i was just thinking that the names of the characters in the show are quite symbolic.. firstly the meanings of the name are

PRITHVI means Earth

MEERA means Light

AKASH means Sky

so symbolically the earth remains in darkness until the light reaches the earth.. and the light will originate from the sky but will eventually belong to the earth..
