Don't worry Zareen, Majority are with Apu-Sur and will never forget them. No matter who steps into their shoes, or how hot and sexy they are, for majority Dev and Kajjal are and will always be Apu and Sur. They have immortalised those characters and no one can take that from them, ! Let them try as much as they can ! They'll always remain secondary !

I stand by you Michelle and Zareen. Everyone who is a true fan of not only Apu but Kaajjal serial will say the same things. Its about attachment you feel towards a person and a thing. We have watched the show from the beginning and so we know what Apu as Dev means to us. And Apu shall always remain the true Dev. Period. the new guy will forever live in his shadow. no matter what anyone says that he is hot or not, i dont wanna comment on that. i just believe Dev is only Apu and thats it. however, i respect the opinions of others. but others have to remember as well we have been watching this show from the beginning and as true Kaajjal and Apu fans, we shall stand by the original idea and script for the serial.

Devender is not a comparison for apu. if anyone think we are comparing, please break the myth. We are not comparing, because our heart doesnt allow us to compare anyone with Apu/Dev. there are no comparisons. Dev was Apu's baby and that it shall remain. For no matter what, babies always belongs to thier parents.

So thats that.

Devender is i dont know handsome or not, because for now, i think he is over acting and tooo fake. give me a month to comment on his acting skills, i will give him that. And yeah, i read someone said, give him ten years in acting to stand by Apu. Well, than why try to step in his shoes .... whats the point in getting into all this mess. When a new actor starts his career ,its very nevessary to get his own individuality,but he made a mistake by stepping into the shoes of Apu,so comparisons r inevitable😊

When Apu started his career he never stepped into someone else's shoes but he had the guts to compete with an actor of Shahrukh's calibre in Pardes😳and he was successful in that even got nominated for many awards😳

Now if the new guy would hv started his career in a fresh new serial,then we would hv watched it from a different point of view and mayb would hv given him the time to improve,but when he is stepping into a character which has been made immensely popular by an actor of Apu's calibre, then theres no time for improvement😳and also we as fans of this serial and Apu feels emotionally attached to the character of dev and thats the reason its almost impossible for us to accept the new actor as dev😊

Totqally agree with you jyo.. My concern is weither they are trying to potray DPS in the reincarnation track as not DPS ut as Raju Rangeela character.. Also what they r trying to show is his devinder by is falling in love at 19 years with Kitty who is just turned 18years .. There is tennage love being shown is that what it is heading to.. Even f so was DPS like this during that age time frame.. What age is this reincarnation track heading to 😕

i dont want to get in a argument but the truth is that i have watched this show since the very first show.... and i've had an attachment towards dev n apu just as much as you all have... but u tell me is it right that we are becoming emotional fools...i think we should just go with the story....accept the truth and if u dont want to then dont watch the show...and if u want to watch the show...dont discriminate the new commers...they need support as well...many of you all are sticking up for apu n sur because u have seen them on tv before and seen how they act ....but these new commers need a break and they need some time to live up to our expectations...if u would just accept them as they are...u may not accept them as dev n sur...and thats yalls problem..not to be mean or anything just being honest...but u guys dont know who has watched the show since beginning or not....you all automatically get the idea that we haven't watched the show and we are new members...well im not and i know how to appreciate work...they have worked their butt off for us...we need to give them a chance...please!😊
