Crossing the line of threshold, she stepped into the unfamiliar chamber - a spare room, perhaps. It was a part of the haveli that she'd never been in before.

Glancing ahead, at a far end of the room, Heera observed his shadow that loomed over the lattice screen he stood facing. His shoulders were stiff, his head held high - a mark of confidence. It was a good sign, wasn't it?

As wonderful a chapter of the pains of love as the stable chapter for the womders and joys of it. Read it twice and found it more of a melancholy filled poetry than a chapter of a story.

The forest scene was so vivid, AMK's kashmakash palpable. And his decision understandable.

Can't decide whose condition is more heart tugging. Heera's or Akbar's.

Pain due to ignorance of the truth. Or pain due to knowledge of the terrible truth.

Now with Mahender's ear-filling, Heera is going to think that AMK played along or behaved so gentle-man-like for his assignment's sake. She'll be sure that he had wantonly decieved her with his pretense courtesies so that she doesn't suspect him. She'll hate him and herself more for having fallen for his pretenses.

The parting scene, Heera's hesitancy and anticipation and increasing disappointment at his indifference was so well built. Excellent Lashy.👏 So was our Hero's sternness that hid all the tempest within him which only his chachajaan could decipher. But like Akbar he too didn't have a solution.

Only the clever Lashy Granger has one.😳

Two days she'd been waiting for an opportunity to meet him in person. And thankfully, the opportunity had come, just in time. Strangely though, all of a sudden, she found herself just as worried as she was relieved now - relieved that they were finally here, together, alone. But terribly worried where this path might lead to. Relieved that he appeared hale and healthy. But also worried that the recovery seemed to have replaced his vulnerability with an air of formality, once again.

Calming her nerves, Heera attempted to end the most unsettling spell of stillness she'd ever encountered

'Salaam Khan Sahib...'

'Salaam Sahiba...'

Another awkward lull followed - him waiting for her to continue, while she waited for him to.

So, Heera decided to begin the conversation, by enquiring after his health.

But just as she was about to speak up, he beat her to it - by coming straight to the point.

'I heard you wanted to meet me... personally...' Akbar turned around, to face her 'something important to discuss, Sahiba?'

just mind blowing updte lashy👏i felt d attitude of AMK was like coconut hard from outside soft within i mean d softness reserved fr heera sahiba only...😉 but d dn chachajaan could see d reason behind dis attitude it wasnt a normal one but he was hiding it from heera only to protect her from his enemies...d chap was emotional and sad too so finally both will part from each other...dis parting scene was painful indeed...anyways m waiting for more from ur next updte...🤗❤️
