Yes she wanted to be with him and not even he accepted it! She was so open and big hearted, fearless of the consequences, trusted him! Then she had to bear his rejection and even that didn't break her although her pride must have been hurt somewhere too.

..Already she was bombarded with the truth in most unpleasant way and state... How very true! In the middle of a jungle the Ustaad has subdued the dreaded Khalil. His men, his prisoners, his spy network, his frightening authority, his brazen plan to marry her. It is too much truth in which the added truth of his intentions to protect and not harm her or her beloved Parnagarh is temporarily drowned.
