Dev grabs hold of the murderer and finds its Karan. He then tries to hit Karan for trying to harm his beloved Kajal, but Karan starts begging Dev to leave him. He tells the story to Dev that he had big gambling debts and creditors were chasing for money. So when Shivansh's goon approached him to do the murder for money he agreed. Only later at the Madh House he saw Kajal, and ran away as he did not want to harm his own family member!
He also tells Dev he is willing to give all this story in court to trap Shivansh and help Dev! Dev remembers the last scene after Karan murdered Nayan Mom and tells Karan, "I spare you now because you spared Kajal, but I will never forgive you for killing Mom and will never take your help!". Karan looks evil and thinks "He will be back soon for my help!"
Meanwhile they show Aditya in hospital as reporters ask him who may have tried to kill him. He is answering the "It is Shivansh".
Just then Dev walks in with Kajal to that hospital room. Dev is immediately afraid that the reporters may then try to cross- verify Aditya's story sooner or later with the story in Shivansh's mobile phone, so he tries to take Kajal away from there … the reporters then turn to ask Kajal also then who she suspects and she also faces the camera and says "Shivansh".
All this media exposure makes Dev very uncomfortable and he keeps asking Kajal to leave and the reporter says "Are you not on equal wavelength as your wife on this issue? Why are you hiding her truth? In fact are you both in a bad relationship now?" Dev hits the reporter in anger ... and it becomes a big television story …
Karan is reading in newspapers and seeing on TV how Dev was uncomfortable with the reporters and is convinced Dev is hiding something. He also decides to investigate this Shivansh as to why he tried to kill Kajal.
Karan then goes to a casino where the barman points to Shivansh and says Shivansh is a regular gambler there, who has no money as he loses a lot everyday. Karan goes to Shivansh (who does not obviously recognise him!), introduces himself by just his first name as Karan, and asks for a game which Shivansh again loses ... Karan then asks him who will pay his debts if he thus loses all the time … Shivansh says he has got something with which to blackmail Dev Pratap Singh, the industrialist and will make him pay all debts!
Karan now has both birds – Dev and Shivansh - and decides to exploit this blackmail story to get his way back to live in his own home!
Meanwhile Dev too sees the TV story and thinks: "I must tell Kajal the truth or I cannot help her against this Shivansh, and also keep this guilt burden!"
He goes home from office early to confess all to Kajal, and she is thrilled thinking he has come early to be with her. But as she hugs him she senses he is aloof and worried and asks why.
He then tells her how is unfit for her love as he is guilty of suspecting her with Aditya ... and how he even tried once to kill her in his anger … (he does not tell that this was the gun attempt, not the Madh house attempt!) …
Kajal is utterly shocked and says "How could you? I would gladly die by at your hands you know that! But how could you suspect me? When the whole world thought you were dead I believed you were alive and trusted you so much! How could you thus suepct my virtue?"
With that she tears off her mangalsutra and says all relationship between them hereafter is at an end, they no longer have any connection whatsoever!
Dev is in stunned disbelief … wondering what he has done! FREEZE.
(Maybe this whole confession was only a dream of Dev and maybe he will decided not to tell her all this in tomorrow's episode we will know!)
