I know this forum is not as active... but am going to make a post anyway as I need to get this off my chest.

Kaali....believes she stands up for the right things. Does she though? She knows what Vishwa is all about and yet she does not see anything wrong in it? She has put up a dark blind around her eyes and ensured his evilness is clotted with goodness. Is that because of admiration or is it because of her desperation to be loved by him? If we go back to pre leap when Manjiri takes the step of leaving the house for her, Kaali becomes adamant to come back to the Jha's household and she suddenly formed an obsession with being loved by Vishwa and we see that till today. She will do anything for Vishwa even if it means killing herself. Is that healthy? Does she really think that Vishwa loves her? Because if she does then she is fully delusional. We saw how pissed off she got when Yug broke those pots just because she was asked to do that dumbness by Vishwa, so for her nothing is greater than Vishwa's satisfaction and agreement. #SadStateOfAffairs

Furthermore lets use the Yug scenario. Kaali is fully aware of Yug's feelings. He has shared everything with her first hand. And yet she has no issues playing with his heart-strings. Why is that? Does she truly believe in ruining 3 people's lives just so that Vishwa is happy, is an intelligent move? She knows Gauri is very head-strong and will not agree to something she does not feel happy about, so why force her? Also does she really think Yug will treat Gauri with admiration and love when he finds out she was never the voice he was looking for? Is she not building a bed full of thorn for Gauri by playing up this lie to that extent?

She is manipulating the situation to make Yug think Gauri is the voice and it would be alright if she was not planning to ensure these two would spend the rest of their lives together. BUT does she really think Yug will not find out the truth about Gauri's singing skills once they get married? Then what is she expecting to do?

Kaali's obsession with Vishwa is doing nothing but ruining her life and soon enough she will ruin Gauri's too. Kaali is the only one aware of the full truth and yet she does not care so long as Vishwa is happy. And that is sad. She wants to expose Kalyani for playing games, but is she not doing the same thing? Maybe not to the extent Kalyani has been sabotaging and playing, but they are both trying to play GOD with other people's lives and that is just making me puke.

Yug: He knows Gauri's surname is Jha and he also knows Neel's surname is Jha, so how come he has not made the connection yet? Sharmila is also aware of Gauri Jha and her connection with Vishwa so how come they have not connected the dots yet?

Yug tonight mentioned he hates Kaali. Why? Because she is the sister of Neel? But did he not witness her standing up for the right again? Did he not hear his sister say it was only because of Kaali she was saved? They are beginning to turn a perfect character into a silly angry young man and they need to stop as Yug is brilliant just the way he is.

Yug is now under the impression he is going to marry Kaali, and yet his Dadi is aware he is marrying Gauri Jha, so how come this was not communicated to him?

Manjiri:How come the name Jha is not ringing a bell in Manjiri's head? She has been completely sidelined and is not seen at all in the show. And when she is seen there is no progression whatsoever. Vishwa, is he ever going to learn? Does the word karma not relate well to him? Gauri is the only soul that can teach him a good lesson, and I believe its high time this starts.

Progression is required CV please!!!

I find it weird that Yug isnt even made aware of whom he's going to get married to.

Shouldn't have Dadi shown a picture of Gauri atleast since she doesn't know he thinks he's apparently met Neel's "sister"?

I don't even want to talk about Kaali...

Im happy that atleast they showed a bit of her conflict with her inner self about her own happiness before talking to Gauri.

But idk why she's so blinded by Vishwa. I want to see a confrontation between her and Vishwa but that's probably asking for too much 🥱

It would have been so nice if Manjiri had taken Kaali forcefully that time. They both would have been living such a happy life but then the show wouldve ended there 😆

I hope Gauri knocks some senses into Kaali once she realises Kaali is in love with Yug and then bring some other nice hot guy for her

I guess the makers are gearing up to some form of dramatic revelation which would explain why Manjiri keeps telling him that there is something intriguing about Kaali. But the constant loose ends and bloopers are not doing the show any favors, as its lacking in continuity. There is nothing wrong with Yug finding out slowly who the voice is. After all it will not change Kaali's feelings for her Baadke Papa.😆

I think by turning her into a manipulative individual and then showing her fighting for what's right is rather comical however like you said, it was good to see her inner turmoil today. In fact she keeps wanting to be embraced by Yug but knowing his fate has been written in favor of Gauri by her GOD (ie Vishwa) she refuses to even entertain the possibility of telling him the truth.

I too hope another actor is introduced for Gauri as this whole concept of two sisters falling for the same male is boring and outdated. Plus Gauri needs to use the scenario that has been given to her to show Kaali that she too can live life without having to feel the need to constantly please Vishwa.

