Dark horses

Last year: Mannish-Poonam
This year: Manav-Shweta
Kya similarity hai: They were the dark horses in the race. Manish and Poonam stunned everyone by getting themselves a place in the finals. We think Manav and Shweta are following their footsteps. Starting off on a wet wicket, they have already won over the judges and are getting rock steady audience votes.

Smile please!
Last year: Maaninee-Mihir
This year: Yash-Gouri
Kya similarity hai: Mihir and Maaninee were never touted as the probable winners. Yet they performed hard and tried to give others a run for their money. Gouri and Yash too are consistent and improving with each round. We also find Maaninee and Gouri's 100 watt smile similar.

Kya chemistry hai!
Last year: Apoorva-Shilpa
This year: Hussain-Tina
Kya similarity hai: They were one couple who didn't care what was going on around them. Shilpa and Appu were totally into each other. Their on-screen chemistry was dazzling.

Tina and Hussain too are following the same mantra of taking on each round as it comes and giving some fine performances.

The fact that they are newly-wed and madly in love with each other also value adds to their act.

Taal se taal mila
Last year: Shakti-Sai
This year: Sharad-Keerti
Kya similarity hai: Both these couples struggled from the first round. They tried hard but couldn't really impress the judges or the audience. Sharad's broad built reminds us of Shakti, while Sai and Keerti are the perfect companions, trying hard to match their partners' steps.

Favourite jodi
Last year: Rajeev-Delnaaz
This year: Shweta-Raja
Kya similarity hai: Both the ladies are Saroj Khan's favourites. While Delnaaz was appreciated for her ability to perform inspite of being on the heavier side, Shweta's graceful moves earned her an early bakshish from the Gabbar among the judges. Both Raja and Rajeev are a damp squib compared to their partners.

Comic tale
Last year: Archana-Parmeet
This year: Tanaaz-Bakhtyaar
Kya similarity hai: Energetic Archana and Parmeet were the favourites last year. Tanaaz and Bakthyaar have stepped in their shoes this year with their outstanding comic timing and innovative dance acts.

Naach na jaane
Last year: Rohit-Manasi
This year: Hiten-Gauri
Kya similarity hai: Rohit and Hiten can dance, but we can't say the same thing about Manasi and Gauri. We loved Rohit and Manasi's sincerity and honesty that came across in the performance. Sadly, they were the first to leave. This year Hiten and Gauri have stayed on only because of the enormous votes they've gotten from their fans.

Jawaan dil
Last year: Sachin-Supriya
This year: Rasik-Ketaki
Kya similarity hai: Apart from the fact that these two couples belong to the senior citizens' club, we think Rasik and Ketaki tried hard to impress the audience but failed early on in the race.

Shaadi se pehle
Last year: Amit-Neeru
This year: Arjun-Gurdip
Kya similarity hai: Both the couples still have to exchange wedding vows. Amit proposed to Neeru on the show, while Arjun and Gurdip are planning to get married during the course of the competition.

Will and Grace
Last year: Varun-Rajeshwari
This year: Narayani-Gaurav
Kya similarity hai: They had style and grace. They even won the bakshish and the ceetees from the judges. Varun and Rajeshwari gave some tough competition to the other contestants. Even though they have been voted out, Narayani and Gaurav have a good chance of coming back. Like Rajeshwari, Narayani too is a fabulous performer.

ya i knw its nothing 2 do wid Kaajjal but Apu who is playing d character of Dev

Since its not related 2 d show i haven't posted it in Articles section of Kaajjal forum 😊

Thanks, only id dont think its right to compare the 1st seasons couples to the second. Oh well i hope Tina-Hussain can go further then Shilpa-Apurva 😳

Sigh I love the way they have written, hussain n tina r one of my fav couples though i think tht NB-1 was far far better than NB 2 moreever SBS ppl making fun of JDJ, n praising NB, tht was a thumbs down n shere hypocrasy ,anyways Apu-Shilpa were one of my fav couples frm NB-1 n i remember getting senti when they went out n cheers for Apu for getting out with a smile n not making fuss abt it

HUssain n Tina have a chance they r adorable couple, Even Manav Shewta dance well, Hiten Gauri r improving though Judges have not been fair to them i feel so at times
