Ok let me say at the very outset that some of you may not agree with this but I have to write this anyway...
I was in love with the character of Prithvi - you know the one who spoke straight, had a mind of his own, hated lies and liars, was not afraid of anything and did exactly what he wanted to do.
I realise that characters progress in a story but this is the first time that I have come across a hero (not an anti-hero mind you) regressing. I guess eventually (before they wrap up the serial) his character will again revert to above mentioned qualities, but in the meantime this new version of Prithvi (who also has a new name - Arjun) is beginning to anger me! He has progressively become a caricature from a character, that I am not able to take it.
After coming to Delhi the character started losing its focus - became somewhat weaker in the sense that he really got angry over silly things, was fooled too easily all the time by Akash - but all that was bearable.
But now in this new track he is losing all those values that made Prithvi so special - his strong sense of right and wrong, his unwillingness to take orders from anyone but Datta and then Meera.
Coming to Meera - this woman had to really work so hard to win his heart and trust - she literally had to stand up against the world, stop her own wedding, and almost down a bottle of poison before Prithvi gave his heart and soul completely to her.
But DB seems to have won Prithvi's trust in a matter of a few days! So how much of a fool does that make Prithvi! He is so idiotic that he is not willing to easily trust an honest woman but considers a land mafia head who keeps giving confusing signals about wanting to find her husband completely trust-worthy!
CV's where is our Prithvi? Please ask Arjun to search for Prithvi instead of Ishwar Pandey - no one wants IP back... not even his own wife! But all of us fans want Prithvi back. So pretty please!
