KI KHALIL KI MULAQAAT HUI THHI EK BADE HINDU RAJKUMAR KE SAATH'

(Sahib not only stopped the bound noose from doing any damage, he also managed such a manoeuvre that the poor guy was helplessly dragged into the jaws of death)

TABHI WAHAN DOOSRA BADMAASH AAYA, JISKA NAAM THHA RAFTAAR

USNE ZABAAN KHOLI AUR BATAYA KI KHALIL KA HAI YE GHINONA KAARYA

(Immediately the second miscreant appeared there. His name was Raftaar. He let slip that it was Khalil who had sent them for this task)

RAFTAAR KO MAARNA AUR BHI AASAAN THHA, TEENON DUSHMAN HUE TAMAAM

PHIR SAHIB IBRAHIM KE PAAS GAYE KARNE THHE UNKO KAYI AUR KAAM

(Sahib found Raftaar a much easier to target and thus finished off all the three. Then he went and met Ibrahim to carry on with his other tasks)

GUPTCHAR KO BHAARI INAAM PRADAAN KAR SAHIB NE USKO DIYA SAMJHA

'IN PAISON SE DOOSRE SHAHAR MEIN JAAKAR APNE JEEVAN KARO NIRVAAH'

(Sahib gave the informer a large award and gave him some invaluable advice, 'Go and start your life in another city', thereby hinting that he would no longer use his services)

'AKBAR, TUM KO KYA LAGTA HAI? KAUN HAI YE HINDU KUNWAR?'

'KISI KA NAAM HAI MERE ZEHEN MEIN, ABHI PAKKA NAHI HAI MAGAR'

(Akbar, what do you feel? Who do you think this Hindu Kunwar might be?'. 'I do have a name in mind, Ibrahim, but I am not sure yet.')

SAHIB KE ANDAR BADA MANTHAN THHA, KYA SOCHEIN WO SAMAJH NA PAAYE

(Sahib was in a turmoil. He just did not know what to think! As soon as Mahender's name came up, it blew his mind)

SAHIB SOCHEIN KYA YE SACH HAI? KYA MAHENDER ITNA HAI KHILAADI?

KYA SACH MEIN IS GHINONE PRAKARAN MEIN HOGI USKI BHAAGIDAARI?

(Sahib wondered if this can be true that Mahender is such a huge player? Is it possible that he can be involved so deeply in this gory mess!)

PHIR SAHIB NE HEERA KA SOCHA, TOD JAYEGI USKO YE VAARDAAT

KAISE SUNEGI KI JIJI KI MAUT MEIN USKE HI JIJA KA THHA HAATH

(Then Sahib thought of Heera! This revelation would break her! How would she be able to endure the news that her own bother-in-law to be was involved in her sister's brutal death?)

PHIR SAHIB AUR IBRAHIM GHODE PAR SAWAAR HO CHAL DIYE PARNAGARH KI ORE

'KUCHH PEHER RUK JAYEIN KYA AKBAR? THHAKA HUA HOON MAIN ZOR'

(Sahib and Ibrahim mounted their steeds and moved towards Parnagarh. Suddenly Ibrahim said, 'Akbar, can we stop for a few hours? I feel extremely tired')

JAAN GAYE TURANT HI SAHIB, KI IBRAHIM UNKO RAHA HAI CHHED

JHAT SE LAGAAM KO KHEENCHA UNHONE KI BHAGA LEIN BAHADUR KO TEZ

(Immediately Sahib realised that Ibrahim was teasing him. He then pulled at Bahadur's reins in order to escape)

'SAMJHO MERI HAALAT, AKBAR, TUMHARI TARAH MUJHE NA VISHRAAM MILA

SO MERI ICHCHHA HAI KI MAIN BHI SOUN, TAAKI RAHE NA MUJHE KOI GILAAH'

('Understand my situation, Akbar! I am not as well rested as you are. Hence it is my wish that I spend a few hours sleeping so that I don't feel deprived')

SAHIB SHARM SE LAAL HO CHALE, KYA KAREIN VE YE SAMAJH NA PAAYE

(Sahib was blushing furiously. He had no idea how to react. He just kept thanking the Lord that Sayyid and Azzez the prankster was not with them)
