Unless Dev's the one applying the sindoor its best forgotten as it would just add to Adi's hyprocrisy if she has to wear a mangulsutar for her fake marriage, its disrespecting the tradition and sacred meaning behind it all.

Hey Autumn leaf, that is really doubtful now, because Adi's mom had already seen Kaajjal going and hugging Adi after she hugged Dev. So probabilities are that she would question Adi and he would say that Kaajjal is his wife and tell her that, they fell in love and got married pretty fast. Then the mom would say that she want to see the marriage to take place in a grand way with all traditions.

The most interesting point about sindoor and mangalsutra part is that, Dev is not even for a moment wondering why Kaajjal is not wearing a mangalsutra or sindoor because atleast he hasn't had a memory loss. It seems nobody has noticed that regarding Kaajjal or the creative writers have forgot about such important things while they were busy trying to link up Adi to Kaajjal😆 Seems all the characters in the serial including Sonia and the villagers are having a really huge memory loss problem. It seems to be a case of total memory blackout😆

Or a convenient blooper. 😆 Ahem, maybe they all regard Kaju as a 21st century girl who does not need to wear her mangalsutra or sindoor to act like a married lady.
