Kaajjal requests her dad to approve her decision,she keeps on begging hoping that he would change his decision,she says eversince she was born she had obeyed her father,had always accepted her dad'd commands and for the first time she had asked for something. Satya remains obstinate; his love for his daughter could never allow him to permit Kaajjal. Finally Kaajjal makes up her mind, she says at any cost she will be the support system for Dev. God had given Dev's life in her hands and none would stop her to marry Dev. Satya is shocked still when Kaajjal runs towards the door. Satya and Hottie run behind trying to stop her but Kaajjal is not controllable. Satya drags her away from the door and locks her in a room saying that she would never be able to meet Dev and Kaajjal cries, banging the door hoping her father will listen to her.
Dhruv is angry and is dismayed by Kaajjal's behavior. Ameesha comes to console him when Dhruv says that kaajjal had been playing with both him and Dev and that she had done the biggest mistake my messing with him. Ameesha says that Dev wasn't wrong anywhere, after knowing that Dhruv loved Kaajjal, he tried to alter his faults but he was unknown that Kaajjal was on two boats at a time.Ameesha asks Dhruv not to let go of Kaajjal, because he was insulted infront of the world and to put a fullstop to all the media issues he needs to answer Kaajjal back, it was the matter of his reputation which he just couldn't put at stake.
Dhruv tells Ameesha that every moment kaajjal had made him believe that she loved him,and at the day of engagement she backs off.Ameesha proves kaajjal guilty saying that the girl is never sure as to what she wants,sometimes her heart craves for Dhruv and next moment its Dev. She asks Dhuv to take a rapid decison.
Kaajjal is locked in the room and she writes dev's name all over the walls, all she cared for was how she could marry Dev.Usha Tai enters and sees Kaajjal, rather lunatic kaajjal writing all over the walls and mirrors. Kaajjal says the name was not only a name, it was her love, her world and nothing can stop her to marry Dev, she had decided it already. Tai asks her to atleast think about her family before she takes such a step but Kaajjal says she wasn't bothering anyone but she just wants Dev. Tai begs her to have something but hunger died long back for Kaajjal,only she was breathing for Dev,satya asks Tai to leave Kaajjal the way she is. Usha Tai walks away sobbing and Kaajjal is again lost in her world, the one thing she blabbered was Dev and only Dev.
Dhruv's ferocious face is shown staring at the enagement ring. He says that kaajjal had only seen his love and now she will see his hatred. Hottie calls dev to tell him that Kaajjal had lost all hopes to live and all she cared for was him. She says Kaajjal had not eat anything the entire day and if she coninued it would cost her life.Dev asks Hottie to solve the matter all by herself as he couldn't do anything but Hotie says if that was his love then she was disgusted by him. Kaajjal was readyto sacrifice her own life but Dev didn't care an inch for her.Dev sobs alone as he couldn't see Kaajjal in that distressed position.Finally he comes to kaajjal's house but satya doesnt let him in. Dev says he had been the cause of all problems but it was his ardent request that satya listens for once what he wanted to say. Satya lets him in, Dev explains that he never wanted Kaajjal to get married to him and it was against him decision too.
He ensures that he would go away from kaajjal's life and she will always be safe and sound. Kaajjal feels Dev around and she starts banging the door and calls for him. Dev is unable to tolerate it and somehow he manages himself and makes an excuse. Satya thanks dev saying that he would have been the proud father to have him as his son but because of the shaani dasha he just coouldn't induce his heart to put Kaajjal's life at stake. Dev walks away and kaajjal sees from the window, Dev never looks back saying that kaajjal has to forget him. Kaajjal jumps from the window and starts running after his car when she bumps into dhruv's car. He stops kaajjal and grabs her hands. She pleads him to let go but Dhruv forces her into the car and drives away.