Manjiri is such an integral part to this story and yet she is never seen doing anything purposely post the leap. Its sad really! The show needs to focus on its content again and make sure that Gauri now repays Kaali the favor by looking after her happiness now.

Firstly, thanks for penning this down so beautifully. We have been needing someone to write down reality as it is and you have taken the opportunity to address how they have not even kept their protagonist on the right path as they claim.👏👏👏

Loved the younger Kali and Gauri. The younger Kali was much more inquisitive about why she was treated differently and even stood up for herself at some point of time. But after the whole kidnapping scenario and the blame game for Gauri falling gravely sick, we suddenly saw that Kali wanted Vishwa's acceptance. I agree that as a child she could not tell her Badke Papa of the truth. But come to think of it, she could go to the police and give an eye witness statement once she was a little grown up. Even Neelu would have had some role to play then, because they could have unveiled Taiji's face in front of the family.

She has had enough opportunities to change things for the better, but she chose to take the victim stance and be physically. mentally and verbally abused by the family. The inner turmoil she felt was kinda nice, but the fact she is not willing to put her own feelings for Yug/ Ramji over others for the bigger good is still disheartening. Hopefully her character will turn out to be more stronger in the future when she sees that there is NO love she can ever get from Badke Papa and move out of that phase of even wanting to achieve that. She needs to at some point let Yug know the truth. She is the one he saved in her childhood and she is the one he is looking for. He genuinely liked her even as Kali, for god's sake!

Similarly, there are a lot of loopholes that have not been touched upon. Such as the fact that Yug saw a girl in a salwar singing, he followed her to the ghat, then he sees Kali like a zillion times in black clothes and he is simply like: "Colour suits you better. Why are you always dressed in black?" He even found a black piece of sharred cloth in the mandir when he almost encountered her, and he asked her how she got burnt on the very the next day. He catches her at the studio and actually hears her singing when he was supposedly unconscious. Even after her showing so much of hesitation before taking the kasam that she is NOT Gauri Jha did not make him think there is something wrong? If someone is taking forever to answer, means they are definitely hiding something from you.

The Jha thing is something I find humorous because Sharmila did mention Gauri Jha to him when she was talking about the incident where Gauri shut her conversation with her would-be groom and had her leave the table Gauri supposedly reserved with her purse. She has also called Neelkanth Jha as Gauri's brother. And the fact that even after seeing Neelu and Kali as brother-sister and Kali always being around Badke Papa ki Princess he did not realize she could be Gauri. In fact he is like 100% sure that he is getting married to Kali even without asking Dadi to show him who his bride would be.

His aggressive aversion towards Kali is also not understandable because like you also mentioned, he did see Kali stopping those guys from harassing his sister and asking Neelu to take his deserved punishment, Sharmila mentioned verbally that if it was not for Kali, she would have been raped and despite Kali even promising that she will support Sharmila, he chooses to believe she is not a good person. I thought you had the ability to judge character Yug, if you can trust a stranger enough to save her multiple times, why cannot you trust her to do what is right? Till three days ago, she was someone you were laughing with and now you are cursing your stars because you think you will end up with her? Why dont you try looking for the girl who you are leaving to get married to Kali if you are so upset about that? Dont you still wanna meet the girl of your dreams atleast once in your lifetime?

Manjari was almost seen by Vishwa when he went for the rishtaa and she saw Kali today. She was mistreated even before and now even though Yug's father considers her as a sister and Yug looks up to her as PishiMaa, she is still not a family member. When she heard Vishwaveer Jha's name she did mention it sounds familiar but she does not remember why. She is not even getting those blurred flashes that usually people with amnesia get (as portrayed on TV).

When Kali was a child, Manjari was still adamant and tried to make sure that Kali gets what she deserves. Like you said, she was even willing to leave the house for Kali's sake. But unfortunately in the Mishra/Chaudary family she does not even have that say. Her character has only been there as Yug's confidante after the leap. I, for one want her memory to come back or atleast for Kali to know she is alive so there could be something to look forward to in the Kali-Manjari Maa angle which was the jaan of this story since it began.

And Vishwa claimed to Madhuri when he married Manjari again that he loves Manjari and she was always aware of that. If that is so, why did he simply believe she was dead? Why did he not have a proper investigation in place to make sure that she is not lying on the corner of some road bleeding? Without any dead body, you just accept a person is dead. WOW! Kya logic hai bhai! You love someone and you just blindly accept 14 years of punishment for her murder to save your daughter but dont even try to find her body and perform her last rites? It is evident how much he hates Kali now, but then he always had an immense dislike for her even when Manjari was alive, because of her bhagya.

