Apoorva is livin’ it up!

I have never learnt to compromise with my career moves," says Apoorva Agnihotri.

"I take up a show only if I am sure about what I am getting into." Being a part of a reality show, Say Shava Shava , on NDTV Imagine does not make him jittery, and it certainly is no monotonous business for him.

He clarifies, "The audience will see me singing on this show and hopefully, they will like it more than they liked my dancing. If I would give myself a four on a scale of 10 for dancing, singing would certainly get a score of six from me."

This self-confessed lover of speed, bikes and aeroplanes confesses that his best vacation has been to New Zealand where he went with wife Shilpa, soon after the wedding.

He fondly recalls, "I wanted to bungee jump with her, but she asked me to go first and promised she would follow. But when it was her turn, she excused herself saying the chooda will make the jump uncomfortable for her!" He also believes that he is a die-hard romantic. "For me, the ideal location to be with my lady-love is a quiet candle-light dinner on a beach in Goa. Such a setting is bound to take the lady's breath away."
Apoorva is glad that both he and Shilpa are not very busy professionally.

"That gives us time for each other," he winks. So what's it that the young couple likes doing together? Pat comes the reply, "Go out cruising, sometimes alone, and sometimes with close friends. We also watch a lot of movies together. But, please no parallel cinema for us. We love the larger-than-life films, filled with grandeur."

Talking of films, Apoorva gets all excited and reveals his plans to join the New York Film Academy soon. "I certainly want to get back to the world of films. This time around, my role will be that of behind the camera. I am looking forward to living my dream."
