Azki and the Ribbons fiasco.

🤣 The name Azki is enough to make me laugh... so you can imagine my plight as I read through the rest of it... waiting for Bond... she'll have great fun with this OS

Sandy your first OS is not on Jalal or Chandra or Peshwa Bajirao... it's not on any of the JA fan fictions or on HBAS. It's not on characters from your favourite Tamil novels...

But it's on Cookie and Azeez

OH MY GOD!!!

Azeez couldn't believe his eyes. He rubbed them once more to ascertain that they were not decieving him. He couldn't lift them off the red covered book which was Kuki's diary.

He had bought her a bunch of pretty ribbons for her beautiful hair and had wanted to slip it into her things as a surprise. The diary slid down pulling along with it the pouch of ribbons as well and scattered them.

No matter how much he wanted to be a gentleman like his Ustaad and not look into it, his curiosity had zoomed up and got the better of his principles. It was HIS cookie after all and Ustaad wouldn't know.

Her heartfelt words moved him, but more than that made his spirits soar high. He couldn't believe that from then on, he wouldn't have to run around squishing those awful lemons to please Kuki. She will not go on those dizzy circles and would keep Vrats for him. 'Would his luck be strong enough that one of them be a maun Vrat' he wondred. And he hoped that the 'how long' would be really very long, very very long...

Moun vrat? Oh my God...🤣 I'm sure you were chuckling while writing this!

She would also take classes from Sahiba. Hope her angelic nature rubbs off on her and tames her wild streaks. After a quick prayer to that effect Azeez returned the diary to its place.

Tap.Tap. He thought he heard footsteps. May be Kuki was back before her usual time after her morning walk. He had wanted his ribbons to be a surprise and stuffed them quickly in the pouch. He placed them under her pretty pink gown. Looking around, he rushed to the chair nearby and dropped in it, just in time.

Kuki came breezily into the room and stopped when he saw Azeez casually look up at her. How handsome he looked...and how much he had suffered! She remembered her vow to be a good girl.

"Azeez! What a surprise. You are here quite early! Can i make you nimbu paani or some orange juice..."

Azeez looked stunned. Not only would his Kuki NOT ask HIM to make nimbu paani but would make some for him as well.!!! In his heart he thanked the double crosser who slashed his hand that made his girl all so kind to him.

Ramachandra!

"Kuki", he attempted to imitate his Ustaad's baritone but wasn't pleased with the performance and so in his usual tones said "would you join me this evening by the Riverside. Seems ages since we spent time together, alone. I'd be happy if you wear your pretty pink gown."

I love how these two are trying to emulate their role models Heera and AMK, failing miserbaly, and yet coming up looking choo chweet!

Kuki blushed pinker than her pink gown. "Yes" she whispered.

At the Riverside in the evening

Azeez arrived early. He wanted to bask in his joy and rehersed the lines he wanted to tell her when she arrived. They would go on the boat holding hands and

But what was that...Kuki was already there sitting under an apple tree, and unusually quiet.

She was in her pink gown, so must have seen the ribbons.

"Hello my sweet..." Azeez sat down beside her and gently turned her face to meet his. "How did you like my surprise!" he smiled. "I was very much surprised indeed" said Kuki with an expression very difficult to decipher. There was something about her tone that rang a warning bell. He wanted to please her. "Do you realize that your face looks like the full moon?"

"Does it have craters and pits Shah Sahib??" she retorted with unabated anger. He looked up, 'Ai Khuda! Help me!' and spotted those lovely apples up the tree. "Shall i get you an apple? They are such lovely fruits."

What an apt gif, you found!

Kuki narrowed her eyes and was visibly fuming. Azeez was horrified. " Oh Kuki! Why such anger. You are redder than those apples and the red roses and the cherries and the ..." He hadn't finished the sentence, when Kuki sprang at him like a wild cat. "Apples and roses are all you can think off now, isn't it?"

Azeez would have preferred to face Khalil than Kuki like this. "But what happened dear..." swallowed the soldier who didn't fear to face even an army by himself.

Kuki pressed a little scroll into his hands and said "Don't...talk...to me...EVER...again" and stormed away from the place. Statled Azeez unfolded the scroll."Oh no! "He gasped.

"These apples and roses are specially for my Certain Someone. I grew them in my personal farm with personal care. Hope he remembers my affection for him when he smells the roses and savours the apples...❤️"

"The apples and roses were a gift for Ustaad from Kuki's friend he had met on the way home. She was an ardent admirer of Ustaad, and naturally so, and wanted him to deliver those gifts to Ustaad on her behalf.

'But why couldn't she simply mention Ustaad or Akbar Khan! Why Certain Someone! ' Azeez cursed, 'The scroll must have fell from my pocket when i bent to pick up the diary and i must have shoved them into the pouch with the ribbons! Now how will i convince Kuki that i am not CS. ' Sighed the horrified Azeez Shah as he collected himself and ran in the direction where Kuki went. " Kuki dear...it wasn't for me...I promise..."