Lets come to Gauri now. Gauri was the one who always questioned the others about why Kali cannot get all the privileges she does. She always stood for Kali and was even a part of her plan to get Manjari Maa-Badke Papa remarried and even afterwards. She was not so much in love with Taiji then, in fact I dont even remember any of their interactions except when she was trying to save Kali. But now Gauri has grown up to be a person who is easily manipulated by Taiji. It high time she needs to understand what is wrong and right and teach her vile family a lesson.

Taiji is stuck on the same note since 20-21 years that she lost her child due to Vishwa and wants revenge. Well, you know what, great, take your revenge! But atleast treat your son right. He has not harmed you in any way nor has done anything to make you mistreat him like that. If you were so mad at the fact that Vishwa named all the property and assets on Gauri's name, why did you not make your son so capable that automatically in the future Vishwa would be compelled to give him the rights? Why make him exactly everything he should not be just because you are more busy training Gauri as a weapon against Vishwa and harassing Kali? Selfishness ki bhi hadh hoti hai. And a mother's love is the most important thing in the world. Even if Madhuri is a little OTT, she does love Gauri dearly. Instead of destroying lives, if she made one, then she would have gotten her sweet revenge sooner. And her obsession with killing Kali when she was a kid was just horrifying.

Anyways, no point thinking too much about this golmaal because it is ultimately up to the writers to want to change the plot or not. Hopefully they do understand our expectations and deliver as we are looking forward for them to do 😒

Yess, it would've been so much better if Kaali had rather asked her to meet him once and then decide rather than getting influenced by Kalyani instead of manipulating her like this. That way both Yug and Gauri would've known each other and then decide for themselves.

But when has the telly industry shown us real n actual things...it has been like since the olden days...

No one would put 2 n 2 together or connect the dots ...unless it's the antagonist

Protagonists are always dumb and supporting characters are only for nodding their heads to whatever being said by whomever

This applies for almost all saas-bahu, big drama family soaps

And as for kaali...she has been subjugated over the course of time...nearly 14 years...and the reason why I think she worships vishwaeer is becoz she knows that she was saved by him when her own parents buried her alive...even if it was his own selfish reasons...still she is alive becoz of him.

And also...it is a known fact that we always yearn for something that we don't have...we are never happy with what we have...are we?

For kaali it's vishwaeer's love and recognition in his eyes

He is the closest link connecting her to her manjri maa

And Yug...I believe he is so blinded by his love for his sister that he doesn't want hear any justifications or apologies or even the truth of his sister's saviour...he doesnt want to connect dots or solves puzzles...he just simply wants to hate kaali

Yes he wants to hate her because she is the sister of that guy who tried to disgrace his sister

But even I don't wanna keep on giving this same excuse for Yug's stupidity

If I am a teacher...then he is my pet...that's how I would describe our relationship

Let's see what the CVs have in mind for us...and pls no more mahasangam...it's only slowing down the show. ...and I cannot just keep on not forwarding becoz I am afraid they might have inserted some KT scenes in between the other serial. Gosh! I am fed up!

See he knows the voice's name is Gauri Jha and and he knows Neel's surname is Jha as well and him not connecting the two I find to be utterly bizarre! But like you said it's Indian television and as such logic is bound to be misplaced!

Is Kaali truly alive though? Has Vishwa truly done her a favor by saying her from being buried that day? Her life has been nothing but hell ever since Vishwa has laid his eyes on her! She has never experienced a moment of happiness, true happiness! She has built this bubble of of delusionality( if that's a word) around her and she is ready to ruin an innocent life over it ie that of Yug! My question is why? Who gave her the right to play with his destiny??

You are right she is craving for his love and affection. But it's not healthy and on the process of that she has remained nothing but a living corpse and it's upsetting! She needs to wake up and smell the coffee! She needs to stop lecturing about right and wrong when she herself lack the capacity to stand up against the biggest wrong in her life! It's a lot easier to throw stones on others and a lot harder to see how dirty our own household is... The message I am getting from the show.

Yug wants to hate Kaali because he has started to feel for her and in his head he shouldn't have done! He believes his love is the voice and since he does not know the truth, in his head he has betrayed the voice with his new found feelings for Kaali and he cannot fathom that and as such he has built an illusion of hatred towards her.

You penned down eveything so beautifully too! I enjoyed reading your thorough reply! I agree with everything! It's down to the makers ultimately indeed! And that's annoying because the makers this far have lacked in the portrayal of the girls' characters! Am not a regular follower and if she decides to play the sacrificing lamb, I will quit! I just want the characters to have some relatable factors to them! Yug has shown that he too will bound down to pressure in the dadi threatening to burn herself scenario! So not much hope there!!

