Highlights for this week :
1. Kaajjal meets with an accident :
The culprit is none other than Veer. Veer and Amisha are driving back home and Veer is drunk. In the drunken state Veer hits Kaajjal and many pedestrians!!! Veer and Amisha ofcourse do not know the identity of the people hit.
2. Dev in search of Kaajjal :
Dev gets a call about Kaajjal's accident and goes in serach of her. His search takes him to the accident site, then to morgue and finally to the hospital where an entire episode goes in search of Kaajjal in the hospital itself!! Phewww..
3. Guilty concious pricks the mind :
Veer is stuck with guilt and wants to help out the victims but our very own vamp, Mrs Amisha stops him from doing the same, reason being, "they would have to face the law turmoils". She has for the time being wiped all the evidence, like, the car has been hidden and Veer's coat has been thrown!!! (We ofcourse know that these proofs would be found in later episodes!! )
4. Amisha might harm Kaajjal :
Amisha realises that Kaajjal was one of the victims of the mischap and might be able to identify the duo. She is onto something to save Veer and herself!!!!
5. and the award for bestscene till date goes to:
Dev finds Kaajjal in ICU and realises that she has gone under coma!! He feels helpless and urges Kaajjal to come back to her senses and talk to him. He even threatens her (I love this lovey dovey threatening messages 😉) that he would be very angry with her If she doesnt open her eyes and starts talking to him!!!
I would be commiting a crime If I do not elaborate on the impact of Dev's expression in this POWER PACKED scene!! The actor was brilliant.
One could see the helplessness, love, desire and the sense of loss, all in one shot in Dev's eyes!!! He was very desperate and impatient for Kaajjal to come out of the coma. One could feel the emotional turmoil that Dev was going through seeing Kaajjal bed ridden and in critical state!!!
Dev might think that he is not in love with Kaajjal but he cannot deny the vibrations and disturbance that Kaajjal's presence creates within him. He cannot deny the desperation and helplessness he felt when Kaajjal wouldnt open her eyes and look at him. He cannot deny the impatience when Kaajjal would open her mouth and respond to him.
Office or Home, the only person he thinks of is Kaajjal!! Kaajjal's accident news gave him enough shock to show what he feels for Kaajjal.
The audiences have given the name to this emotion, Now, Its Dev's turn.................
Ignored (but Significant?) tid bits:
1. Dev identifies Kaajjal's bag with the help of the sketch which has the love symbol with KD written in Bold inside it. (Kaajjal had sketched it on a paper last week).
2. Doc tells Dev that your "wife" has been admitted to the ICU. Dev tells the Doc that she is not his wife but employee. Doc's reaction was same as mine -"whatever!!!!"...😃
3. The nurse who enters Kaajjal's room (ICU) just stands and stares at Dev till Dev asked her a question!!! Duh Woman, Isnt she supposed to tell Dev to be silent!!!
4. Shottie might be busy with her personal life, but in a short span of time, Hottie explains the viewers why shottie is not present in the scene where the family needs her the most. (What I admire here is that the director did not forget this small detail else one of our IF members would have opened a topic on "Where is shottie" 😉😆)
5. Funniest scene : The last guy who was hit by Veer was running towards the car as If he wanted to commit sucide. His only aim in life seemed like coming in front of a posh white Lancer!!!
6. Touching Scene : Dev goes to the morgue but does not go inside the room. His confidence and "attachment" (tut tut....Would badly wanna term it with the four letter word, but will let this opportunity lie with Dev for now 😛) with Kaajjal, made him deny the fact that Kaajjal would be inside the morgue.
7. One liner : Dev kept the stand in front of Kaajjal's parents, Docs and most importantly in front of himself that "nothing wuld happen to Kaajjal"
Now, starts the discussion of the week......
My Questions to you all
1. "Anyone who comes close to me, leaves me and goes away", Was this destiny of Dev, the indirect reason behind Kaajjal's serious accident and critical state?
2. Will Kaajjal survive the accident? (I know the Janta's unanimous answer to this 😉). If yes, do you think she will be left with some kinda "after accident consequences", say, Amnesia or a broken leg etc?
3. If Kaajjal survives this accident, Will Dev's destiny "Anyone who comes close to me, leaves me and goes away", be proved wrong or "Death would lays its icy cold hands" on Kaajjal again?
4. What will Amisha's next step be to save Veer and herself?
5. How will Dev react when he realsies that the reason behind Kaajjal's condition is none other than his own brother, Veer?
6. and the answers that I am mostly interested in is , How will Dev's and Kaajjal's love story shape now that we have seen Dev's turmoil?
