I loved Kaajal (surveen) and Dev (apu), however, this new dev is hott, he isn't bad lookin at all. This Kaajal i wouldn't say is drop dead gorgoeus like our surveen but i'd say she is quite cute. I think i will like them, i am willin to give them a chance. new Dev...... 😳
Hot and young he isn't married like apu (whom obviously is very cute but he's married).....

hmm....doesnt seem so immature to me..well maybe cuz i jus satrted watching this show so i haf absolutely no idea at all bout how apu n thm acted but i wil soon enough...for now give him a chance..hes really CUTEEE..so i give him a two thumbs up..lolzzz

Actually there are two sets of opinion doing the rounds. One side is talking about looks and the other is actually talking about the character Dev.

The new actor's club is insisting on the fact that the new actor is cute, hot and sexy ! I don't think Apu's Dev ka fans are denying the fact that the new actor is cute. Looks are not all that really matter in acting nowadays. Everyone strives to look good and definitely do.

All that Apu-Dev group are saying (because for me there is only one Dev and that is Apu), is that Shreyas shouldn't have spoilt a character like Dev by getting a new inexperienced boy to play such a powerful character. I don't think anyone is against the new boy. For that matter, SRK and Amitabh were never the conventional good looking actors, but with their individual and powerful style of acting they have made each of their character so powerful.

We understand this kid is new and needs experience but then he shouldn't have been given such a role by Shreyas. Its actually Shreyas fault. After bringing to life the character of Dev and Kajjal for us, after going through a whole journey with them, its difficult to accept someone else in Apu-Sur's place. And everytime we explain his part, we get counter posts saying he is cute, he is hot, etc. But then again, no one is denying that ! Do looks only matter !

What about the shoddy presentation of the episodes as compared to previous birth scenes, the acting, the unnecessary loud characters in the present. If Shreyas were so adamant about reviving their serial, they should have gone all out and given us a powerful first week. But they did nothing of that sort. So the anger is not at the new boy, but at the Shreyas. Infact they have put this new boy in a very uncomfortable situation and anyone who steps into such shoes must be ready to face the flak !!

I think any normal fan would be upset....We been here since since the start and suddenly we are told to accept any tom dick and harry...Like michele said our anger is at the production.They could easily ended the story and repected us fans yet they wanted to throw their weight around and bring in something supposedly New!!Actually the new thing wasnt even that great that I could be taken by surprise....
So us fans are pretty hurt by what they have tried to do and hence on a emotional find it hard to accept.Those who have just started watching can definitely try liking the story but yes I think we should draw the line when it comes to comparisions...No one is against the new people but we only wish they dont replace our old DK...cause in the end its not fair to them either!! 😛

Oh I m happy that members hv understood my point and r in for a healthy debate without any fights or personal attacks 😳

We all can express our individual opinions without hurting the sentiments of other members..hai na 😳

Yes Jyothi, I also must say that the old DK are just unforgetable and the new DK are doing a gr8 job as well and us being part of the Kajjaal parivaars job is to respect others and their opinions rather then having personal attacks on them.😊

well i never entered this forum before but today juss landed up here and saw this topic and thot of replying!
i watched kaajal ....but not regularly ....on n off .....so i m nt such a great fan of apu-sur..............i like them though.

ok back to the topic ....i jus saw the new reincarnation episodes ............and to b very frank i didnt find anything wrong wit the actors here!
they were ok .........and ya ppl here telling tht they r immature and cant be compared to old DK .....my argument is .....they r not meant to b compared .cuz...they r not replaced ..........old DK died and this is there reincarnation with diff characterisation n background..for eg old dev was a millionare akdoo businessman but this dev is mast maula wit a guitar in his hand alwaz having fun so how can u compare old Dev with this one....he isnothing like old dev ...he is altogether a different person with dev's soul(thts wat they mean by reincarnation with changed faced i guess) and same goes wit kaajal.......
abt being immature ........yaar old DK ko 25 around bataya tha .....and this new one r shown around 20 i guess so obviously they will appear immature than the prev one....
when they wil reach 25 i m sure they will apear mature too ..............

well i juss mean tht give them a chance and see it as a new story with new actors .....i m sure gradually u will strt liking them ........
