CHAPTER 71

Lalita did a Pranam to jala , jala was looking out from the window , everyone was really busy in the preparations of the wedding , Jalal was enjoying all of this, it has been a long time that he had spent his days lik this without any tension or work jalal turned back to lalita .

Jalal- lalita I want to know something from you. Lalita kept quite , jala continued _ lalita last night Hira begum went to meet someone along with her Dasi Vishkha , I want to know who is he/she . I know she does not... Before Jala could complete sentence lalita went on her Knees.

Lalita- Sehensha it is not hira's fault, they are trapping her she has no idea what a big trap it is. Jalal was really surprised by this reaction , he thought it was a normal matter of secrete charity , but now he can understand that the matter is not that simple.

Jalal- stand up lalita I want to know everything, and you can be assured that I will not judge Hira begum only by your statement. She is my wife, a queen , she is not an oridinary women, so you can be rest assured . Stop crying and tell me wha has happened , do not hide anything .

Lalita was wiping, she controlled herself. She was thinking about many things, she knows how much jalal is possessive about Hira, but she also wants to save ira from all of this . Hira has done a lot for her she never treated her like a Dasi, she treated her as a friend , she had to think about her family as well . Then she took her decision no matter what , she will tell the truth may be Jalal can save Hira she wiped her own tears and started-

Lalita- Sehensha last night Maharani Sa went to meet panchana last night . it has been a week or 10 days they are meeting each other.

Jala- Sat on his bed and said- who is Panchanan? I hav not heard his name before?

Lalita- Panchana and rani Sa were Childhood friends, and there was a time when they both...

Jalal was smoking Hukaa he looked at Lalita and said-They both, What?

Lalita- They both wanted to marry each other, their parents also wanted them to maary each other , but then things have vhanged and Hira Kuwari , became your wife . Jala felt like killing lalita. How dare she say theses things about Hira Begum, but he controlled his anger , and said continue.

Lalita- Sehensha , when Hira Begum got married to you, she was attracted to Panchanan, but after she got married to you she forgot everything. She filled her heart with your love and affection , she forgot about Panchanan . But when she came back to Amber few days back he met her agagin. They meet each other every day, Hira was heart broken , she found a friend in panchanan , but panchana is trying to . Jalal raised his hand ,I will investigate the matter farther , now tell me how he comes to meet her.

Lalita- sehensha Vishakha , she is helping her. I told her many times that it is not right ,but she said there is no harm in meeting in your childhood friend, and hira begum consider her as a friend, so what is wrong in it?

Jalal- Ok I think I have understood the matter a bit , but from now on how jave to take the matter in my hnds, Thank you Lalita giving me this information. And don't worry I will not take any decision until I get to know about the whole matter. Now you can leave , and remember if you tell anyone about this, it will be a punishable offence.

Lalita did a pranam and Left Jalal's room , after she left the room Hira entered the Room, she is back from the temple, she looked at jala ave him Prasad , Jalal touched the sindoor in her forehead, he stretched the Line of Sindoor a bit long .

Jalal- Hira begum you said if you come to know the real reason why the king and queen of Amber have hidden the truth from you, you will think about reconsidering your decision .

Hira- Yes I remember it. I think about it day and night Sehensha why they did it to me?

Jalal- Fine Hira Begum today after lunch you have to attend a meeting, I promise Hira Begum after this I will not force you for anything. Hira did not say anything, but just gave a node of approval. Jalal continued _ Hira Begum do you miss your childhood. Hira did not understand the meaning of this question, but as she is very innocent she said with a smile-

Hira- Childhood is so pure and so innocent . I had a lot of fun and I was a very naughty child.

Jalal(smiled) So was I Bari Ammi and khan Baba they both were on their toes because of me.

Hira- I was a terror in the fort , I remember as a child many times choti maa has bitten me , but she culd not control me .

Jalal- I had childhood friends who was my partner in crime, Adham was a very good friend of mine . Time change and equation changes, and I had to .

Hira- Sehensha I know what you had done , it was your duty as a Sehenhsa. Jalal sat with Hira on his bed.

Jalal- do you remember your childhood friends.? Hira put a finger on her cheek , it makes Hira begum very cut, Jala was lost in her cuteness , Then after few seconds Hira said-

Hira- Sehnsha I had many friends Parvati, Ansuiya lot of friends , few of thm were married, some of them parents moved to other kindomes. Vishakha and alita was also my childhood friends. Both of there parents moved to Amber for work, years latter I met both of them In Agra . I don't know hw hey became a Dasi in your fort. I thought I will ask them, but then I thought let it be, why dig the past .

