Johnoh come on, why all this romance again and again and again. I thought jyoti was gonna carry her life on as a single now, or the script been changed?
this is bullshit, now you guys love him, but soon he'll be hated. First when Brij was introduced, ppl loved him, Pankaj introduced, people loved him, now third one, oh come on, a bit unrealistic...? how come every male is in love with Jyoti? I bet if Pankaj hadn't found jyoti first, his 2 brothers (udhay and the other guy) would be in love with her too. hahah
jyoti isn't meant to be happy lol, this is one of the most depressing dramas ever, when have they ever shown a good storyline or a comedy sequence which is actually funny and does not involve Dadi teaching Deepu's wife to cook & then bursting out laughing. ANY kind of depressing story you can think of will be/has been shown in Jyoti, lighten up producers.
jyoti is the fault to it all, she didn't tell pankaj about brij until he threatened to reveal it himself, and now with this guy, she has 2 affairs to hide lol. next it'll be 4, 5, 6,7,8,9, 10, 11 .... hahaha.
Sorry to offend people who like this, but it's the truth.
If you wanna see a perfectly balanced show watch Baa Bahu aur Baby. It had actual comedy, drama, and most of all it was real, relatable, never over the top, never making one guy the hero and the rest are loosers, doesn't insult viewers intelligence. Has no one ever seen that show??? (im talking of the 2005-2008 episodes only).
The reason characters are loved and hated is based purely on what they do, rather than who they are. Remember that there was once a time when even Bhairavi was quite lovable - this was b4 she met Jyoti, and when she was enamored w/ Sudha, but encouraged Uday to pursue Devika. Reason people started hating her was when she started displaying an attitude about Jyoti, and obstructing Uday's attempts to warm up to Sudha. Similarly, during the Uday-Sudha saga leading up to their marriage, Jyoti herself was universally unpopular here, due to her playing second fiddle to cm and doing what she could to facilitate Uday's marriage to Neelam. In fact, at one level, it's almost karma what happened to her.
Yeah, Brij & Pankaj were loved based on what they did. When everybody was taxing Jyoti, it was Brij who lent her Rs1000 to enable her to get over things, and it was him that she went to for comfort. But once it was hinted that he was cheating on her, or tried to take advantage of her, his popularity went down. As for Pankaj, reason he was loved was that he pulled Jyoti out of trouble w/ cm, and during the discovery of Devika, when KK himself refused to allow Sudha back into the house, it was he who offered Sudha their guest room where she could stay until her parents accepted her back. In fact, people were even supportive of Pankaj when he kicked Jyoti out, noting that Jyoti had it coming on her for lying about Sushma & Brij. The turning point was when Jyoti's pregnancy was revealed to him, but he refused to accept her, and followed up by divorcing her. At that point, people started hating him.
In the current case, Jyoti has been quite honest about the fact that Pankaj was her hubby to Kabir. So far, she's just started regarding him as a friend, so she's had no reason to confide in Kabir as yet. Yeah, once he tells her that he loves her, she does need to tell him that she's pregnant w/ Pankaj's baby, and everything in the past about Pankaj, Brij & Sushma. Just like she opened up completely to Mahesh-ji, w/ the result that Mahesh-ji and Prabha-ji respect her even despite Poonam's instigations, similarly, she should tell Kabir about this history, so that she doesn't have any mystery to hide from him, and so that she is blackmail proof from Brij.
If you want comedy, how have you been missing Kabir's stunts - like him sneaking up to Jyoti in the theater, or him entertaining those kids, or him standing behind Jyoti cheering when the girls persuade her to join them for a movie. It's Kabir's entry that's been lightening things up. Sorry, but when Dadi makes a big deal about Poonam's pallu flying off while she's cooking, I didn't really find it all that amusing.
I agree w/ you on one thing - they've never shown Jyoti completely happy: always, it's something or the other w/ some member of her families that keeps her tense. If it wasn't Sudha, it was Sushma, if it wasn't Sushma, it was MN&G (after the hadsa), if it wasn't them, it was Uday-Sudha, if it wasn't Uday-Sudha, it was Brij, if it wasn't Brij, it was Deepu's marriage. Only now does it seem that everything w/ every member of her family is under control: Sudha is happily settled, Sushma has recovered and has (unbeknownst to her) chalked out a good plan for her baby (adapt it out) and herself (study until she gets to the point that she is independent). Yeah, now Deepu is out of his job, but there is nothing Jyoti can do about it, despite what she told Padma very reluctantly. I would like to see some parallel romances b/w Kabir & Jyoti as well as Uday & Sudha. They used to do it well w/ Uday & Sudha when they were single, but stopped doing it once they gotten married.
I understand why you are depressed w/ it, and don't blame you for preferring another serial to this. But those who were watching this from pretty early are hooked on to this. Now that everything in the original synopsis - until the point of Jyoti being kicked out while pregnant - is fulfilled, one hopes that they show things returning to normal in Jyoti's life. Some have speculated that at the end of this serial, Jyoti will die and donate her eyes to Pankaj. I hope that's not in the CV plans.
