Jyoti & Kabir are @ home - they did not run into Pankaj. Jyoti tells Kabir that even though she doesn't want to remember the baby, it keeps coming back to her mind. Kabir jokes that she's like sand - everybody makes a lasting impression on her 😆 He tells her to rest, and leaves.
Reshmi comes in w/ Jeet. Jyoti tells her that Kabir told her that she too visited, and had to go back home. She asks her why she is upset? Reshmi asks her how long is she going to keep solving her problems, and Jyoti tells her that it's as long as she keeps calling her didi. She tells Jyoti about how Vikrant didn't even feed him (didn't he?) and wonders whether Jeet will ever get the love of his dad? Jyoti tells her never to give up hope that he will, and that one day, his hatred will turn into love 🤔. (Jyoti, altering attitudes of people like Sumer or Vikrant is out of your control)
Bhavri comes there w/ a bucket. Jyoti asks her what's it for, and Bhavri tells them that there was no water from the faucet, so she decided to fill it up w/ their tears. 😆 They both laugh.
Sumer comes to the living room w/ a blue suitcase filled w/ Asha's stuff. He tells her that since she isn't allowed by Jyoti to come to his room, he decided to make it easy by packing all her stuff and getting it there, so that she can take it & leave. Chachi-sa smirks. She tells him that he has a big heart, and to give her some money as well. Sumer says that he's honoring her - Jyoti had said that Asha will only return to his room when he requests her politely, so now he's politely asking her to leave. She looks @ him tearfully, but he tells her that the divorce is to happen anyway, so she might as well let go of it now. (This new act of Sumer is a lot more palatable than the old bully)
Jyoti is in her room when Asha comes in crying. She describes to Jyoti everything that Sumer said & did.
Sumer is in his room, singing to himself, 😆 when Jyoti comes in w/ Asha's suitcase, puts it on the bed, opens it, and puts all her things back in the cupboard. He asks Jyoti what's she up to, and she tells him that while Asha bhabi can't come into this room, she can, and so she's putting her stuff where it belongs - next to her hubby's. Sumer laughs, and asks her whether she thinks he's Vikrant, who she could forcibly marry off? Jyoti tells him that he had taken his pheres b4, and she's there to remind him that he had also taken some vows along w/ them. He asks her to stop her acting, and she asks him to stop that divorce act he is putting on. Jyoti tells him that she won't let him to do Asha what he did to his first 2 wives. Sumer tells her that he'll do it, and that too right in front of her. He triumphantly reminds her that there's just 12 more days.
Later, Asha tells Jyoti that she has a lot of courage that she's fighting their battles. Just then, the nosy Harmukhi butts in, and asks Jyoti why she interfares in everybody else's business (she's keeping w/ tradition, you worthless widow - don't you remember how you tried to force Kabir to marry your neice, and interfare in everything that goes on in this house?) Jyoti tells her that while she's married to just one person, her relationship is w/ the entire family. So how can anyone watch her family come apart? Chachi-sa tells her that she should enter politics (Chachi-sa, you'd do pretty well yourself, and maybe you can run against your Jeth in the elections head to head? Also get a role for your dear Vikrant)
Chachi tells Jyoti that she'll neither be able to unite Vikrant & Reshmi, nor prevent the separation of Sumer & Asha. Jyoti tells her cheerfully that everything will happen, and invites her to help her unite the family. Harmukhi tells her that a home made of dry material catches fire pretty easily. Jyoti tells her that she doesn't desist from building a family that easily, and the same fire that some see as destructive, also brings light. Chachi-sa is left seething after Jyoti has delivered such a deadly bhashan 😆
Pankaj is in the hospital w/ Roshni, and the doctor tells him that he can take Roshni home. Pankaj tells him that he has a small problem - he came for a few days here on some work that's yet unfinished, and asks if the doctor can keep her? The doctor tells him that it's against hospital rules, and that once someone is well, the hospital is supposed to release them. (This is the same Pankaj who once asked a hospital receptionist whether it was a hospital or a hotel?)
The doctor then asks him why not leave her w/ her mom? Pankaj tells him that she doesn't have a mom, and that he's new to this city (how convenient) and knows nobody. (So where are Neelam & Bhairavi? Not available when he needs them?) The doctor tells him that when Pankaj was away, he couldn't manage Roshni, but luckily a woman came who took care of her like a mom. Pankaj asks to talk to her if possible, and the doc calls Jyoti, tells her about it and gives it to Pankaj.
Pankaj introduces himself as Roshni's father, w/o giving his name, and tells her that the doc told him how she had taken care of Roshni. He tells her that he is new to this city and knows nobody, and asks her whether she could help him? Jyoti is speechless, as the voice sounds familiar. The doc takes the phone as she doesn't answer, and tells her that there's no pressure on her, but whether she'd be willing to help? Jyoti agrees. After the call, she wonders why the voice sounded familiar, but is happy that she'll get some more time w/ Roshni.
Jyoti arrives @ the hospital, and @ the reception area, again Pankaj passes her w/o her seeing him. She gets a tense feeling, and then goes to the room where he's gone. Finally she gets to him from behind, w/o seeing who he is, and taps him on the shoulder. The episode ends there.
Another lame episode. First comments on Pankaj - after all that he did, and today they showed some of those flashbacks, he now has nobody to care for Roshni. What happened to Neelam - did she finally bolt after taking enough ill-treatment from him? How about his dear choti-ma - not willing to be a choti-dadi to Roshni? She was all over Pankaj when Jyoti was married to him, but now?
Sumer is much improved - at least now, he plays it straight, and one wonders what Jyoti means when she tells Asha that Sumer won't divorce her. Nothing has changed in his attitude, nor Vikrant's. In that respect, chachi-sa is right, but then again, it's not like she shies away from interfaring in Jyoti's marriage. At least, it's Jyoti fighting fire w/ fire.
Bhavri remains entertaining, like w/ the ritual 2 days ago and the bucket today, but would like to see some romance b/w her & Raghu, not just b/w Jyotir. Would also like to see RP turn on Chachi-sa - that would be as interesting as Brij vs Bhairavi - remember that? - once was.
