Written Update For June 25th, 2009

Hope you guys enjoy it, pardon the mistakes and lemme know if you guys like/dislike anything so i can keep improving these updates 😊

Recap

Vicky telling Jugni that his brothers were acting weird. Jugni saying that sister in laws were acting weird as well. Flashback of Simran telling her not to lift heavy things, and then her doing her ritual on Jugni. Surjeet telling her not to cook. Manjit tell her to get down from the bed and to rest. Vicky thinking about Jatinder telling him to pick a finger and Balwinder telling him to pick shorts or dress. Then Vicky blames Jugni for a misunderstanding

Bhalla House

We see Maninder sneaking into the house. Balwinder says you are here. Maninder says yes, but if you want me to go back I can. Balwinder says we didn't call you here to send you back. Jatinder asks if he brought it. Maninder asks what. Balwinder says OYE. Maninder says oh yah, I brought it, Jati keep the door open I will get it. Then we see Maninder walking in with a beautiful crib ! Jatinder says this is real nice, our simmy will look nice in it! Maninder asks Simmy? Balwinder says that Jatinder named his niece SImmy now grab this and come behind me. Maninder tells the same to Jatinder so Jatinder picks it up and carries it. They all quietly sneak around the house trying to get to their destination. Vicky comes up behind them, he sees them sneaking around, then he looks at his watch, and calls out to them. They all turn around and look scared and guilty, then they look at the crib and back up at Vicky again.Vicky walks toward them, Balwinder says come come lets go. Vicky turns on the light and they stop again, and then they walk in front of the crib to hide it but Vicky asks what it is. Balwinder asks Maninder what it is, Maninder tells Jatinder to tell what it is, Jatinder tells Vicky to tell them what it is. Vicky says this is a crib for a kid. They all say ooooooh and start playing with it. Vicky then asks what it is doing here. Balwinder says great question, Maninder is the only one who could answer that. Maninder look at Balwinder thnking what am I going to say. Maninder then tells Jatinder to tell them what it is doing here. Jatinder asks Vicky to tell them what it is doing here. Vicky says that is what I am asking too, What is it doing here. Jatinder say oohh im not telling either, I'm asking as well. Vicky says if we keep asking who will tell then, tell this at least who brought it here. Balwinder and Maninder look around as to what to say but Jatinder says Maninder paji brought it. Maninder look at Jatinder as if going to kill him. Vicky asks what was the need to bring this. Maninder ask Balwinder the same question. Balwinder says that he did not bring it, he was returning it. They guys agree to that statement. Vicky says return it, then who brought it. Maninder signals he doesn't know. Balwinder says tha Surjeet brought it. Jatinder agrees, Maninder looks confused again as to why he keeps getting stuck but reluctantly agrees that it was his Surjeet that brought it. Vicky asks why tho. Maninder asks Balwinder why she brought it. Balwinder says she said tha she wanted a crib here, Maninder left and she brought it. Maninder says yes yes, I was going to return it now, I'll strictly tell Surjeet that there is no need for this. Balwinder says you will yell at her. Vicky says no need to yell at her, do this, return it tomorrow morning and at night the stores are closed. Jatinder says that that is exactly what he came down to tell Maninder paji, (to Vicky) you go rest, I'll handle everything down here. Maninder and Balwinder give Jatinder the mean look (the kind that moms give to their kids when they say or do something wrong but there are people around so she can't say anything instead she gives you "the eye"-im sure we all have been on the receiving end of that at least once in our lives.). Jatinder tells Vicky to go to sleep, then he steps in front of the other brothers and asks them how well he handled the situation. Maninder is rolling up his sleeves read to beat Jatinder up. Jatinder says that Vicky didn't get any clue that we bought this for him. Maninder goes to strangle Jatinder. But Balwinder holds him back and says don't yell/hurt him, go yell at Surjeet. Jatinder points and laughs at Maninder and Balwinder laughs as well and then says ok lets go.

