The man stood against, the setting sun
With determination and grit
With steely eyes and fear for none
And courage to the hilt.
The knight in shining armour was he
The kind history extols
One who could conquer the land and sea
One Praised in ancient scrolls
His heart held secrets, memories and pain
All buried ocean deep
With sufferings losses and childhood slain
That stayed awake even in sleep
To the dishonest fierce, to the good kind
His actions were all a mystery
His silhouette dwarfed the palaces behind
His looks inspired poetry
