Mahesh-ji knew CM's true nature when Jyoti revealed everything to her. Deepu should have, instead of listening to Jyoti, asked CM to leave and Jyoti to come, and once Jyoti arrived, security should have been asked to keep the Vashisths out. Also, what is it w/ him that when Jyoti is talking, cat gets his tongue? Didn't Jyoti overhear what Prabha's bhabi had to say, and how Deepu was the object of ridicule among his in-laws for not waiting for Jyoti? Doesn't the honor of her family mean nothing to her? While I liked Jyoti @ the end, the first part was just more of her insufferable self-flaggelation

CM lacks brains: if I were her, I'd have told Jyoti that she tricked me into letting Sudha attend, as well as attending w/ her family. The time for Uday & Sudha to oppose that was before, but since they too had allowed themselves to get sucked into CM's condition and more shamefully, accept Jyoti's sacrifice, they have no business opposing her now. CM should have asked Jyoti - why was it so important that the Vashisths attend, to the point that Jyoti herself would skip the wedding, hurting other family members? Dont' the Vashisths have a right not to attend? And the reason given by CM originally was specious - had she told KK that due to their yearlong deception, they no longer had any relationship w/ the Sharmas and didn't wish Deepu well, and therefore, nobody (including Uday & Sudha) would attend, that would have been fine. Where was the need to demand Jyoti's exclusion?

On Monday, I know Uday & Sudha will stay, but I do hope that they'd leave if they have any sense of decency: this is almost like the time Uday agreed to marry Neelam, and on the last day, eloped w/ Sudha. I don't blame him for the latter, but I do blame him for the former. Similarly, here, I blame Uday & Sudha for quietly acquiescing to CM's condition, rather than telling her flat out from the start that they are attending, no matter what.

The other reason for Poonam to be upset was Deepu's complete focus on Jyoti, instead of her.

Reading more and more on the serials, I think most of serials are made with non metro's audience in mind. I am yet to come across so obedient younger generation (son and daughters) as shown in the serials. All serial are overbearing with characters that will cause a family to split in days rather weeks. Supreme commander (main villain) and director think and get away with a killing. I don't think such situation are true in real life and if indeed true than directors should use serial to help such helpless Naris (like Jyoti) to show other ladies a way rather wavering endlessly on wishes and discretion of villains. Time for new order and bunch of new serials that can sweep the trps off such stupid thinking. I think we as audience are waiting for some good timepass serials but director/producer are not coming out of rotten thinking. Showing shady home politics with little substance and tons of remarriages, not sure where they are heading???
