Chapter 53

Jalal and jodha are in the car, jalal hold jodha hands and try to make her relax, he still remember how he feel when he heard that little boy crying and plead jodha to help him and when he heard his mother died he really feel sorry for her, he can't imagine when jodha being abused by her father especially in her childhood, she has no one to help and have no place to go so now he understand why jodha feel related to that little boy, everyone who have a heart will want to help the little boy and he definitely have a heart, with shaking voice jodha ask him where is he now and he said now he is in hospital alone with police.

Jodha and jalal reach the hospital and rush to find rahim, zahir ask to nurse station bout rahim and they pointed to morgue, and then they all go there when they reach morgue there are lot police in the lounge, then jodha and jalal spot rahim, he sit on the floor at the corner of lounge, rahim bend his knee and put his face on it, jodha feel heartbreaking looking him like that, the police notice jalal arrival and they looks confuse, jodha come to rahim.

" rahim " she call him in low tone but that is enough for him, he look at her and jodha almost cry looking at his face, there is some new bruise and his cheeks wet by his tears, he then stand up and run to jodha and hug her, he bury his face on jodha's tummy.

" my mama . . . my mama " he said in hoarse between his sob

Jodha caressing his head gentle " sttt . . ssttt . . it's ok . . . " jodha try to pacify him, then he take rahim to sit on lounge and rahim hold her arms and still cying and sobbing.

Jalal and some police loot at jodha rahim and they feel sorry for the little boy

" what the connection between your wife and the little boy ? " ask one higher rank police officer

" nothing . . it just few weeks back when we finish check up for my wife pregnancy and she spot that boy sitting alone and she talking to him, he said his father hit his mother and himself, then my wife give her mobile number and told him to call her if he need helps " jalal explain everything to him

" poor little guy . . his mother died, his father commit suicide and the rest family from his father side refuse to take him in so we must put him in foster home " jalal very shock to hear what that little boy had been through

" why they don't want to take him ? " ask jalal

" because they feel shame by his father acted and don't want people know they are related, they rather let that little boy go to foster home than take him into their care " reply the police officer

Jalal can't and wont let that little boy go to the foster home, he is suffered enough no need to add another pain in his life " is it ok if i take him home ? " he ask, the police officer looking at jalal with surprise " my wife already feel the bond with him and we have some empty rooms " jalal explain

" that sound good for him . . . i will do the paper work and let the social service know bout this " he said and jalal nod, then he come to jodha and rahim, he squatted in fron of jodha and rahim

" hey there little man . . . . my name is jalal and i'm aunty jodha husband " jalal introduce himself, rahim looking at him with scare and hiding his face behind jodha's arms and jalal heart really hurt looking how he look very scare.

" don't be afraid rahim . . my husband is a kind and nice man in the world " she said and jalal smile to her, rahim start to look at jalal with nervous and doubtful

" listen you want to come with me and aunty jodha ? " he ask, jodha looking at jalal with surprise and so does rahim

Jalal smile to jodha and him " yes you can and will come with us . . you want that ? " he ask

Rahim look at jodha to reassuring himself that this is real and jodha smile to him and caress his face " you can come with us . . i would glad if you can come " she said and he smile and his handsome face become bright

" ok . . . i'll come with you " he said to jalal

" nice . . ok . . now shall we go ? " jalal ask again and rahim nod, the three stand up and rahim slide his little hand into jodha and hold on to her, jalal tell the police that he will take rahim with him and they feel to call him if they need talk to rahim, then he take jodha and rahim home, but when they come out from hospital there few reporters who covers rahim mother homicide and his father suicide and they all look shock and surprise seeing jalal and jodha take the boy with them and that make them curious how and why on earth they take the boy with them, but jalal tight security make them impossible to approach the famous couple, so they search the police officer who handle the case, and they feel amaze how jodha who don't know he kids can act soo compassionate towards rahim, and they more amaze listen jalal decide to take the boy because he didn't want him go to foster home, they never seen this side of jalal, they know mughals family always give huge amount money for charity but it's personal act from jalal, and they guess may be it's the good influence from his beautiful pregnant wife, and now the media got the first picture of very pregnant jodha, her huge baby bump very visible to everyone eyes, but they still amaze how the couple take orphan rahim under their roof.

Rahim fall asleep on the way to mughals residence, he sleep on jodha's lap, and jodha with motherly caressing his hairs, she feel very sad this sad life must happen to rahim, she remember rahim when he crying over the phone and how he hold on to hers, tears fall on her cheeks remembering how rahim lost his parents in the same day, jalal see jodha tears and with gentle he wipe it and he pull jodha closer to him, he understand how jodha's feeling, and jodha feel relief that jalal always become her strength, they reach home and when ahmed will carry rahim jalal stop him and with easy he carry rahim and take her to one guest room with jodha following behind him, he laying sleeping rahim on bed and cover him with blanket then he watching the handsome boy and his heart feel hurt looking at bruised on his innocent face and he curse whoever dare lay a hand to a child and woman, jodha too watching rahim, she glad that she gave rahim her number otherwise she wont know what happen to him, she sit slowly on side of bed and caress his cheeks, jalal touch jodha's shoulder and jodha look up to him, jalal give her sign to step outside, jodha looking at rahim for the last time then she follow jalal, and they enter their bedroom, jalal helping jodha sit on a chair and he sit across to her while holding her hands.

