My old story:

I use to work at a shoe store during college (called Puma, we only only sold Puma shoes and clothes nothing else but Puma Brand), and customers would always bring pictures of shoes and ask do you have this ....or that...I would say yes or no etc..

THen one day, a guy came in...He says, "Sir Do you have the Nike Air shoes", and he shows me a picture of Nike Airs...I look at the picture and told him, "Let me go and check my back stock"....

I come out like 10min later after I take some water and chat with my co-workers...Then I told him No..Sorry we ran out of NIke Air Shoes..All we have is Puma...

Then he asked..."When will you get more"....I couldnt hold it in...I had to run away....This guy was serious......

Another old story:

A guy walks into our store talking away on his cell phone, and comes up to me and asks, "what store is this".....Mind you, there are Puma signs all over the stores, shirts, shoes, pants and even on the walls.....I just paused and stated PUma...

I have soo much more funny stories....Of customers it was nice and fun...😃....Awesome job, working at the mall was nice...😉

I know!! I keep hearing such stories all the time... Sometimes people are just too absorbed with whatever they have on their minds that they make these silly mistakes. BTW, thanks for sharing!

another funny story:

A co-worker was working on our display of shoes...Then a customer comes up to him (A foreigner)..."Excuse me..Do you have this shoe in this picture here".....My coworker turns around and looks at the picture.....he replies, "Do you see the shoe on this shoe display""?......There is a 1min pause as the guy is looking..."No I dont see it sir....".....Then my co worker replies, "So do you want me to answer your question still"?

lol..At first I was like lol..but it was kinda rude...But i joke around with allot of customers too, i guess you can get a feeling of how they will take a joke, so they are usually nice and happy to go along....

Hey Arun...that was kool...i mean thx for sharing something as such...it was fun to read....true stories ye......

do post more if you can.....and hey....don't post anymore under this thread......either you edit your 1st post and add in more stories there....or simple open a new topic and post new stories there...coz if you post more stories under this thread....not everyone might see it....since they would think that all posts are just comments by other memebers except the 1st post.....hope i'm not confusing ya....so get what i mean?

First off, thanks!

Secondly, that's a funny story!! But I can't believe that people actually come in with pictures of the shoes they want to buy. Funny! 😆😆 Well, I know some places that would fire their employees for talking like that with customers - too strict about this but it's funny indeed.

haa Bhaiya, you are soo true..

I was always a role model at my job..Any new person we hire, they would make me train them. I always placed customers first..

I remeber during busy busy seasons, customers would always be happy to work with me because i could mitigate trouble/problems very quickly...I think these skills have really helped me to do good in my career now...

All in all, being cool/calm at all times is good out of work, and in work,😃.
