You, who always wrote from your heart, I have enjoyed reading each and everyone of your posts. This one, is no exception.

Jodha and Akbar had me glued to the TV like no other serial ever had. The moments up until the leap were the glorious episodes of the serial.

Words fall short to describe the awesome performances of all the actors who played various roles in the serial.

Starting with our leads Paridhi and Rajat, who breathed life into the titular roles, have become synonymous with the names Jodha and Akbar. What a fine gorgeous looking pair, with exceptional talent, they will leave behind an ineradicable impression of their personalities, in the minds of the audience, forever.

Ashwini Kalsekar who essayed the role of the intimidating Mahamanga, actors playing Bairam Khan, Atgah Khan, old Todar Mal, Birbal, the child actors playing Rahim, the young Mehtaab, young Anarkali, young Salim, young chubby Daaniyaal, young Murad, Sahrifuddin, Adham Khan, Javeda, Jiji Anga, Gulbadan Begum, Moti Bai,all of them contributed to the glorious run of the serial during the first two hundred episodes.

Manisha Yadav, Chaya Ali Khan and Lavina Tandon playing the roles of Salima Begum, Hamida Begum and my pet peeve Rukaiyya Sultan have put forth excellent performances too.

Each one of these actors including the newer lot that joined us later on, performed to the best of their abilities.

As they say, all good things have to come to an end, so is Jodha Akbar.

I can confidently say that it is the only historical that has amassed immense popularity worldwide, by being dubbed in several languages with an immeasurable fan following for the leads.

As upset as I am with her, for messing up the story-line and mutilating several aspects connected to history, I will wholeheartedly thank EK for casting Paridhi Sharma, Rajat Tokas and Ashwini Kalsekar in prominent roles. Each one of these actors, outdid the other with their superlative performances.

Hi Charu 🤗😃. Thanks a lot for your lovely words. It feels good to meet old friends.

We all loved ja like crazy. You have described so wonderfully - not just RT and PS but each and every character and actor that played a partcin making ja.

I know, what do we say about Ekta and her casting sense, if only she had it for selecting writers as well! Still thanks to her dream project we have these memories to cherish.

You reminded me of the golden period of not just ja but ja forum too. Ja forum used to be active almost day and night. We had such wonderful writers to match the wonderful episodes. After episode forum used to be on fire for hours.

Really hope we all can get together on some other forum soon.

Superb post Maddy, you have painted a very beautiful picture of JA before the leap and those days.

Your post has made me nostalgic. You have always been the special one in this forum. Your Sunday posts and the many threads you started for scenes that impressed you had a big following.

For me it is especially poignant because I have not forgotten something you wrote just after the twins death. You had said that you wanted to experience all the ups and downs of the JA journey, you wanted to savor everything in detail.

How badly Ekta and team betrayed you and us, with their idiotic leap. But the memories of the pre leap days linger and they are good memories.

Thanks Donjas for such lavish praise. 😳
I think ja didn't have many casual fans, we all were all crazy for ja fans. It seems unbelievable to me now that I used to spend so many hours daily on forum!

We had amazing writers pouring their hearts out, and ja episodes then used to be so amazing. Those were magical days of ja forum too. I remember Ela's daily episode thread easily used to cross 70-80 pages!!

I had left ja after HH track but haven't forgotten anything. I remember writing after the brilliant poignant episodes, (which many didn't watch due to sad track) that I wanted to experience the entire journey. What a pity and sheer waste that 40 years of amazing life together, lived on grand world stage almost and cvs couldn't find anything to write about!

Really CVS betrayed the fans, when fans were clamoring for ja they took leaps and drove away viewers with unbearable negativity.

I am watching ja from this week. Seeing the good costumes made me feel bit sad, when fans were loyal the leads were made to wear fading pathetic costumes. If only CVS Ekta and zee shown more respect and tried to dramatize the real JJ story, instead of the fictional NR. They wouldn't have run out of story.

Still we can always hope for JA season 2, with RT PS and starting from HH track end. Nothing is impossible if original writers come back to write it.

Maddy,
This is a nostalgic moment.. :)

Your post and that of others here + the mention of all the writers about whom you have written about reminded me of the good old days of Jodha Akbar.!

I still remember the discussions we had , which used to easily cross 50 pages daily on threads, even during normal episodes. The kind of discussions we all had just to guess how a track will proceed and what NR the makers can bring in , considering the historical backing.!

I tell you - everything is so fresh in my mind as if it happened yesterday. I still remember all the members who used to be so active but are no where to be seen now after the disastrous leap.!

I will never forget the rush of PMs and comments for historical info whenever a new character was introduced or a new track began - Just to guess the future of a track. Sometimes, even driven to forcefully make an update. :-P But it was all so well and the only intention was to enjoy the show. Never mind that. :)

Actually, back then , Jodha Akbar was so engrossing that it was interesting discussing and we all , infact every one used to post about Jodha Akbar as if we have been assigned a research paper and we are supposed to draft it religiously with utmost care ..!!

Whether it is a Fan Fiction, or an episode analyzer , or a fun post, or offscreen updates, or those folks who used to give historical inputs .. Everything was just awesome.. ! :)

Jodha Akbar became part of our lives that time for those months. This Forum was so lively that time. Complete entertainment package.!

Thank you for making this terrific post. Still full of life, same as the old times. Reminds me of your Sunday threads, where you collected the best posts for the forum.!

Will try to add more, and write better, as soon as circumstances permit. :)

Oh Maddy! You brought it all once again. Those were the best days of JA and us, before the CVs list their senses completely. Yeah, it became unbearable and I had said a final goodbye too long time back.

Thanks for your kind mention of me in your post. Very kind of you to remember me and also give a place in your wonderful post.

We all had such great times together on the forum as well. Let me also take this opportunity to thank all my friends who have made JA even more enjoyable with the lively discussions. Unforgettable days indeed! And Abhay's non stop history feed, made it richer and will ever be remembered.

Really the early JA was so good, pity it just plunged into negativity.

You reminded me of the scene in Jodha suicide attempt track, Jalal alone at night with Jodha's hair strand around his finger, for the first time thinking of what it was like for Jodha in Agra. MA walking in and Jalal telling her he wants to be alone.

Dhakka! OK I guess each ja fan can write pages and pages on this😆. To think after torturing viewers CVS never even let Jalal know!!!

OMG! Dhakka is still a dhakka to us? Till date Jalal does not know?? I wish they will make him know at least before that last episode. It's sooo unfair. It was index a torture Maddy, whenever ref was made to it by Jalal.
