Aryan Vaid says people are surprised to find that he's really a family man. Aryan Vaid, was known only as a model before Sony's Bigg Boss happened. Aryan then became a household name. And most people expected to see more of him of TV. However, the actor has stayed away even as fellow participants, Rakhi Sawant and Ravi Kissen picked up assignments, not soaps. Sony offered Aryan Kajjal, at around Rs 60,000 a day, which the actor turned down. So wasn't he tempted? "Of course, I was tempted. I would be lying if I say that I wasn't tempted because of the money factor, but there were other factors which had to be considered. And forget the money, the production house was really keen on me. I kept putting forth various conditions and they accepted all of those. I had heard about the crazy working hours that TV actors have to function in," he said. However, Aryan says that he has always liked hosting shows and that's something he sees himself doing in the future on TV. Aryan recently celebrated his birthday with his family. That's quite tame considering his Casanova image. "Many people are surprised when they get to know that I am quite a family man. I love spending time with my sisters and mom. And the Casanova image... Maybe it's got something to do with my shirtless pictures," he laughs. |