Jalal- Ok and no male friends? You did not had any male friends? Hira looked at Jalal and said-,

Hira(with a smile) Yes I had a friend called Panchanan he use to trouble me a lot . Jalal was about to ask something when a dasi came

Dasi- pranam Sehensha Raja saahas arranged a Ghumar programme for Shnsha.

Jalal- what is Ghumar?

Hira- It is a form of foke dance . I am sure you will love it Sehensha . Jalal and Hira both left for the programme of Ghumar. Everyone enjoyed the dance, but Jalal was unmindful , but he did not let anyone realize that. After the dance Jalal told Hira that after the lunch Hira have to attend the meeting .

After the lunch Hira entered the room , she was lost in thoughts when she entered the room . In the room Raja Bharmal, Mainawati and jalal was sitting ,and there was another two members . One was Raji Vaidya and the scond person is hira's choti maa . Hira ran to them and she put herhead on the lap of her choti maa and she cried like a little girl. Mainawati was broken to see this, that her daughter is crying in someone else's lap. Choti maa put her hand on Hira's head .Jalal was also feeling bad for her, but he hav to do it, for Hira Begum , he could not see her in this kind of pain.

Jalal- hia begum come sit here along with me. Hira did not wanted to leave her choti maa.

Chotimaa- go there Hira , go to Sehensha . Hira looked at Choti maa with tears in her eyes and then sat beside Jalal.

Jalal- control yourself Hira begum, you are not an ordinary girl , you have to control your emotions. It is bot easy to be a royal . Then jalal looked at Raja Bharmal and continued-

I know technically I can not arrange a trial like this in your kingdom. But I want to thank raja Bharmal for being generous and letting me arrange it.

Bharmal- Hira is my daughter , I can not see her in this pain , so I decided that she should know everything, even if it means the breakage of basic rajpoot Royal rules .

Jalal- Hira begum now let us start. Jalal looked at the raj vaidya . Hira begum is your adopted daughter am I right?

Vaidya- yes , but I love her like my own daughter, and I will love her like that till the end of my life.

Jalal- Then you will want her to b happy , then why you didn't inform her about the biggest truth of her life.

Vaidya- How can I tell her that,?

Jalal- Why you was the only person who would have told her truth. Maha Raja or maha Rani could not say anything , as they were bound because they gave you there word , But what hold you back? raj Vaidya stood still

Hira- baba please tell me everything, I fail to understand anything.

Jalal- Answer her, remember she is not only daughter, but she is one of my queens as well and you owe an answer to her . Raj vaidya did not answer he stood still

Hira- Please tell me everything, I have the right to know everything, as this is the biggest truth of my life .

Jalal- h will not tell you the truth , but your choti maa will. Please Supriay Devi come and ltell the truth. Supriya Devi came ,but her face was coverd with a ghunghat , she did a pranam to jala and Hira and said

Supriya- My husband insisted Raja saa that he did not say anything to Hira ever. Hira was shocked to here this jalal continued with the next question

Jalal- Ok but he is just a Vaidya why Maha Raja sa had to keep his request?

Supriya- Because he gave him his word .

Jalal- And why he had authority .

Supriya kept quite for a while and said, because my husband saved his life .

Jalal- hira Begum your Baba saved Raja saa's life after a war in which h was heavily injured. His wanted to give him something as a reward. He refused it for a time being ,but he said that he will ask for his reward when the time comes. When Raja sa sent you away for your well being in house , only for two years , he told your baba that he have to give you back to him and your baba agreed.

Two years later when Raja Bharmal called him just one ay before your birth day and told him to return you. He said that he is attached to you. He can not live without you .Raja sa got angry and said that he can not do it. But your bab said he did not gave any word to raja sa, instead he gave him a word that he will give him anything he wants, as he saved his life. He insisted that Raja sa will never tell you that you are Raja Bharmal's daughter , the eldest princess of Amber. As a Rajpoot Raja sa gave him his word so he could not deny it. He had to leave all his rights upon his own daughter. He just said that you will be given the training and education like a princess, they both agreed on this agreement . They even signed a document . Jalal clapped and a man came with a document Hira read it .

Jalal- I came to know about it before our marriage, Bari ammi was with me when I came to know about the truth. As your father was bound by his promise I have to give him a word that I will not ell you anything. I had to hide the truth from you . There have been many times Hira Begum , when I thought you should know the truth, but could not, because I was bound to my promise as well . Hira listened to all of this with a lot of patients. Then she stood up, she walked passed her Baba and others. Jalal dismissed the discussion and left the room and went behind Hira. Hira was going to her room Jala hold her hand

Hira- Don't worry sehensha I will not kill myself, I just need sometime with myself. I promise I will not harm myself, I know you have equal right on my life like I have . Relax.

