C27 teaser pic - OMG ! I couldn't tear my eyes away from it . Just magnifique! That formidable pose as he takes aim at that creature Khalil - Ufff! Seriously , I have to create a folder to save all these masterpieces.

When I stumbled upon Shruthi's post early Friday morning exclaiming - :

OMG... Update is here... Teaser pic is killing , -it was literally killing me as well as I had to wait a few more hours to see the pic and read the update as my presence was urgently required elsewhere.

C27- a fast-paced, action-packed chapter that was an amalgam of varied emotions -too many to list- ranging from extreme horror (when that animal pinned Heera down intending to do the unthinkable) to unbridled joy (when our knight in shining armour made his appearance).

Right from the beginning, the frenzied and exhilarating pace of the update gave us shivers with very little respite until it reached its crescendo with an act so daring, so spectacular - the death-defying leap - the strike of the master archer on his horse in mid- air, followed by the sweetest sound of all - the howl of the ghoul and our hearts began beating again.

A chapter that saw both of them going out of their minds, faced with circumstances so adverse and so unimaginable. With all hopes diminishing fast and at the end of their tether, it was to their Creator that they turned to with impassioned pleas for a breakthrough. Thus, she stayed safe ( just barely ) for him, to be saved and from hereon to be kept safe by him.

'My lovely Sahiba... where have you sent that horse off to?' a voice had suddenly crept up from behind.' If ever there was a spine -chilling, bloodcurdling, heart- stopping moment - this had to be it. Had you stopped the update at this point, dear Sahiba , I would have taken the next flight out to London to hunt you down with a bow and arrow , no less! 😆

The reunion of the Sahib and his Sahiba ( even if only one of them was conscious ) was so lovingly written in author Lashy's true distinctive style - leaving us feeling serene and calm after the emotional whirlpool we were subjected to earlier.

This update was a cathartic release for the readers, helping us to liberate our pent-up emotions that had kept us throttled for much of it.

Special mention- to the superstars of this update - Bahadur and his Marwari pal- I salute the intelligence and loyalty of these wonder animals.👏

Bravo! Bravo! Bravo! Lashy darling - the undisputed queen of storytelling- for yet another superlatively stunning update. Nandri! Nandri! Nandri!