One of the Brother's Bedroom

Tractors are shown its morning. Back at the house the brothers are sitting together on the floor near the end of the bed, Balwinder in the middle, with Jatinder and Maninder on both sides of him w/ their backs against his shoulders. Balwinder is shown thinking about Simmy. Telling SImmy to slow down,(he reaches out) that simmy could get hurt. Then we hear a baby crying. Maninder is thinking to himself, simmy you got hurt, its ok, we'll go eat jalebi. Jatinder thinking to himself, Simmy don't eat jalebi because your teeth will get bad (he then touches his tooth) look what I brought you, a doll. Balwinder then says chote, Maninder turns around and say paji, Balwinder asks if he has tears in his eyes. Maninder says I see tears in your eyes too. Balwinder says they are in his (Jatinder's) eyes too. Jatinder asks one day simmy will get married and go away from us huh. Balwinder says no no I will not let her leave my sight. Jatinder says she will have to get married once. Balwinder says that yes, but we will get her married somewhere nearby that way she will not b far from us. Maninder says you are truly great, what a great idea you have, to get her married we need a good boy, we don't have a boy anywhere nearby. Jatinder says if not nearby then somewhere ( didn't get what this somewhere was), you know Amarjit's boy. Balwinder says he is 2 or 3 yrs old. Jatinder says so what, our simmy isn't even one day old. Maninder says he is right, the boy is good and he has nothing wrong with him, I have never seen him drinking or smoking. (they are talking about a 2 or 3 year old boy right?) Balwinder says good idea but we have a problem, the boy's father, I told you not to beat him last week, but you kept hitting him and hitting him, he took a box of fruits and you hit him so much that his face swelled up. Jatinder says you know that three days ago he hit him from the back to because he cut Maninder cut his kite. Balwinder says he only cut your kite not your neck. Maninder says that I'Balwinder cuts him off and says that we need to learn something, we are from the girls side, we have to bow down sometimes. Maninder says how was I supposed to know at that time that we will be from the girl's side, just tell me what to do now. Balwinder says that we will have to fix the broken relations. Maninder says how is our relations messed up. Balwinder says not ours, I'm talking about ours w/ Amarjit. Maninder says oohh. Jatinder says we should go right now and do it and ask for forgiveness too. Balwinder says that you are right, lets go lets go. Maninder says should I get the sword. Balwinder says no, we are going to apologize not fight. Maninder says what if he doesn't accept. Balwinder how will he not, take out the sword then, even his father will apologize then.

Bhalla Living Room

Manjit tells all of them that the children are coming this evening itself. They all say WHAT?!?! Balwinder says then this means that what Manjit overheard yesterday about surprising us, is going to happen today. Maninder nods. Surjeet asks how could it be so soon. Simran says we us heard it yesterday, and today the kids are coming. Jatinder says everything happened so fast, it seems like it was just yesterday we heard this news. Balwinder says that we did hear it yesterday. Maninder says when I went to town yesterday it seemed like everything had changed. Surjeet says that we can't tell by looking at her that the children are coming today, Manjit says that what I thought too but Jugni told me herself, not like I overheard it, it happened face to face. Balwinder says if that is the case, then we should not waste time, there is a lot to do. They all agree. Manjit says we have to decorate. Simran says even she has a lot to do, she has to bring taveezes and pray. Maninder says we have to get the dholi's. Surjeet says we should call Odihe ma ( who is that?). Balwinder says yes call Odihe ma too, everyone get to work, oh and remember only Manjit knows this, we do not, so when we find out again, act surprised. Jatinder sits down and then gets up and screams. Balwinder says not right now. Jatinder says I was not getting surprised, I got pricked by a needle (he holds up the needle). Balwinder says leave it, and get going. They all are shown decorating the place. At one point Jatinder is climbing up the ladder and putting balloons on the rails when the ladder falls and Maninder grabs it to get Jatinder down and we see Jatinder holding on for his dear life hanging there. (it was quite a hilarious scene.) Vicky comes in and sees all the decorations and trys to figure out what is happening. Nobody is telling him. He grabs Jatinder and puts him down on the floor. Simran is shown praying. Balwinder brings Odihe Ma. Jatinder runs into her he says hi and sorry. Then Maninder does the same.

Jugni's Room

Manjit and Surjeet are cooking in the kitchen. They both then start to feed Jugni. Jugni tries to stop them. They feed her and leave. Jugni is so full. Manjit comes into Jugni's room w/ a plate of food, Jugni leans back in disgust and asks who is it for. And Manjit says its for you, now open your mouth. Jugni says no, and tries to get away, Manjit grabs her and says I made it w/ so much love, now eat it. Jugni says I have don't even have this much room (she holds her thumb and finger together describe the amount). Manjit says ok just eat how much is on this plate. Jugni nods no, then Manjit says ok just eat this much. She nods no again and says I have a pain in my tummy. Manjit asks her pain in your tummy. Jugni nods, then Manjit gets up and cleans her ears and asks her to say it once more, Jugni says the pain has started. Manjit drops the plate, screams and puts her hands on her face in excitement and says the pain has started. She takes Jugni and lays her down on the bed, puts her head on a pillow and then a blanket over here. She says she knows what to do in these types of situations, stay here, I'll be right back. Manjit leaves and comes right back with Odihe Ma and the other sister in laws. She tell Odihe ma that Jugni has a pain in her stomach. Jugni starts to say that she is ok , but Manjit cuts her off and says be quiet I got this. Odihe Ma says you all can leave, I am here, I got this, no need to worry, You girls go.

