Feels so good to read your thoughts after ages Maddy.🤗
You, who always wrote from your heart, I have enjoyed reading each and everyone of your posts. This one, is no exception.Jodha and Akbar had me glued to the TV like no other serial ever had. The moments up until the leap were the glorious episodes of the serial.Words fall short to describe the awesome performances of all the actors who played various roles in the serial.Starting with our leads Paridhi and Rajat, who breathed life into the titular roles, have become synonymous with the names Jodha and Akbar. What a fine gorgeous looking pair, with exceptional talent, they will leave behind an ineradicable impression of their personalities, in the minds of the audience, forever.Ashwini Kalsekar who essayed the role of the intimidating Mahamanga, actors playing Bairam Khan, Atgah Khan, old Todar Mal, Birbal, the child actors playing Rahim, the young Mehtaab, young Anarkali, young Salim, young chubby Daaniyaal, young Murad, Sahrifuddin, Adham Khan, Javeda, Jiji Anga, Gulbadan Begum, Moti Bai,all of them contributed to the glorious run of the serial during the first two hundred episodes.Manisha Yadav, Chaya Ali Khan and Lavina Tandon playing the roles of Salima Begum, Hamida Begum and my pet peeve Rukaiyya Sultan have put forth excellent performances too. Each one of these actors including the newer lot that joined us later on, performed to the best of their abilities. As they say, all good things have to come to an end, so is Jodha Akbar.I can confidently say that it is the only historical that has amassed immense popularity worldwide, by being dubbed in several languages with an immeasurable fan following for the leads. As upset as I am with her, for messing up the story-line and mutilating several aspects connected to history, I will wholeheartedly thank EK for casting Paridhi Sharma, Rajat Tokas and Ashwini Kalsekar in prominent roles. Each one of these actors, outdid the other with their superlative performances.
