Lavanya - Thanks for your wishes. Dental bone grafts are mostly done prior to a dental implant which is getting popular as these implants are permanent. But mine was done to strengthen the bone density in my Jaws as explained to me by my periodontist ( Gum specialist ). I had all my wisdom taken out ( teeth of course😆 ) a few years back as they were growing across & not up as they should have & thereby disturbing the adjacent teeth. The impact can leave those chewing teeth unstable and as time goes by the otherwise good healthy teeth might start to give trouble and be a cause to go for early dentures. So this is a preventative procedure, where they cut open the gum, graft in ( pack ) some bone & suture back the gums.

Delhi visit - It's one of the cities on my list along with Agra to be visited in the next 2 to 5 years.TWT 😉

Today is the birth anniversary of PARVEEN SHAKIR one of the most popular woman urdu poets who gave expression to feelings and experiences specific to women.

While reading her poems today,one of her poems reminded me of AKHEERA and I could not stop myself from sharing that poem here.

Sabz madham roshni me surkh aanchal ki dhanak

sard kamre me machalati garm saanson ki mehak

(The room - cold, the light - pale green her red sari's border rustles on her head, as they hug each other embracing closely their warm fragrant breaths warm the room)

Baazuon ke sakht halqe me koi nazuk badan

silvatain malboos per aanchal bhi kuch dhalka hua

(His manly arms now around her soft body, her dress gets rumpled her sari's end slips from her head)

Garmi-e-rukhsar se dehki hui thandi hava

narm zulfon se mulayam ungliyon ki ched chad

(The cold breeze feels warmth from her glowing red cheeks as through her silky tresses he moves his fingers lovingly now)

Surkh honton par shararat ke kisi lamhe ka aks

reshmi bahon me chudi ki kabhi madham dhanak

(For a moment he kisses her red lips as her bangles clink on her soft wrists)

Sharmagin lehjon me dheere se kabhi chahat ki baat

do dilon ki dharkanon me gunjti thi ek sada

(Words of passion uttered modestly now and then desiring each other two hearts beat in unison)
