Unfortunately, on reflection this news does not excite me. Rajat will once again be king, so he will have three king roles in his resume. I hope such a great actor is not remembered mockingly as the "king wala actor". Look at poor Govinda, a good actor(look at his performance in Hatya) but he will forever be remembered as the actor of vulgar comedy movies. He has been type cast and he is stuck.

In a world so full of great roles what was the need for another king role by Rajat. It is not as if Chandragupta Maurya is an awe inspiring never done before story. It was done just a few years back(on Imagine and lasted for 100 episodes). I was bored to death and made a vow never to watch any Hindi language program again. It is for this reason that I started so late on JA.

It will really be good to see RAJAT back in action 😳 Yet , i agree i wanted RAJAT back in some DIFFERENT type of Genre's and not the same repeatitive ones he has been doing in his carrear !!!

And Again , I m disappointed about the Production house and will Think more than twice to even think watching this show , as we have already experienced lot of anguish becoz of JA And i dont want to repeat the same mistake all over again 🥱

same feeling here buddy. think about we all know many thing about akbar and we have many proof about his personal life.
but what about CHANDRAGUPTA MAURYA
we have not much evidence about his life or history.

after having enough proof or evidence they butchered jalal's character or his life.😡
then god only know what they will do with chandragupta maurya's character and i am dum sure they will be make his life also a family politics or cartoon character 😡

lets hope for the best!!!Rajat Tokas will definitely shine in any show..cant waot to see him back..me too wanted to see him in a modern avatar!! bt i m hapy that he is coming back instead of taking long break like the one he took after TERE LIYE

Yep, it may not have enough juice for a female part so PS may be doubtful.

Wish they can make a series on Hoysala King Vishnuvardhana and his queen Shantala. That would suit Parijat.
Rani Shantala was an epitome of beauty and was well versed in fine arts and dancing.
That would suit PS.

Well if only script writers can venture into history of south India.

m somewhat happy cz we will get to see rajat sizzling again onscreen but again a historical show it dint make me happy I knw rajat will nail d character wid his superb performance bt bk to bk historical is something I dint xpect wanted to see him in modern story in totlly diff luk... 😕 and moreover its ekta's show again so she will treat dis shw also lik ja 1st 1 yr awsum and dn down d drains... 😕 lets see what happens...thnx fr sharing... 😳