I didn't jnow Manjiri saw Kaali today! I skipped most parts! That's good! I hope she felt a sense of familiarity between them! I need to watch it! I wonder what Vishwa will do when Manjiri comes in front of him all healthy and well 😆

Hey Jules...so we r back here. He he. How are you?.. OK am not at all a regular follower of this show..but somehow I came across yug and kaali scene...and I liked Rohan from Everest...so came on forum. I know oil bit of story..not all facts...and want to watch only kayu scenes coz rest of the show seems so monotonous even after leap as of characters are still standing from where the show started off pre leap...yeah I did watch few epis then...but the major turnaround we're the kids characters. The kid kaali who was strong,righteous,ferocious,bold became such a pitiful,weak character..submissive ...while gauri who worried for Kali,stood up for her,respected her..was rather weak and dependent on Kali became a rude,loud,ott,disrespectful,treating jali as a shit majorly...cunning,selfish...I may be wrong but for a viewer like me who r pretty irregular.. they come out like this. Instead of seeing a growth in Kali...I don't know what has become of her. I agree totally to you that she's also in the wrong and self is coz kjust to gain love of her badke papa she's bent on spoiling so many lives. From whatever little I have seen...manjri is just for few seconds as a staff to hug..counsellor...and hug is the most real character with growth on the show...he's doing good,and the only saving grace for me..coz only with his scenes I feel something g happening in show...otherwise it's stuck still preleap with grown up faces...

Coming to yug.. well he's a charmer,my pet and I did like to defend him always...haha...but I think he's too young to go into deep thinking...connecting jha..is,a point where I would say..the backdrop of place they show have many jha in there society..so may be that's y he didn't consider...as for kaali..well since Kali said she's neel sister...he tht it to be her only..and didn't think deeply...he's basically on face..person..he's met only Kali..and somehow he's started developing feelings for Kali...so to reject the thought and prove his love towards the voice he thinks he loves he's built..as you said..and illusionary hatred..he's holder onto that reason to hate her coz he knows subconsciously knows he's being pulled towards her and he needs to fight it...so I wouldn't say hug is much at fault here..only little coz he's at present living in his own dillema along with being forced by dadi...this show won't survive much if the cvz don't really start progression in story and increase the pace...by far..hug is the saving grace for me..and I like kayu scenes...

My answer again..is the indian television industry

The whole of the industry and logic are like oil and water...they are immiscible.

They make the leads...mostly the females doltish and inane.

The female leads are half the time characterized to do the sacrifice play for their loved ones. Most People may consider those type of characters to be sweet and innocent and helpless and more...along the lines of good.

But i consider them as an headstrong person who thinks so high of themselves that they play with lives of others and think that they know the right and wrong perfectly. This makes the brattish characters like Gauri seem sweet! Agree?

Atleast Gauri knows what is right for her and what is not, she doesnt care about other people lives. Thats better than destroying other's lives in the name of care n concern.

And Delusionality is definitely a word.😉

The unhealthy behaviour that Kaali is expressing is something that is happening all over the world. Parents, sometimes neglect their own children. That's why there are so many orphanages in this world. If you see, those children just wish for the love of someone and also to shower their love upon someone.

In here, Kaali showers her love n respect upon her badke papa and also yearns for his love which she might never get...

I appreciate the effort of CVs to show us something that is happening in reality but they must depict in a better way than this. This is only adding up more n more violence to the show and that doesnt settle well among many of us.

Not even on women's day would they show a nice epi now would they?? Unbelievable!

Another reason for Kaali to think herself of not deserving Yug is most probably the caste system. She doesn't know her parents. And I am sure she must have been ridiculed by everyone in the Jha household that she is an orphan who doesnt know her father's name, in the long absence of Manjri and also she has been brought up with people telling her that she is just a shadow of Gauri and nothing else.

There she develops an inferiority complex.

And that Dadi woman has nothing to say except for asking which caste do you belong to, what's your religion...blah blah blah...really?? you know how to use a mobile phone and u love reading newspaper...still you believe in caste and all such bakwas!!!

Havent you ever seen an interracial, intercaste or interfaith marriage or people of lower castes coming up higher in life... in the newspapaer which you so love reading...!!!! or were you in coma when APJ Abdul Kalam became the president of india.

I so hate her character...i mean this rarely happens...me hating an antagonist...but i love Kalyani so no worries there for me...

She is an unwanted addition of negativeness in the show...she could have been made a much simpler character...maybe not as an fun loving n sweet Dadi...but atleast someone who is indifferent Dadi or maybe a possessive Dadi...who is well educated and doesnt believe in stupid things.

Sorry for such a patriotic message at the end...my emotions went erratic.
