'Please don't!!!' She cried.

He stretched his arms and pressed his ears on the bunch of grass to mask the noise, when suddenly reality hit him hard. SHE WAS CRYING!!!

He stood up from the floor of the cave and looked upon the grass bed inside but found none. She left? She moved out without him? Oh God this was going to be dangerous, he thought. He was interrupted by her sharp shout again.

He rushed out to see her being dragged by group of men and some women cursing her from the crowd.

'You' Shikhar groaned as he was about to slap Pari. But his hands abruptly stopped in the air by someone's tight fingers clenching them hard.

"What are you doing Raja?" Shikhar asked unable to understand the sudden change.

"I'm doing what is right" he jerked off Shikhar's hand and pulled Pari from others and hid her behind him.

Pari was too weak to say no or react. She had not eaten since days. She had almost tripped when she tried to escape. Now she was feeling she would throw up. The events had taken a toll over her.

"But" a man, double the age of Pari who was chief in molesting her, protested.

"Sorry everyone but no buts and ifs. This will not proceed further. She is a human too" he added holding her as he knew she would trip into unconsciousness any moment now.

"Why Raja?" Shikhar asked politely. He was like a right hand to Raja and a true friend. The one he can trust upon, closing his eyes.

"Because he has enjoyed and now doesn't want us to, so that he can have all things by him" added Manav cheaply and broke into laughter along with his stupid friends

"THUD"

Manav fell on the floor with a thud as he received a punch on his face by RAJA.

"Shikhar bring in some good food and probably vegetarian because we do not know about her. And make sure you repair the dry grass gate of the cave" Raja spoke ignoring the questioning looks and hurt Manav.

Shikhar obeyed and vanished somewhere.

Raja put on Pari's arm around him and slowly placed her head on his shoulder and walked back into the Cave.

He whispered "Sorry."

She was drowsy to comprehend the situation but she came to know that the stranger's name was "RAJA", Shikhar was important and that she was being saved by him. AGAIN.

He glanced at her pale skin and made her lean on the bed and continued "Look I would not hurt you anymore. I'm sorry for yesterday."" And...you stay here in. It's not safe out." "I will try to contact to your husband"

He completed only to find Pari unconscious. He slapped his forehead in disgust on how he could overlook her weakness.

"Raja" Shikhar called out at the entrance of the cave whose gates were being fixed by two men. He continued "Here is the food, now will you tell me what is it?"

Raja ignored him and continued to analyze Pari over the distance. He got near her sprinkled some water on her face and as soon as she was awake, she started panicking. "Please don't hurt me. Please"

"Sshh!!!!We won't and we are... S...sorry..." He shuddered and politely said those words but soon his pale look returned as he added "BUT DO NOT LEAVE THIS CAVE. THERE IS DANGER OUT THERE!!TRY TO UNDERSTAND!"

Pari had enough. Everybody went around controlling her. Especially men. What was with them? What did they think of themselves? First they would force on her and then would apologize so that she accepts him for further fun!!!!

She stood up shocking Raja as some moments ago, she barely had the energy to walk. He handled her the food but before he spoke, she tossed the plate and the contents ruined the feet of Raja and cloth of Shikhar.

She added sarcastically "YOU MEAN MORE DANGEROUS THAN YOU ARE?!"

That's it!!! Raja lost it all, he raised his hand but stopped half way with some thoughts. He smiled.

Pari let out a groan as she saw that smile "YOU ARE SUCH A JERK" she pointed at his smile "WHY ARE YOU SMILING, YOU MONSTER? EVEN IF I SWEAR WITH ALL THE CURSES AND SLANG, IT WOULD BE LESS FOR YOU! YOU BEAST!!!!" Today Pari's boundaries and patience broken. These words were more for Dev than Raja! She spoke them...at least behind his back!

Raja got closer to Pari bridging the gap between them and said between his smiles

"It's better to hear curses of a women THAN LET HER CRY!"

The exact words kept on replaying in her mind as she munched on the fruits she plucked from outside.

Little did she know, the stranger, RAJA had helped her AGAIN...in letting go of the bottled up feelings and frustration of months.