Hira did not open the door of her room for 4 hours everybody was tensed , but finally before Rajkumari Shivani's tilak Hira opened the door of her oom and came out. Lalita was sitting outside her room, she stood up sh got scared when she saw her face, her eyes wre bold red.

Hira- Tell everyone who were in the meeting this afternoon that I wih to meet them and tell them something.

Lalita- Rani sa.

Hir(with a smile) I am fine don't worry . Just inform everyone. Lalita left to inform everyone.

After half an hour everyone gathered in the same room no one can say thatHira went to such mental Troma, she looked beautiful ina Royal blue Lehenga ,and Jweleery to match her cloths . She was indeed looking like a Princess of Rajputana. She sat beside Jalal . Jalal could not take away his eyes . from his beautiful wife . the most beautiful women in the world is his wife. Hira tooka deep breath and started .

Hira- last few months have been roller-coaster ride for me, I wonder how I kept a track of myself during all of this. In the afternoon I came to know why my foster father hidden the truth of my birth from me and why my biological father was forced to hide the truth from me. Bwfore I say anything regarding this , I would like to thank Srhrnsha for making me face the truth. He has helped me to look at the matter in the way which may have not been possible if I was not aware of the truth .Hira looked at jalal and gave her ususal bright smile . Hira again looked at the front and started again-

If I look at the mater as a queen, the Law says that my baba should be punished for hiding the truth from me, it was my basic right to know the origin of my birth, also he took advantage of promise which Raja sa gave him. Vaidya had teras in his eyes, he was standing in front of the queen of Hindustan , not in front of his daughter . he never felt this day will come in his life .He was wiping Hira looked at him for once , then she looked at raja Bharmal.

As a king raja sa has always been a great administrator , he has always thought about the walfare of the pople of mber . He made me marry Sehensha to sve a lot of lives of innocent people of Amber , I was broken when I got married to him, but now I can't thank him enough to force me to marry Sehensha . Like a true Rajpot Raja sa kept his word, may be as a father this decision killed him for 100 times , but he kept with his word like a true king.

If I think about my foster father his blind love made him selfish, he never mistreated m in fact he treated me like a princess , I never felt that I was not his daughter, In fact I admit today as a groen up I was bit spoiled by him.

I admit the initial shock made me clueless, but when I got deeply into it, I can not thank Kanha enough for this. If I was not raised up by my foster parents I would have not been as grounded as I am today . I know what are the problems of the common people of my state, as well as of my country. Now I know why my father chose a normal household to raise me, so that I am awar about the reality .

I consider myself very lucky that I have the two of two parents , I am blessed by kanha that I have two mothers and two fathers, who love me the msst in this whole world. Hira looked at Jalal and said again- Sehensha if you can balance between your Bar Ammi and ammi Jaan why Can't I? Jalal gave a smile to her. So I am not angry with anyone , I thank Kanha for this bless . Hira ended her speech . Everyone was emotional when the speech ended . Choti maa mainawati, dadi sa everyone was crying, and gents were proud of her .

Jalal- I am proud of you Hira begum , you accepted this truth very gracefully, but there is an issue . Hira looked at jalal . Jalal continued Now you know the truth so I assume you would like to be with your original family, but how they will accept you in front of the people of Amber ? Hira did not thought about it, she got worried. Now Bharmal came to Hira and Jalal and sid-

Bharmal- Raj Vaidya and I have decide on it. Tomorrow is Hia Kuwarie's birth day, tomorrow will be a big celebration, and tomorrow I will officially adopt Hira. I know It's occurred that I will adopt my own daughter but I have decided this will be the right way to ive Hira her owner . Hira did not say anything but she touched Raja Bharmal's feet..

Bharmal- God bless you my daughter < I also promise that in my biography tis whole incident will be recorded as it is. I think this will be a true recognition to my daughter. Now let us join Shivani's Tilak .

Everyone joined the celebration of Shivani's tilak, Hira joined her sisters Tilak happily , she was smiling from her heart , Jala felt happy that Hira is so happy, but his mind was on Panchana . This is a matter which need to be settled , Jalal just want to know what Hira feels for Panchanan . Then Jalal can reach to a decision. Tomorrow is going to be a vital day, he will hear the conversation of Hira and Panchanna , the decisive conversation for three of them .
