Chappy-1

She storms into her house bolting the main door after an hour drive to her home and throws the file which she refers to as THE STUPID FILE ' on the floor. She could feel the adrenaline gushing up in ferocious speed in her body because her heart's beat is right now twice the normal pace and she could fell it. She has surely thought of at least a thousand ways to murder him or even more in an hour's drive. Only if law pardoned one murder she would have done it, without any regret. All her efforts had gone into vain. Her life's only aim today is in almost ruins because of him. Roy... she grits her teeth in silent anger correction fury. Her fury right know is equivalent to that of a lioness and that to a wounded one. Her pride has been hurted; all that she had achieved till date seemed worthless. So worthless that it seemed that it did not even cost a penny. She had been humiliated to the core today all because of Roy. Her loyalty towards her nation had been questioned today. This humiliation seemed unbearable to such an extent that a feeling of vengeance crept in silently in her heart, which she thought that did not exist, and a murder seemed worth it. One complains by Roy and everybody lashed on her without queries. Had not her loyal service been enough to prove that the allegations put on her are false? No, that had not been she guessed. Her life's sole aim, the reason why she had chose to be an IPS officer instead of driving her passion to become an Journalist and writer , had been taken from her and it seemed unbearable to cope the loss of the 24/6 case that had been taken from her. Just because her partner Roy had been feeling a pang of jealously as she had been getting all the appreciation and he accused her of leaking the case to their rivals. She had been humiliated by her fellow officers and the higher authorities. Only because of lack of proper proof she had not been dismissed, her post had been surely maintained, but she would not be involved in the 24/6 case anymore, until her name is cleared. Until then she has to solve the high profile murder case of MP Adham Khan, the person whose has murdered is on the lease for three months now. The authority had also informed her that if she solves this case then there are more chances of getting reconsidered in the case. She knows who she is Jodha Singh; she has never expected defeat at any cost. She has been trained a Dehradun, she is a specialist in encounters and a gold medallist in her batch. She had been posted in the heart of India, Delhi. She is goal oriented and her goal is catching the 24/6 terrorists who had shed innocent blood of many innocents during the firing and bombing in the Grand Hotel Mumbai. She wanted vengeance for all those innocent people who died in that black day and most important she desired vengeance for herself, for her family because she had lost everything on that fateful day, but for that she has to solve the murder case. She goes towards the file and picks it and keeps on the table. Once she reaches the bedroom she immediately jumps out of her clothes and goes for a shower. Turning on the shower tap she sits on the cold bathroom floor allowing the cold floor and cold water to calm her boiling insides. She does not know for how long she had been in the bathroom but it did help her in calming down. She wore denim shorts and a black colour tank top and left her hair open for drying. She headed towards the sitting room and took the file and kept in the locker safely, that is when she heard the doorbell ring. She lazily walks towards the door and unlocks it and surprised find Moti. Moti is a doctor in the forensic department and is a close friend of Jodha. Moti says - surprised? Jodha says- Yup! Come in. Moti says- I heard you had a bad day so just thought of checking in and brought your favourite pizza and we will watch a movie. Jodha says- I am in no mood. Moti- If you watch your mood will surely change. No ifs and buts' we will watch and I am exhausted as I have come straight from work and I can't fight with you anymore and I am starving. Jodha nods sitting on the couch. Moti- so which movie romantic or comedy? Jodha glares at Moti. Moti says-Ok! I got it stop giving me those I will kill you looks. We are watching comedy happy. Otherwise you will start giving me a long lecture how you do not believe in romance. Romance is a waste of time and finally and the most important of all you will conclude that you don't have a heart. Jodha says- you know it then why do you think I will say yes for a romantic movies or novels? Moti says sarcastically - Because I grew up reading romantic novels not crime novels like you. Jodha says- Moti could watch and eat I am in no mood of discussing about love. Moti says- you never are. You are 27 Jodha and I doubt if you have ever dated in your life. How on earth have you never felt for any person of the opposite sex? We women are born for romance. We are born romantic in nature and you are just so opposite of the way people define a woman. Jodha says- Moti this is the only topic we end up fighting on. I know you are saying for my good but I can't afford falling in love it means deviating from my goal. Moti says- Your life should not revolve around a case Jo. This case is not the end of your life or your life. It is a part of your life. For God sake grow up. You cannot live your life alone; you need some who will care for you, who will accept you the way you are. Jodha gets up angrily and says- You will never understand. A women's heart is an ocean of secrets and leaves for her room. Moti says- then tell me that secret which makes you more of robot and less of a human, we can sort it out. They have known each other for four years. Moti lives in the opposite flat from Jodha's flat. Whenever Moti had tried knowing that except her parent's death is there something else bugging her, she always gets angry. She is sure that something that bugs her, but she is not ready to share. She has seen her work night and day as if Jodha was a robot. At times it seemed to her that the words like sleep, hunger, tiredness did not exist in Jodha's dictionary. She is a total workaholic or at times it seemed that she pretended to be one to avoid something that breaks each and every time she thinks about it; she is one secretive and a stubborn damsel. Jodha simply sits on the bed and takes out a photograph from the drawer and hugs the photo and says- I miss you. Really, really miss you, please come back and she gently slip into the duvet hugging the photo as if it were a lullaby which would put her to sleep. Moti goes to the guest room to sleep because she is not going anywhere without resolving the argument they had.

Promo- Moti says looking at Jalal's photo- This guy I know him he was mad at forensic department he accused the department of tampering his wife's post-mortem reports. Jodha looks on.

I do not have any clue what have I written I just went with the flow. Plz do tell me whether you liked the first Chappy or not and should I continue it? Sorry for the short chappy. Thanks for reading love, Ana.
