Hi Stuti. I am back again to read this tremendous work of yours after a fairly long time of missing out on the last 2 chapters that you have posted.

I missed you! 🥺🤗
Chapter 57
So true to her words Salima arranged the boat ride for our royal couple. I loved how you described the whole setting with these small-small details. It adds on well to the whole picture and that even so beautifully. Salima teasing both Jalal and Jodha was fun. If she was not married to Jalal, I would have surely liked her as the elder sister or maybe even as a bhabhi of Jalal, helping him out in his love life.
>> So glad that you caught the small details, these are not very relevant for the plot but takes most of the time to write.
Yes, Salima is actually a 'bhabi' figure to Jalal; they have a very pure and platonic relationship. 😃 (That reminded me my another fic The Riddle of Death, which is a modern day fic and Salima was Jalal's sis-in-law there😆 I request you to find and read that one too if you get time 😃)
Both Jalal and Jodha are excited about the boat ride and seems like are meeting each other after almost a week. The extra efforts they put in their dressing, Jalal leaving behind his guards... all explain their anticipation for spending some private time together. And we get a glimpse of caring, possessive and romantic Jalal all together during the ride. The way you described the nature and river, for a second I thought I was witnessing it all. Their kiss, their dreams and fantasies of togetherness and their confession are all adorable, romantic as well as elegant. I just loved it.
>> This part was one of my favorite to write☺️❤️
But for me, the highlight was Abdul and Moti. Abdul's plight and seeking refuge which he, for now, temporarily find in the company of the beautiful lady. I was so looking forward to this. The way Moti can relate to Abdul and his loss seems like a perfect start of something between them if there would be something. He will finally get someone to understand him and not pity him.
>> I always wanted to see something between Abdul and Moti; now that Abdul has lost a vital part of his identity when he lost his limb, and Moti has lost the love of her life, they will connect with each other in such a way that no one else will be able to. I don't know how it will go till the end, but I want to build a separate story for this two.😳
Now the story is moving forward. It would be interesting to read how Jalal handles this communal unrest and the conspirators behind it while still maintaining harmony amongst his subjects and local administrators who are used as pawns against the state. Jodha's dilemmas about religious differences are justified and seem like she is gonna play an important role in this situation of crisis.
>> To be honest this part of Jodha;s dilemma is the toughest part to write, mostly because even I am practically unable to relate to her in that way. This is Jodha's plight only. But I wish to see her as a icon to rise above all these situations, and try my best to portray her that way.
Haven't read chapter 58 yet. I Will comment after reading.
