Okay, I've seen opinions wishing that Jyoti isn't pregnant, but from the synopsis, we know that more likely than not, she is. If that's the case, which of the above do you want to see happen?

it may sound horrible and though people don't plan on them [but these aren't people, they're charaters in a drama!], she should have a miscarriage.
she doesn't need a child right now and there's no reason to abort, she would've conceived the child in a socially accepted way where as sushma's news was initally overshadowed with doubt. and to adopt the baby out would probably be too painful and add to her stress, though one could argue that a miscarriage would have the same effect.
i just don't think she needs this right now. kind of typical of a drama though isn't it? a girl can never find out she's pregnant in normal circumstances. i bet meenal also finds out she's pregnant since she's in the prime position - at her maayka with no sign of returning to her sasuraal...might as well complicate matters with a baby! sudha's probably the only one who won't have a child in the drama since, she may potentially be able to pull off having a happy marriage. babies are for people in failed marriages!

Jyoti will keep the baby and show everyone what she can do as a single mother. Eventually the truth will come out about how Brij lied, but if I were Jyoti, I wouldn't go back to a man who believed a stranger over his own wife.

but who do you believe if said wife has hidden the truth when you have placed all your trust in her and she knows this?

But he didn't even really give her a chance to explain ... i would want a chance to tell my side of the story.

First things first - I disagree w/ anyone who thinks that Jyoti should be a single mom. If Pankaj cannot reconcile w/ her, she should adapt out the baby. This is b'cos a kid needs both parents, and the birth parents aren't necessarily the best. Having babies isn't something just for the self-gratification of either parent - if they can't both provide a stable environment for the kid, they need to adapt it out to a couple that can.

On the point about whether Pankaj should have given Jyoti an opportunity to tell her side, it's a fair point, but if Pankaj has just discovered that Jyoti has been witholding from him for over a year a basic family fact such as the number of siblings she has, Pankaj has a right not to trust her. And if he doesn't trust her to tell the truth, then whether or not she gets to tell her side of the story is moot. Telling ones side only makes sense when there is a good chance that it will be factored in while determining the truth. Pankaj did go by Jyoti's allegation that Brij was deceptive, and kicked him out on that basis - from that standpoint, Jyoti scored a victory. But on whether Jyoti herself is trustworthy, Pankaj can determine that independent of Brij.

That said, if I were Jyoti, I'd refuse to go back even if Pankaj relented, citing CM. In the past, she took all of CM's abuse out of her love for Pankaj, but now, she needs to tell him that if he wants her back, he needs to choose. Not just for her sake, but b'cos CM's been making everybody's life miserable - Jyoti's, Uday's, Sudha's and embarrassing MN&G in the process.

Not sure I agree with this - after Jyoti's mother died, his father married the mausi - thinking that she would always treat them the same, but not the case. And, there is no guarantee when one adopts out that the new parents will be good to them - sometimes the parents are good, but then the children wonder about their real parents and why they were adopted out.
I really think that the real mother should keep the child as the love of a real mother is better than that of anyone else.

something that i don't understand is that why is CM in charge of the house when it should be pankaj's parents. i mean she's pan's mums sister so why should she be the boss of the house unless she was the bahu of vashist parivar but her husband past away. i dont understand why pan's parents never say anything when CM is always talking nonsense about jyoti and sudha or anyone else!

I think CM is not the mum's sister but the father's younger brother's wife.

Coz if she is the mom's sister should she not be called maasi?

Maybe I missed some key episode somewhere.

no, you're right mahmansma, CM is not pankaj's mum's sister, she is in fact his dad's deceased brother's wife. so in a way, she is originally a vashisht parivaar bahu too.
