Satya is unable to believe his eyes, after such a long time he could see his own daughter. He asks her to give her a tight hug; he was dying to hear her voice as her quietness was killing him. He says that if ever he was wrong then he was ready to apologize but atleast she should talk. kaajjal runs away and Adi stops Satya before he followed her. Everyone stands there still.
Satya thinks that Kaajjal was upset with him and that's why she never hugged him or talked to him, Adi tries to explain that she was never upset. Satya says if Kaajjal was embarassed for getting married without informing satya then he was ready to forgive her but she needs to return to him. Adi stops him saying that kaajjal forgot her post, nothing she remembers about her past, thought they are leading a married life but he never tried to touch her or thought of taking advantage.
Sonia comes and says that kaajjal wasn't talking to anyone and she needs someone badly. Adi says that he would proceed as satya was totally unknown to her. Satya breaks down and cries silently while kaajjal is unable to recognize the old man, she sobs secretly. Adi comes to her, kaajjal asks him as to why she is unable to remember her past,she is shocked to know that she can't even recognize her own father,she holds him tight and asks him to confirm if the guy was her own father or not. She is shattered as none knew how long will she live without her past.
Satya cries with Kaajjal's photo, he never knew that his own child will never recognize her papa. He hugs a doll tight that kaajjal played when she was a child, Kaajjal stands away staring at the old man who was kissing the doll thinking it to be his Kaajjal. She comes and sits beside him and asks him about the doll in his hand. Satya says that the doll belongs to a young fairy who loved the doll as much as she loved her father. Kaajjal takes the doll. Satya relates her tyhe story as to how he got the doll for his little angel and tears of joy run down her cheeks. Satya says that he used to sings songs for her and Kaajjal asks him to sing it again for her, and finally they hug.
Satya is happy to get back his little princess and that she could recognize him.She asks as to why she can't remember anything but satya asks him not to pressurize her brains, he asks him to forget about her past as it had gone, her present is bright and shining. Sunidhi comes to satya for some important talks. She says that when a girl is married in their culture, the father has to put rice grains in her dupatta, she asks him to take his time but kaajjal if not her daughter-in-law but will always be her daughter.
satya accepts the marriage proposal and lays her dupatta infront satya where he pours the rice grains. Sunidhi says that within two days they will get married, kulguru was coming for the havan and then the auspicious moment. satya thinks that cause of Adi his daughter will lead a happy life, and after all she had endured this was what she deserved, he prays that Dev never returned back,he was a black shadow for her and he has no connections now with kaajjal.Adi was a good humanbeing, well to do and also very sanskari and he will always look after kaajjal.He is still worries that the day kaajjal will get back her memory everything will be upside down,she should never remember Dev.
The kulguru comes for the havan. Adi and kaajjal are sitting round the fire and Kaajjal starts having flashes of when she tied the dhaga round Dev's neck but those were all blurry. The mantras are being played and the flashbacks are dancing infront kajjal's eyes.The puja goes on in full swing and kaajjal is stuck in deep thought. Guruji hands Adi a plate of vermilion, asking him to put them in the holy fire and kaajjal shuts her eyes,guru jee ties a dhaga round Adi's wrists, her eyes go broud and finally she sees Dev, the flashes come clear to her, she finally opens her eyes totally thrilled.
