Sushmas Motive?

totally agree! i have been thinking this ever since she was silently remembering all the trauma she went through at night...her flashbacks included how he used to drink, slap her around, how Thakkar told her he had paid Brij so much money etc...

Also remark she had mentioned to Jyoti the night before that she will not let any trouble befall her anymore. Brij had threatened that he will go to Jyoti's home with his story, and Sushma obviously didn't want that. There are some clues to her behavior too:

. Instead of being more angry towards Jyoti, which she would have been if she believed Brij, she has started calling her "aap" and Jyoti didi again.
. She was not rude to anyone while leaving her home, and wasnt extraordinarily bitchy about her family when she went back to Brij

I think she is confused and wants to find out the truth for herself. Wants to see everything unfold and convince her 100% that Brij is such a fraud.

I think so too. I think that Sushma is this time trying to work from a position of strength, and going to instead of working, just be a stay-at-home wife and see how Brij takes it. Not too much housework, no more being his servant, but seeing whether he takes responsibility towards running the house or letting it rot, now that he can't manipulate her. Once she finds out a resumption of his behavior, she probably has a plan to cripple him before leaving him.

Given what she knows about Brij, which is even uglier than what even Jyoti knows, she is trying to trap him into exposing what he did to everyone, rather than her having to admit it and looking like a victim.

And some of what she said at home may just as well have been acting.

i thnk so too..after everything tht she remembered tht nite,its extremely stupid of even her to go bbk and tell brij hw mahaan he is..i thnk she is trying to trap him into accepting everything..

I do agree I've thinking since last couple days... you might be right!!! she might be acting.

I hope you guys are right or else it would just have been a waste of so many episodes of trying to uncover Brij's truth.

For today's episode, Brij looks like he has the upper hand, since he's revealed to her that he knows that she slept w/ Thakkar, w/o revealing that it was he who contrived to get this done. At the end, Sushma was at his feet, begging him not to reveal that to Padma.

Whatever plan Sushma has better work, or I'll bet she'll end up dead.

I agree, they better do something quick!
