His acting in Kajjal seemed like a repeat of Armaan sir in Jassi Jaissi Koi Nahin. And now, the actor is part of the women-oriented Radha Ki Betiyaan Kuch Kar Dikhayengi. Wonder if this show would again be able to revive his career again.

For some unknown reason, Kajjal is deliberately given negative press all the time. If only people notice how Apurva really outdid his best (Armaan) in Kajjal !!

Thats why michelle ji I feel that even apu has no idea the fans he won for kaajjal.

They keep throwing away Apu's acting even though he got nominated plus got decent trps on a dying channel.

i agree with u mich ...it sounds suspicious why negative is being portrayed...about kajjal as everyone knows acting or no acting apu had a huge role and lot of screen time in kajjal
kajjal trps were hitting 2 when dev and kajjal had confessed love before raju track started..overall it went downhill in memory loss track....apus role was totally different from armaan except he was kajjals boss...rest his looks how serious he looked his intensity everything was so so different from armaan....
in his interview aa had himself addmitted ke...his role of dev was created to be opposite of armaan...so i dunno who is trying to demean kajjal
and also what is he doing in radha kee betiyaan....

and why everyone conviniently forgets ke he managed to get nominated for best actor in 2 awards ceremonies...

I agree he was good as Armaan, but as DPS, he did even better. His intensity and body language was simply marvellous and his chemistry with Surveen is one of the best we've got to witnesss on television. I can't believe the articles are promoting his role in RKB, where he is more of a sidey till now !!

Hope he gathers his wits and show himself as what he really is, One of the Best on Television !!

Sam you couldn't have summed up my feelings any better. I was so angry when I read this article denouncing Kaajjal. I have not seen that much of Jassi, but from what I have seen I can say that his role as Dev was different. The fire and intensity in his acting in Kaajjal is like nothing I have ever seen from him before or since. What was so bad about Kaajjal? It was a lovely serial, and to begin with it was fresh and charming. And as you have pointed out Sam, Apu was nominated for best actor for his role as DPS....so evidently it wasn't as bad as this article implies.

Armaan was funloving and too flirtatious, but DPS was shown bitter and harsh towards life and later our akdu turned into the most passionate lover. 😃 😛 Lekin he was never flirtatious or anything, so how can they even relate DPS to Armaan? How could these people say it's a repeat of AS?!! These people have no idea, how many fans Apu earned from all over the world, after acting in Kaajjal as DPS. He is a great actor and DPS was one of the best and memorable characters he ever portrayed. Apu should get a standing ovation for this, and same with Sur! They both deserve the loudest applause of our lives!!!! Why on Earth are these media people so hellbent on demeaning Apu and his shows, especially Kaajjal? What do they get by writing such things? 😡 😡 Apu Sur they always think that Kaajjal is the worst thing they ever did, but the answer is noooo!! It's absolutely wrong. By acting in Kaajjal the duo brought the two characters into life and DPS and Kajju barfi became a part of our lives. I think it's high time they all came to IF and read our views, so that they can understand how much we love those two and therefore Kaajjal is one of the best shows they ever acted in. Only the daadu, Shivvu, and Reincarnation with bachchaas track were beyond pathetic, but Apu Sur's acting and their amazing chemistry made us watch the videos again and again. We never got tired of them. We only hated the baseless tracks with kmhs.
