Kissing scene on the telly? - Page 2

Personally, Indian dramas is something that I watch with my whole family and I think that I would prefer it if they didn't show any kissing - yeah it can be implied that they kissed, that is different from actually showing the kiss. Its just too awkward when you are watching it with your parents. But the truth is the thing that I like the most about indian soaps i that instead of showing anything vulgar or exteremy bold, they depend on teh chemistry between the lead pairs. And I think that Kaajjal & Dev have excellent chemistry sizzling between them.

lol...thanks for the replies guys n i didn't mean they should kiss right away but i don't know if you guys ever watched kasam se but the chemistry scenes b/w jai n bani were rocking! they didn't actually show them kissing but made it look like they were....but i understand indian cinema is for families n that's why they shouldn't show it lol..yesterday when dev got so close to kajjal in the restaurant my mom was like slap him lol

lol my sis said the same thing....when he was getting closer to her...my sis is like she sould slap him....and i was like nooo she shouldnt lol...ya i agree in Kasam Se they actually did potray the romance between Jai and Bani really nicely...and i am sure they will do the same thing with Dev and Kajjaal

i think kissing wud be over the top, its not appropriate, for two "just friends" actor/actress, but i don't want it

Right now, Dev and Kajjal jodi is rocking thanks to the mutual hatred and growing attraction . It wouldn't fit in right now either, unless the writers are aiming at a 'Hum Tum' kind of story. Dialogue and eye contact can make a scene sizzle. Yesterday's restaurant scene is one example.
