Paridhi Sharma became a household name, thanks to her lead role in 'Jodha Akbar'. Now that the show is ending tonight, the actress has already bagged her next project, which is a hosting assignment.
She will be seen anchoring Vikas Gupta's 'Talaash'. The show is set to enter a new phase and will highlight stories on exorcism.
Paridhi will take over from the current hosts Anita Hassanandani and Shaleen Malhotra.
Paridhi says, "It will give me an opportunity to be myself. I was planning to go on a long break, but the offer prompted me to change my decision." And she will be seen in light Indian attire as opposed to her heavy lehenga-choli avatar in Jodha Akbar.
"It's a relief from the heavy attire that I donned for two years on my previous show," she says.
