AnuGun OS - She hides it well
Later that night they both are asleep
Suddenly Gungun wakes up panting and sobbing
The only thing in her head was how her mother left her at the age of just 11 years how she was never there when she needed her mother
She starts sobbing uncontrollably cursing her fate.
Anu who by now was awake due gungun's panting and sobs cuz she literally sleeps beside him was so shocked seeing her like that
The girl who is always enjoyed either smiling or laughing at him or being a brat was crying so hard in the middle of the night.
He tries to calm her down
He rubs her back and he keeps whispering breath gungun you are fine it's fine calm down
Seeing that she still hasn't calmed down yet he pulls her towards him and hugs her tight in attempt to calm her down
She instantly melts and hugs him back
And that's it that was the breaking point of gungun and she starts to sob on his shoulder
Tho Anu was very much shocked seeing her like this he keeps his composure and gently rubbed her back
After a few mins Gungun stops crying
When he realises that she has stopped crying and has visibly calmed down
He just holds her without saying anything
She lifts her head up and looks at Anu
He looks at her and gets up
He immediately goes to the study table and returns with a water bottle in his hand
He makes her drink and then he asks
"Are you okay now ?"
She nods
"What happened" he asked
" Nothing " she replies
He looked at her
his expression demanding the truth
" I just want to know what's bothering you so much" he replied honestly
And Gungun looked at him
Sighing she said
" I got a dream more like a nightmare about the day when My mom left me
I remember how much I actually begged her to come with us she didn't even look at me she just said I'm leaving to hospital and she left.....she left me forever"
Anu looked at her
When she said all those something in him broke
All he wanted was to protect this women i.e his wife
His eyes caught her eyes and he saw tears brimming in them
He doesn't know what exactly happened to him and he automatically felt his hand going towards her face to wipe those tears off.
She was surprised with his action and looked up to him
"Does this happen with you everyday?" He asked in a whisper almost fearing to hear her answer
"No not everyday not after my 21st bday
Until then I used to get these at least one a week and since my 21st bday it stopped coming unless and until I get triggered about it " she said smiling sadly
Reality hit anubhav so hard
She was in this position crying so much because of him.
Because he was the one who triggered her.
He felt so guilty that he couldn't even look straight into her eyes
She as if understanding what anubhav is feeling rn said "it's not your fault I know you didn't mean it in these is five months I guess I know you well enough to know that you will never intentionally hurt my feelings so it's okay " saying so she smiled GENUINELY for this time
Anubhav looked at her somewhat grateful and all he said was
"Sorry I didn't mean it I will never ever say that again I hope you do know that you are precious and both your and my family truly loves you "
She looked at him surprised
"I feel a lot more lighter after telling you all this no one knows about my nightmares and I hope you won't tell anyone" she said her voice almost pleading
Saying that Anu was shocked would be an understatement.
The girl who would tell each and every single thing happening in her day to her papa and bua didn't let them know about such a big thing ?
"Promise me that you won't tell anyone about this" she said almost in a whisper
He doubted if he would hear that if she wasn't sitting so close to him
He wanted to retort back and tell her that her dad might be able to help her to get over them but one pleading look from her and he knew He would keep the promise.
He in return took a promise from her that she would always tell him if something was bothering her
She smiled at him and agreed
She said "I guess we are friends now" and laughed at her own words
And then they slept again at peace this time
Anu knew something changed in him
Cuz he definitely saw her differently now
He doesn't know whether it was because he saw how vulnerable she could be or something else but yes
He knew he would make an effort to make her smile