Jalal watching jodha who look still sad " sweety . . . look at me " he said and jodha look at jalal with her doe eyes " listen sweety i know you feel very sad because what happened to rahim but you know this is not good for your health and our babies . . so keep away that sad things from your minds ok ? " jodha look at him with amaze because he always can read her mind and feeling

" don't worry jalal . . . you know i will always thing my kiddos so eventhough i feel sad for rahim but i will make my self not too stress out " she said try reassuring her dear husband

Jalal smile and glad to hear jodha saying that because he don't like jodha feel sad " good that is my jodha " he said

" what are we goin to do with rahim ? " she ask

" the police officer said that family from his father side don't want to take him in so if we don't take him to our house he will send to foster home " jodha really surprise to hear that

" ooohhh my God . . . . poor little boy . . . how can his family refuse to take him . . don't they have a heart ? " she said with angry

" i don't think they have a heart judging how they treat him " said jalal, he really piss off too to that family, he would never his family behind but they abandon little boy wo just lost his parents alone " this house is big and we had some guest room . . how about let him stay with us for awhile and see how things goin and decide what will we do for his future " suggest jalal

Jodha looking jalal with soo much love then she touch his face and smile to him " you are really kindhearted you know that " she praise

" ooohh you think ? " he ask and wink with happy

" yes . . rahim is a stranger to you but you not think twice to bring him here to your house and even plan to let him stay here . . . . . "

" it's you who really kindhearted " cut jalal and jodha seems confuse " you didn't know him bout you give your phone number to him in case he need your help, then you come to him as soon as he call you that he need your help . . not every people will do what you did for him, you hold him when he cry on your arms . . . you know me and my family always give large amount money to charity and fund raiser but to be honest i never face personal something like this, but when i saw how you being compassion towards stanger little kid, you sad and cry for what happened to him . . you jodha have a golden heart " jalal really feel lucky to have a pure wife with a golden heart

" i feel related to him . . . may be because we shared the same painfull experiences " she said but jalal shook his head

" there are lot people, woman and man who may be through the same like you and rahim but just a few who will do what you did for rahim and that's what makes you special, do you remember in the past when we are on a date how you without a doubt helping stangers, helping an old people crossing the street and many other things . . you have a golden heart sweety and i'm happy that i own that golden heart " he said with proud and jodha smile with happy

" well . . . it will amazing if we can help each other " she reply and suddenly she feel a very hard kick on her tummy " ooowhhh . . . . your sons kicking hard , they are naughty like their abbu " said jodha while touching her babu bump

" really ? " jalal ask with amusement yet exciting

" yes . . come touch here " jodha pointed on her baby bump and jalal put his hand there and the momen he touch it there is a very powerful kick " ho ho ho ho . . . that's my boys . . their kicking indeed very hard " he said with proud, he kiss jodha tummy gentle

Jalal looking at her tummy " hey boys . . . what are you doin there ? play football till you kick ammi ? don't kick your ammi too hard ok . . . be nice to her " jodha laugh listening to his words

" play football ? really ? i think they practicing thai boxing " tease jodha and now jalal laugh too

" mama . . mam . . don't . . . don't hit my mama . . mama . . don't leave me " he mumbling in his sleep and jalal can hear his desperation, jalal then reach his hands and hold it tight, rahim open his eyes and see jalal above him

Jalal smile to him " hello little one "

Rahim still disoriented and nervous " where am i ? where is jodha ? " he said forget to call jodha by her name

" jodha in our rooms . . we are talking then suddenly hearing you screaming " he reply " bad dream ? " he ask and rahim nod slowly

" mama is gone . . . evil papa gone too . . now i'm alone . . i have nobody " said rahim with sadly and tears fall down on his cheeks like a river.

" hey . . hey little one . . don't be sad " jalal wipe his tears gentle and touch his chin then raise his face " i know it's be what happened to you very terrible and sadness, and i know we've just met but you know my wife jodha " listening to jodha's name rahim smile little bit

" yes . . she was very kind to me " said rahim

Jalal chuckled " she is indeed very nice and kind person . . . " jalal agree with him

" yes . . where is she ? " rahim look around hoping to find jodha

" she is at our bedroom . . she need rest because she is pregnant . . you see how big her tummy ? " he said

Rahim nod " yes . . . her tummy is very big . . . "

" ok rahim . . listen you will stay here for while and then we decide what we will do ok ? " rahim look at jalal and nod " you've been through enough so no need to think bout anything else, you are not alone because now you have me and jodha . . . " said jalal

" can i call her jodha instead aunty jodha . . she is very beautiful not like a aunty ? " he ask

" you can call me or jodha whatever you like . . yes she is not like other aunty doesn't she, but she is going to be ammijan very soon " with proud jalal announce

" oooh then i will call her choti ammijan and call you baba " said rahim with excited

Jalal laugh " well that's suite her more instead of aunty " rahim giggle and jalal feel happy looking how rahim handsome face looks very cute when he is giggle like that

