying to ACHIEVE his love Gungun, but not in a proper decent way but in a TOXIC way. Anubhav was injured (falling from stairs) thus he became typical ITV toxic male.

He was angry, hurt and can’t blame him fully because what Maya did and then Gungun inviting him to break up party made him more vulnerable.

For him marrying Aakriti was a Zid which he did and saving Gungun was a duty, saving Gungun from Ranvijay.

But reality hit him hard when Dr Riddhesh died.
But from that day to second time sindoor hospital scene the way Anubhav behaved is very unstable. Going to Gungun and forcing her to accept him as her husband but never talking about divorcing Aakriti. Coming back to K house and behaving *shit* with everyone, hiding the truth and all.

After the second sindoor scene Anubhav got what he needed, the confidence that Gungun loves him. And yes, now he is ready to divorce Aakriti and fight with his family and he needs time for that.

In the meantime this kidnap drama happened.

Now only thing he needs is Gungun not leaving him, not forcing him to stay with a person he doesn’t love.

I think Anubav's reaction in the hotel had another meaning to me.

He remembers that every time GG is faced with a difficulty when he is in it, she goes to kill herself...

Certainly his words made "beggar", but in my eyes, he especially wanted to be with GG so that she does not think of hurting herself.

Then he had to listen to Akriti's bullshit, to take a step back, he left leaving GG in the care of his uncle, and Akriti in the care of her sisters-in-law.

Anubav knows how to be cold, we saw him during the rituals for Dr. So I figure he'll know how to do what he does.

Now we just have to wait for him to wake up.

Right now I can't think about anything about Anubhav's love. I'm waiting for his next reaction after waking up. At present he loves GG more than anything in his life there is no doubt in it. But how and when he will fight the family for his love. Because what Gungun doing right now is really huge.

I can't express that much as you people but I'm waiting for his reaction....though I don't have any hopes because it's only a show.

I too am waiting for him to wake up. Because for the moment we don't know what he will do, especially with Akriti's threats (even if we can forget them)

But also, someone talked about the fact that he never talked about divorce. I'll make a topic for that, it's not the time.

I've said it before, for me Anubav's love is like a child learning to walk.

He is clumsy, you can't expect him to know things he doesn't know yet.

Possessiveness and insecurity are things that can happen in any context.

I also put all the things on him, because he is the most suitable man to do it. But, in a relationship there are two of us. If GG doesn't support her husband, what good is she?

Saying I'm going to leave for the so-called good of the family, that's not support!

I can enjoy the show better now (initial episodes specially) as I understand Anubhav better. He is the sole reason for me to stick to the show now as there so many flawed characters in the show which are hard for me to tolerate.

Please keep writing os/ff/alternative storyline whenever u have time ..would love to read 🙂...It's lot more enjoyable than watching the slow paced love story in the show .

Anubhav is a complex character, there are so many shades of him that the writer can explore in a better way.

Like his possessiveness and jealousy over GG that shows how insecure he is. You said that he is a bulldozer which i kind agree with that.

When things doesn't go as he wanted or planned it's when the worst of him takes the lead.

He married Akriti to prove that for him, his engagement with GG didn't matter but went berserk at the thought of losing her to RV.

The first time he married her without any consent cause he didn't want to lose her. But masked the act as "i did it to save you".

The second time, during GG and RV's shaadi, she gave him a haq on her and that's when for the first time, in front of so many people he went completely crazy over GG.

Even the consummation, he took the lead cause he wanted GG to belong to him only, that day was also the first time (when he had to hide in the closet) that he said that wanted to scream to the world that GG WAS HIS.

But he also hurted her like anything when as i said, things didn't go as he planned.

When he married Akriti to gave back at her stating that she was better than GG or when RV announced the marriage during the thervi, instead of trying to understand what was happening, he hurted her, saying she was an attention seeker and that he hated her.

He obviously didn't spare his family neither, we have seen how the guy who enjoyed being with his family started to get tired of them. Them controlling and dictating how he should live was fine till he didn't have something he cared, now that GG became all he seeks in life, and family is getting in the way, he won't think twice to leave them. We have seen how he didn't care about them when terrorists blackmailed him, but reacted when GG was the target.

Everyone says that GG is a child but even Anubhav behaves like one. They are actually more similar than what seems, just that GG is younger and lacks of experience in the world. Anubhav instead grew too fast and didn't enjoy life till he met GG and all his insecurities surfaced.

You analysed his character so well. The writers are exploring his jealous and possessive side again by bringing misunderstanding track . I can't believe he is this insecure even after knowing how she risked her life to save him from terrorists.
