Varun Badola was reportedly asked to leave his new show because he threw attitude even before it was shot. Varun claims otherwise

Varun Vadola, otherwise known for his cordial behaviour, was thrown out of Tony and Deeya Singh's Radha Ki Betiyaan Kuch Kar Dikhayengi for the yet-to-be launched NDTV Imagine. He has been replaced by Apoorva Agnihotri.

Says a source from the production house, "Varun is just committed to one show, so we thought he would have bulk dates for us. When we signed him on he didn't say that he had any problem. The planning was taking a lot of time and we were about to begin shooting for the show when he revealed his true colours. Varun not only threw his weight around he was also giving silly excuses for not doing the show. At the end of it all, the production house and the channel together decided to chuck him. Anyway, we have found a good replacement in Apoorva Agnihotri."

Varun, when contacted seemed unperturbed with the development. He said, "There was nothing serious about it. The shooting was supposed to begin in September, and then it was postponed to October. To be very honest, in December I do a lot of shows, thanks to Nach Baliye. Since I don't do too much work, these shows give me a lot of money on which I can depend a lot. So, I did not want to miss those shows. I told them very frankly that I won't have dates during that period. I am also doing Aek Chabi Pados Mein. I realised that it would be a big problem, for both me and the production house, in terms of dates. So, after consultation with the production house it was decided that it would be better for me to opt out of the show."

The industry is abuzz with the idea that he was shown the door, we asked him if it was true. He said, "Yes, I admit that I was committed to the show, the rest is left to your interpretation. If people are saying that then, I must say that the entire unit is going to thank me in future. Because if I were doing the show it would have become really difficult for everyone to work in it!" he added.

Shailja Kejriwal, executive vice president of the channel, confirmed the news. "Yes, Varun was supposed to do Tony and Deeya Singh's new show, and he was committed to our project too. But, there were definitely some serious issues. So, we decided to replace him by Apoorva Agnihotri."

OH MY GOD...OH MY GOD...OH MY GOD 😃 😃 😃 ...Apu is coming back and that too in a Deeya and Tony Show 😛 ..I just can't express my happiness in words now 😳 😳 ..this is a great piece of news I hv heard in the last few months😃 and I m sure theres going to b a huge party now in our Forum with the King's Arrival 🥳

Finally!!! It will be SOOO Good to see Apu on TV again...that too, in Deeya and Tony's next!!

Can't wait to read more on the developments of this show and Apu's exact role. I'm just glad he's finally signed onto another show...Hope it brings him success and Happiness...

wow greatt newss,hes coming back,i always liked apporva's acting 😛 and i would luv 2 watch his new show 😃 but unfortuneatly iam damn sure tht this show is not gona come on sony b/c i dont hve any other channel besides sony or zee t,so i guess its my bad luck 😭 well on the other hand iam not a big fan of apporva but i do likee his acting,and i know how happy u guys r gona bee lolzz 😛 and iam also happy 4 him and u guyss 😉 so i guess u guys should throw a party lolzzzz b/c ever since he left kajal all ive been reading is tht i miss our apu 😆 lolzzzz welll here he is,u guys should celbrate,lolzziam very hapy 4 him and u guys lolzz 👏
