Hi!

Sharing an article I just came across.

Jodha and Akbar

Jodha was a princess from a Rajput family from Rajasthan. Akbar, the emperor of India, decided to strengthen his relations with the Rajputs, and married Jodha. Being a muslim and bringing a hindu wife into the royal family was never easy.

But he gave his beloved wife the freedom of following her own religion and practicing her customs and traditions freely. This way, not only he had good relations with the Rajputs, but also won the heart of Jodha. Their love proves that love is beyond religion and caste.
