Ok, finally, here it is!!! Had an internet outage b/w last night & now by the time I was done writing this, a power outage this morning - hence the major delay in posting Couldn't ask Kruthika to substitute me either - thanks for doing this. 😊😊

Part 1

Kabir reads the letter and sees that Jyoti has resigned. He asks Bhagya-da about it, and Bhagya-da tells him that you should know better - she has said she's not going to work anywhere where she has to work w/ you. He tells Kabir that it must have been something major for her to give up something that meant so much to her. Kabir said that there was, and leaves from there for Jyoti's house.

As Kabir is getting into his jeep, his phone rings. A supervisor @ a construction site asks him whether Brij is his friend. Kabir tells him that he is, and is told that Brij has gone to him for a job, and gave him Kabir's name as a guarantor. Kabir asks him what's the company, and is told that this is @ a highway construction site which is working on the Amardeep complex. He has offered Brij the job of transporting material @ this site. Kabir asks to talk to him, and asks Brij why is he working such a job in his current health condition? Brij tells him that he's finally come to terms w/ himself, and that this is the first time in his life that he's doing honest work (make that second - you were Bhagya-da's singer once). He asks Kabir to help him get it. The supervisor asks Kabir if Brij is okay to hire, and if he would stand as his guarantor, and Kabir agrees.

Jyoti enters Basu's office, and tells him that she's resigned from the dance academy for personal reasons, and that she's like a full time job @ the paper. Basu tells him that he'll try, but that it was probably futile - after that TV incident, the directors of that paper would not want Jyoti to work there again. (So Jyoti wrote her column just once, or is it still active?) He might be able to give Jyoti some written assignments, but warns her that since elections are just around the corner (what elections? Are their state elections in Rajasthan, or municipal elections in Udaipur right now?), she will have to be very careful of what she writes. Jyoti thanks him and leaves.

Kabir arrives @ the Sharmas. Padma opens it and is annoyed to see him. He tells her that he needs to talk to Jyoti, and Padma asks him why he's there? KK overrules her and invites him in. KK asks him what's the matter, and whether Jyoti is okay? Kabir tells him that Jyoti has just resigned from the academy, which is why he's there to see her. All are shocked to hear this, but Deepu remarks that this is something she should have done long ago. Kabir is irritated and asks Deepu whether he's even aware that dance is her life, and had it not been for that, she'd not be alive today: dance is a puja for her. Doesn't he know that much about her? And today, if she quits dancing, she's no longer Jyoti, she's a shadow 😉😆 And the sad thing is that Deepu hasn't been able to understand this. Deepu sneers @ Kabir, and tells him sarcastically that none of those in the family who've been around Jyoti all their lives know her, but Kabir does? He tells Kabir that if he's done w/ his lecture, he can leave. Kabir is about to, but KK stops him and asks him to take care of Jyoti, since Brij is loose. Deepu tells KK that it's Kabir who brought Brij in there in the first place. He tells KK that there is no need to beg from an outsider, and that he'll go out and look for Jyoti. 👏👏 He leaves, and KK repeats his request to Kabir. Kabir assures him that Brij won't harm Jyoti, but that he'll look for her and see what he can do.

However, Poonam follows Deepu to his room and talks him out of it, saying that Jyoti is not a kid, and she'll get back. She tells him that so far, he's been following his own desires, but now he should follow hers. She tells him that nothing will happen to his sisters, but if he continues living like this, he'll ruin his life. She begs him to think about himself and their future. It's time to do something positive - as his wife, she has the right to tell him that.

Jyoti arrives @ home, and as she is entering, Kabir stops her outside and insists that she come w/ him. Jyoti tells him that she's done listening to him, but he tells her how everyone who repents deserves a second chance, but she's just rendered her final decision. He tells her that even though she legitimately mistrusts Brij, she should trust Kabir. He tells her that she could be wrong as well, and doesn't she think every person deserves the chance to atone for his deeds? Jyoti tells Kabir that this chance is probably his last to save their friendship, and that she needs to get back home.

Part 2

Deepu & Poonam are @ her parents' house. Poonam tells them that they've done a lot of thinking, and now Sandeep too is on board. Prabha-ji is happy, but Mahesh-ji asks to hear Sandeep's views on this. He tells Sandeep that he should always do work that he likes doing, so he asks him to tell him freely whether he wants to or not. Deepu tells him that minds change all the time, but in life, one has to keep in mind one's commitments, and his commitments are to his family. He tells him that he's prepared to work for him.

Poonam is thrilled, and goes & hugs her mom. Mahesh-ji tells Deepu that he's impressed w/ his response. He tells him to make his commitments part of his desires - that will serve him well. 👏👏 (Mahesh-ji is one person whose philosophy impresses me immensely - if only he didn't spoil his daughter)

Kabir and Jyoti drive into the Amardeep construction site, and Kabir stops and asks Jyoti to get down. He then points to Brij @ a distance, who is carrying cement on his head. Jyoti sees him working in the dust, and one of Brij's co-workers goads him to work faster 👏👏 Jyoti turns and gets back into the car, and tells Kabir to take her back home. Kabir insists that she gets down, and Jyoti asks him why he's forcing her to watch this charade? Kabir asks her whether she thinks that everything she's seeing from a distance is an act, and he has not changed @ all? Jyoti tells him that it's a lie, and that they've seen several such performances from him. Kabir asks her why would he put on such an act, when he's seen neither Jyoti nor Kabir? He insists that Jyoti come along w/ him.

