Jodha was selecting dresses, jalal was passing by from there alongwith Birbal and Abul fazal, at the upstair corridors when his gaze fell down at jodha in Angoori bagh who was trying a dupatta and he stopped. Unaware of their emperor's gaze which was stuck on his queen, Birbal and Abul Fazl continued their discussion whilst fixing his eyes on jodha, jalal nodded at them on every question. Birbal and AF exchanged glances and again looked at jalal who was standing mum and looking at jodha.😆
"ye bhi sundar nai lage apko?", Moti asked as jodha tried another dupatta.
"Bahut sundar lag rahe h!", jodha answered happily, looking at herself in a mirror when she noticed jalal standing upstairs and watching her intently. As their eyes met, Jalal again nodded at birbal and AF as if he's listening what they're saying and gesticulated at jodha with his eyes, saying "No" and her smile lessened.
"To phir yahe pehnengi na aap utsav me?",Moti asked.
"Nahe..",Jodha scrunched up her face. "Matlab sundar h par itni khaas bhi nahe", she added and removed a dupatta. "Kuch aur dikhaiye hume"
His eyes sparkled and lips parted when she asked for another dupatta. Smiling shyly, she raised her eyes and glanced at him. Birbal and AF kept discussing and jalal kept looking at his beautiful wife.
She tried another dupatta gleefully and liked it.Jodha looked at herself in a mirror and smiled."ye kesi lag rahi h?", she asked Moti.
"Bahut sunadr jodha", Moti said with a big smile.
Jodha anticipatedly looked at her husband who again gesticulated " Just OK" and said "No" with his eyes.
Jodha fumed and removed that dupatta. "Kuch aur dikhao"
Birbal propsed something, jalal again nodded. Birbal asked you don't agree. Jalal said nothing like that. You can go head. Fazal added something and jalal again nodded. Birbal and Fazal again exchanged confused glances. Meanwhile, Jodha tried another dupatta but there was an anger on her face as jalal kept rejecting all, which she liked.
She looked into a mirror unanticipatedly whilst his lips curved in a faint smile.She looked at jalal who was busy in discussion which increased her annoyance.
Irritated, she removed that one too when her eyes met his. He smiled broadly at her and nodded in approval. A little amazed and little shy, she again put that dupatta on her head. Jalal grinned which fetched a smile on her face too.
"Lagta h ye bhi achi nahi lage", Moti spoke. "aap dusri dikha dijiye"
"are nahi nahi hume bahut Pasand aai h ye", jodha adjusted her dupatta. "Moti ise khareed lo. Ye hum apne paas rakhenge" she looked at herself in a mirror and then at jalal who was smiling at her.
Jalal dismissed Birbal and AF saying that he's tired now. They left and jalal gestured at jodha with a smile. "I am coming"
She smiled shyly and jalal advanced downstairs. As jodha got up happily, her dupatta flew away from her head in air and fell down on jalal's face.❤️ He grinned whilst a sheepish look crossed jodha's face. "Takliya", reaching her jalal ordered.
Stepping towards her, jalal gestured at her with his eyes to turn sideways.She laughed quiety and did as she was told. He made her wear that dupatta and put his arm around her shoulder as they stood together in front of a mirror.
"Aap itni khoobsurat hen.. Ki koi bhi rang apse lag kar aur rangeen ho jaata h..", he said softly, looking at her reflection in a mirror.
She smiled and rolled her eyes. "Abhi Hamare paas apki inn shararaton k liye samay nahi h.. Kal sangram ji aane wale hen aur hume bahut sari tayaariyan karni hen.", saying this she moved away to leave when he held her through shoulder. He stepped forward and put his other arm around her shoulder. "Itni tayaariyan to apne hamare nikaah k waqt nahi ki."
She turned, moving away her head."Shehenshah...Tab ki baat kuch aur thi.. Tab hamara vivah rajnaitik karan se hua tha.Uss samay na to apko humse prem tha aur na he hume apse anurag"
"Aur ab", he asked. Both shared an eyelock.
"Kitni baar aap humse yhe baat puchte hen", he smiled. "aur har baar hamara utar ek he hota h-Bahut Prem karte hen hum apse", she looked into his eyes.
"To Phir aaiye gale lag jaiye hamare.. ", he opened his arms. "Aur itne kareeb aa jaiye ki koi kabhi hamare beech me na aaye". He grinned looking at her with open arms. Jodha looked around and then in his eyes. Her lips broke into a smile and she hugged her husband happily.
Laboni and Dammo were looking at them from laboni's room. *rolling eyes*
"Wese aap humse kitna prem karte hen.. Iski pariksha to kal he hoge",Jodha said.
"Kesa imtehaan", jalal frowned lightly.
"ye pariksha apki aur sangram ji ki hoge. Apko yaad h hamare yahan ki rasam.. Jab saari striyan ek jese vastra pehen leti hen aur apne mukh ko dupatte se dhak leti hen.. Tab Patiyon ko apni apni patniyon ko dhundna hota h", resting her head on his chest she smiled.
"Jodha begum.. Sangram singh ka imtehaan samajh me aata h.. lekin ye imtehaan to kai baar le chuki hen aap hamara" he let out a faint laugh. "Aur kain baar apne hume fasane ki koshish ki h lekin baar baar maat apki hue h"
"To thik h iss baar phir se dekhlete hen..", she broke a hug. "Wese bhi shehenshah.. prem me kadam kadam par pariksha deni hoti h aur har baar pariksha saral nahi hoti h"
"Fikr mat kijiye iss baar bhi jeet hamarai he hoge", he uttered.
"Acha.. dekhte hen.. Kal pta chal jayega", she said whilst he was looking at her smilingly.
She laughed. "Acha hume jana h.. bahut sari tayaariyan karni hen hume kal ki", she turned to leave and he held her dupatta.❤️
She stopped and blushed. He was gazing at her from behind. She hid her smile and turned back at him. As he didn't blink his eyes and had a faint sly smile on his face, she too smiled as he slowly pulled her dupatta making her step towards him.They came closer. His lips parted as he blinked, enjoying the proximity of his wife.She blushed and suddenly distracted him. Taking the advantage, jodha smiled and ran away. Looking at her retreating figure, jalal smiled broadly.😃

I didn't like Jalal's beard and jo's bun in this scene. The scene was really good. It could be flawless if only we didn't have jalal's beard and jo's bun in this scene. Also, I really don't understand what preparations jo had to do since the beginning of this show. She was a princess, then queen and now malika-ae-hind, still whenever there's some function or someone was coming, she used to say this one thing only whenever she's with jalal. This irritates me sometimes.😈