Outside Jugni's Room

The girls leave and then we see the boys coming up to her door and listening in. Jatinder says we will hear a baby crying. Balwinder says yes, but we can hear laughing too. Maninder says tell us do we start the dhol when we hear laughing or crying. Balwinder says whatever it may be, it doesn't matter, as long as it comes from a baby, but as soon as we hear it, start the dhol. Maninder tells the drummer to be ready to start as soon as he says to, and if he isn't ready then he will beat him. We see Vicky walking by and he does a double take and looks at the decorations and the drummer and goes up to his brothers and asks what is going on. Balwinder says leave it, first you hid it from us and now you are asking us. Vicky says hide what. Maninder says leave it, no need now, we will find out in a little bit, everything will come out in front of all. Vicky asks what will come out. Jatinder makes a cradle w/ his arms and start to move them back and forth as if rocking a baby and makes a baby crying noise. Vicky then says baby?!? But how, where will this kid come from? Balwinder says leave it, we know that Jugni is about to be a mother. Vicky looks shocked out of his mind and says what, she is about to be a mother, no no, this is not the case. Balwinder says be quiet, let us listen. Vicky says no no listen to me, Balwinder says be quiet and puts his ear to the door. Vickys say but'Maninder tells him to hush. Vicky look around, but Jatinder says hush this time. Vicky says this time I didn't say anything and Vicky that was in case you were going to. (I just love Jatinder character). Vicky puts his hand on his head fed up, Vicky says come here and listen. Vicky says me, and then Jatinder pulls him close.

Jugni's room

Odihe Ma says that I think there is a misunderstanding, nothing about you shows that you are pregnant. Jugni looks at her shell shocked. She says KID?!? Whose kid, what kid, I think you are misunderstood, somebody might be pregnant in another house, but not here. Odihe Ma says that they all brought me here. Jugni says look I am ok, you just go. Manjit is in the kitchen and we hear a baby crying she screams bache agaye (kids are here). Jugni hears this and runs to the door. We see Baujis feet and then a girls feet and Jugni gets up and yells Kids are here. Balwinder says kids are here, The boys all celebrate and Vicky is just standing there. They guys tell the dholi to start playing the dhol they throw confetti around. Manjit says the kids voices were supposed to come from inside, why are they coming from outside. Jugni excitedly tells Odihe Ma the kids are here and then runs out the door past the boys and Balwinder asks where she is going. Vicky tries to stop her but he looks confused. The boys go after her d0ing bhangra. Jugni runs past Simran and Surjeet. Simran says she just had kids and she is already running, then Sirman faints. Manjit and the boys come by the stairs, then we see the girls legs and Bauji's leg and a boys legs (Bauji is carrying the boy) Then the other two sister in laws come, vickky comes, they all look surprised and confused. They look at one another, they show the kids and then they say THESE KIDS?!?! The little girl is looking around disgusted (I think she may be a bit snobby). Vicky's face is shown, then Bauji and the little boy, and then the girl's, then the families. And it ends there.

Precap

Vicky says Pinky. Jugni says yes our daughter Pinky. Vicky says yes, did you know Balwinder paji already had a rishta ready for her. Jugni says yes, and we should start looking for a girl for our sonu. Vickys say really, she says yes. Vicky says do you of a girl who is prettier than you but isn't as annoying as you. Jugni says so what you are trying to say is that I bother you, then fine, no need to talk to me, she then walks away and crosses her arms.

Summary

Maninder sneaks into the house with the crib and they all try to sneak it elsewhere. Vicky catches them and asks them what they are up to. They all try to go around the true answer and finally make up a story that Surjeet brought it and Maninder was going to return it. Vicky leaves and they all take it. Then we see the boys thinking about SImmy and how they will take care of her, they are all sad. Jatinder says taht one day she will have to get married and go away. Balwinder says that i will never let her leave my eye sight. So they decide that they will get her married nearby, preferrably with Amarjit's son. but there is a problem, Maninder had beat up Amarjit last week and three days ago. THey decide they should go ask for forgiveness. Manjit tells them that Jugni said the kids are coming today. They all start to decorate the house for the arrival of the kids. Manjit tries to feed Jugni, Jugni says no she is having pains in her stomach. Manjit brings Odihe Ma to check her out, Odihe Ma tells the girls to leave. The boys are outside the door trying to listen for crying or laughing so they can start to celebrate as soon as the baby is born. Vicky comes and asks what is going on, they tell him he does need to hide it anymore and that they know Jugni is pregnant. Odihe ma says you don't show symptoms of being pregnant. Jugni says there is a misunderstanding and that she is not pregnant. Manjit hears crying and yells the kids are here, Jugni hears this and gets up and runs to the window and sees the kids she yells the kids are here and runs out the door. THe boys were outside celebrating upon hearing her say the kids are here but then went after her as she ran out the door. Finally they realize that the kids that were coming are not Jugni's soon to be kids but some kids Bauji was going to bring with him.