The supervisor tells all the workers to take a 1/2 hour lunch break, and return to work after that. Brij sits next to a laborer, who offers him a roti, which he declines. Kabir brings Jyoti there and shows her that he's not taking any food until it's w/ money that he's himself honestly earned. (So is he going to starve for a month? - it's not like he'll get paid for the first month or so).

Deepu & Poonam return home. They break the news to others that Deepu has gotten a new job. Everybody is overjoyed, and KK asks him whether this is another courier company? Deepu tells him that it's an Interior Designing company. KK is surprised, and tells him that he never did any such course. Deepu tells him that he'll learn, and Padma agrees. KK asks him the name of the company. Deepu, after hesitating, tells him that it's his FIL's company. Padma is instantly disgusted and walks out (Padma, you really thought that Deepu would get an Interior Design job w/ no background or experience? Wow, are you dense!) The mood of the others change as well - KK, Dadi & Sushma look disappointed. (As you all know, Sharma-jis, things would have been different had Deepu had his degree.)

Part 3

Kabir & Jyoti meet Brij. He laughs, and tells them that he didn't realize what he had abandoned, and asks about Sushma. Jyoti asks him whether he's so shameless that after everything he's done to her, how did he dare utter her name? Brij tells her that he wants to meet Sushma once. Jyoti asks him to give her one good reason? Brij tells her he wants his family back 😡🤢😡 He tells her that he realizes that after everything he had done to her, even a lifetime of repentence would be inadequate. But he wants one more chance.

Jyoti refuses, saying that after beating up someone, a mere apology would by no means compensate for it. She points out to him that he's already had several opportunities to clean up his act, which he didn't use. How can she believe that he has changed? (Indeed!!!) He doesn't deserve more opportunities, just punishment. Brij asks her to give it, and Jyoti tells him that it's not up to her, and that it can only be given by HIM. Brij sits down and starts coughing up blood, and Kabir tells Jyoti that that punishment is already being meted - he has TB, and that too @ a very advanced stage. Jyoti looks @ him, just slightly more sympathetic.

Brij comes to Vashisht house and tells CM that he wants to repent for all the bad he's done. CM realizes her secret's about to be exposed and gets the security to get rid of him. Before he can be taken away, he screams out Pankaj's name, which Pankaj hears from his room.

Brij tells Jyoti that he'll leave - he has something to do for her. Next scene is @ the Vashisht mansion, where security struggle w/ Brij to stop him from entering, while Brij yells that he has to see Pankaj, and Bhairavi is adamant that he doesn't. Pankaj asks who it is.

So Jyoti did resign, and followed it up by instantly trying to get herself more assignments @ the paper. That was fast, and is she impulsive!!! For her sake, I hope that she ends up w/ only one of the full time jobs: either she relents and rejoins Bhagya-da, or she gets the paper job, but not both. Or else, while she will have more money, she'll also have double work, and all that entails.

I liked Kabir promoting Brij for that construction job, but Kabir should keep his friendship w/ Brij completely separate from his friendship w/ the Sharmas. His visit to Jyoti's place was surreal, but unlike the last time, I'm glad Deepu stood up to him. He would have made more sense had he told him that they don't want the friend of a thug like Brij anywhere in Jyoti's or their own company, instead of re-hashing what he thinks Jyoti should have done. After all, he had no trouble w/ Kabir @ the gb function.

I'm glad that Deepu finally took the bold & sensible step of accepting Mahesh-ji's offer. His response on commitments made a lot more sense than Padma's arguments the other day. Must say it sounded a very metrosexual job for a guy - interior designer? 😲😉😆 But the reaction of his family, particularly Padma, was surreal: in their mind, it seems that it's better for him to sit @ home & sulk, and be of no use. I'm glad Deepu took this step. If Padma decides to remove him from the house (incidentally, since when is it hers - it's in KK's name, but in reality, KK considers Jyoti the rightful owner), that blame will be Padma's, not Deepu's, Poonam's nor Mahesh-ji's. So suddenly, Deepu has his FIL's job, and Brij has the construction job. Incidentally, while Padma's reaction was expected, I found the responses of KK, Dadi & Sushma odd. On a different note, since Padma is now pissed of @ Kabir again, the question of her buttering him up again in order to get a job for Deepu is now out of the question. Similarly, Jyoti won't have to sweat over the commitment Padma squeezed from her on getting a job for Deepu - a ridiculous demand given that Jyoti has enough trouble finding a job for herself.

The final scene of Kabir forcing Jyoti to see Brij's condition was pathetic. Even if she sees Brij bleed, Jyoti's reaction should be - so what? And Brij dying would be the result of his own deeds - neither Jyoti nor Sushma owe him anything. Once Kabir is done w/ this, Jyoti should tell him that she's accepted more work @ the paper, and that their work together is done.

The precap & promo - I really hoped Brij ain't as ham handed in doing what's shown, and that he do it more deftly. Since he knows the conspiratorial behavior of Bhairavi, he should seek to go around her by arranging a private meeting w/ Pankaj (maybe w/ the help of Kabir) where he reveals all to him. Pankaj then hopefully confronts CM on this, and publicly disgraces her in front of the entire family, and defangs her for good.