" do you and choti ammijan don't mind if i stay here ? " he ask

" ok . . but i must go back to my home to take my clothes and books . . . " said rahim, he don't want to go back th where his mother got killed by his own father but his stuff still there, jalal can see his inner fight

" give me your address and i will arrange my people to take your stuff from your home so there is no need for you to go back there " rahim feel relieve with jalal's suggestion

" i will arrange the funeral of your mother and father, my people will take you funeral when time is come " cut jalal

" thank you " said rahim, jalal watching him and he can understand why jodha feel related to him, even he can see the similarity between jodha and rahim, jodha have the same stare when she still trap in her past, there is pain, scare, doubt, and desperation, and even rahim reminded him of selima, when her parents died and she feel like she is all alone she had the same expression, and that time he do whatever he can to make selima not feel alone, and he will do the same to this kids, what jalal said earlier to jodha is right that he never face to face with people who need his help, he feel it's enough for him to give money to charity or fund raiser to help others but now with jodha he got the taste how it feel to help another people and he must confess he feel good, and beside tis handsome cute rahim seems like a nice good kid and so he want to know him first before he decide tahim future and fate.

" are you hungry ? " ask jalal

" yes " reply rahim

" then come . . i will ask chef to cook food for you . . . come . . . " jalal take rahim to dining room and when they passing jalal's bed room he look inside to ask jodha if she want to eat too but he saw she is sleeping and he don't want to bother her so he go to dining room with rahim, santi and marco susprise seeing a stranger little boy with jalal but they don't said anything.

Jalal accompany rahim eat when hamida and mirza come, jalal told rahim to keep eating while he talk to his mother and brother and rahim looking at hamida and mirza with curious but he nod to jalal, jalal ask hamida and mirza sit at living room.

" bhaijan . . . what happen ? you and jodha bhabijan become hot news on every tv channel " ask mirza

Jalal looking at him with confuse " what you mean ? what news ? "

" they said you and jodha very nice , kind and have a golden heart , they talk bout homicide and suicide case, and talking about you and jodha who take the dead parents son with you two, and they excited showing jodha with her huge tummy . . what's really happened jalal " ask hamida

MIrza and hamida very shock to hear that, they watch the news but it's not goin into detail " oooh my God . . . poor little boy " said hamida

Jalal nod " if i didn't take him here social service will send him to foster home and i don't want that to happen "

Mirza and hamida look to each other " but jalal you know jodha already feel related to that little boy and if he stay here they will have bond , so what will happen when you decide to send him away ? " said hamida

Jalal already think that possibility and he know jodha will love rahim even now she already care for him, but he can't deny that he like rahim too, he is such adorable little boy then he look at his mother " i know ammijan, i already thinking bout that, we will just wait and see, we can adopt rahim but before that happen i want us to get to know each other first " hamida and mirza very surprise listening to that, this is not jalal they know, jalal see the curious in his mother and brother eyes and he smile " you two must be feel strange with my act even i feel strange too but when i saw that little boy all i wanna do is to protect him, see how scare and lonely he is reminds me of jodha when she in her childhood, being abused and no one can help her even her mother can't do much " jalal looking at rahim

Mirza understand what his brother feel " ok bhaijan . . . we only can support you, you know what the best for you and jodha bhabijan " said mirza and jalal smile to him

" jalal " they suddenly hear jodha voice, jalal look around at the stairs and see jodha and he run to her

" sweety . . you know the rule . . you wont come down by yourself . . " jalal reminded her then he help jodha to come down, rahim who see jodha leave his food and run to her and hold her hand, hamida and mirza watching that scene and they notice how rahim hold on to jodha

Jodha looking at rahim " well hello . . you wake up . . " she said

Rahim smile " yes . . "

" what are you doin now ? " ask jodha

" eat . . . the food very delicious " reply rahim

" good . . you need to eat a lot . . you are too thin " tease jodha and rahim giggle, then jodha spot hamida and mirza " oooh ammijan . . mirza . . you guys here . . come rahim i will introduce you them " jodha with rahim holding her hands come to hamida and mirza

Mirza watch huge pregnant jodha with a smile " owww bhabijan your baby bump getting bigger, it must be hard to move around with your condition right now "

Mirza and jalal kneel in front of jodha and they put their hand on it, they want to feel it too and the twins kicking again " my God . . . is it hurt bhabijan ? " ask mirza

" no mirza it's not hurt " reply jodha, rahim looking at the baby bump and he look very curious

" who is there choti ammijan ? " he ask, jodha feel surprise when rahim call her like that

Hamida watching rahim, he indeed very cute and handsome little boy but she notice the nasty bruised on his face too and she feel what jodha and jalal feel towards him " hello rahim . . . i'm hamida . . and you can call me dadijan " she said

" we will accompany you eat . . i'm hungry too " reply mirza and then they all go to dining room and eat together and rahim for the first time in his life feel the warmt on dining room, something he never feel and he look at jodha and he smile, he sad because his mother just died and so his bad father but she have jodha now, she is very kind to him, and he promise he will protect her just like when he protect his mother.
